  6. i have a 20 year old steel road bike, and not being funny, it doesnt get hard till your hitting 30 miles. thats with 20 mph average speed over hills ( i live by the pennines. the only killer road that gets me is a road called cragg vale. its 8 miles and all uphill, no flat, just hill, its the longest single assent in europe apparently and its a bitch, takes an hour to go 8 miles lol. and road bikes are fun when you can over take cars doing 30 mph on flat, thats very weird the first few times you do that. i love my road bike i just dont ride it cos its a shed and peopel i know may see me lol
  7. seems a good idea. i always go on to see if people want anything i have then instead just look at things to buy

  9. yeh, its a small bit of metal shaped like a tophat, it goes through the sprocket and fits over the axle.
  10. did you fit the top hat washer back on the sprocket
  11. just go, leave the forum now. how dare you insult BA like that.
  12. hammer and screwdriver? and then a soft mallet to refit? not definate answers but should work.
  13. a bmx? i ve only had mine a week and im used to how it ride and love it, fit a back brake and do a little trials if you feel like it lol
  14. tomm that is actually awesome want to ride tomorrow? ill be on my new bmx though because my bbs broke. PLEEEEEASE
  15. V brakes are useless unless you run a booster or two. two is better as it eliminates flex from each end of where the brakes bolted on. also i havent seen the onza ones but i can pretty much guarentee they have flex calipers and no adjustment on the levers, you want v brakes then spend a lot of money on them. if not get a magura and yeh i think onza have took the p**s by specing their new range with Vs personally.
  16. an 18- 50 will get you what you want. if not buy the canon 50 f1.8, great little portrait lens, then buy a fisheye for trials. ( peleng from ebay is a great choice if you can live with manual focusing) for land/urbanscapes you may want to buy the sigma 10-20. you will want the lens with the least barrel distortion so go look at some reviews. barrel distortion is when the corners of the picture lean towards the centre and you will probably dislike this. if its not an issue the sigmas an awesome lens. Depending what sport you want to shoot you may be best with a telephoto. I dont know what kind of portraits you want but a canon 70-200 L f4 would be awesome at 70mm for tight portraits and great for any telephoto work.
  17. ok i think i could be wrong but it could be lens length. from shutter ( sensor film whatever. to the front element. however that doesnt work as a 10 mm lens obviously isnt 10 mm. ask mike, he ll know
  18. ok if i come with my camera will i be allowed into sections to take pictures. example pic
  19. not keen at all. nasty geo and styling. that magura sticker looks wrong too. nice spec though ( except those cranks)
