  1. It could just aswell be a Wilier Triestina or Chaka. All three companies did sell the same bike, allthough I'm pretty sure it's actually a Muddy Fox production.
  2. Ok... maybe the "big" money wasn't the right term, what i meant was the... "comfortable" money. I'd love to believe that a academic title doesn't make life easier, but it does. People in high-paying jobs - jobs a non-graduate has almost no chance of getting - seem to worry about the wrong stuff. If you think you got it tough because you're getting nowhere at your current CAD-project, or you think the world comes to an end, because you quoted the wrong legal text. Don't worry, you're allready in a position where the shit drops on somebody elses head below you. Just use the system, dont act like an infant... it's possible to earn roughly double than what the average craftsman does just by finishing a certain study, even though the craftsman might have 20+ years more experience than you do. I dont know how graduates suit the economics in GB, but where i come from 9/10 (non engineering-)academics are worthless to any company (I know at least four of my friend who would agree and just go with it). And if you say it's the companies job to educate them and make them "fit", then why finish an university to begin with? you may substract 40% of the negativity in my post, since I'm currently stepping into a small business ownership involving a dead branch in which you can only survive by sucking up to people... yay!
  3. Photographer... it sucks to all the young readers: finish school, go to university and become a little piece in a big system, if you want to earn the big money it's not what teachers/professors will tell you, but they now it's true
  4. whatever you (guys from onza) do, just keep the 74° HA
  5. i'm curious to see when Rockman gives away a free coffee mug to the owner of the 10.000th broken frame. seriously, design isn't everything...
  6. You go out for a three hour ride and try to come up with a new video (it's been three years). The locations were barely rideable as it's been for months now. Speeding through water didn't help, that's for sure. Other than that, it was a fun ride...
  7. wow, that's so important... especialy during a comp
  8. what a jewel! those complete V-Racing were ridiculously expensive... >€3000 but at least you got a sub 10kg bike -they advertised it as "9.96kg"

    PS4

i cant believe how everone is freaking out about the 8gb RAM... i know it's some special RAM UMA kind of thing but you cant "see" it. how are gamers so stupid to obsess about some specs?! it's almost as ridiculous as in the DSLR world... What i'm excited about is the 4K resolution. Now thats something you can actually see
  10. say "yes" to yokes! say "no" to those funky geos...

    Pavel's New Vid

starting to really apreciate his videos... it's a pleasure to watch some hard riding and edits besides all the mellow, tight jeans, street riding stuff it's fun to see whats possible on a trials bike. sadly the "real" pros dont show that very often...
  12. ok... that's gonna be hard to explain, since I'm not a native speaker. I understand what you are saying. But I'd rather adjust my bar in a way that affects the move itself, not the "build-up" to the move. For example: I'd say a stretched rear wheel stance gives an advantage for sidehops. It gives you that last bit of "snap" at the take-off when pulling your legs towards the bars. That gets lost when you tilt your bars that way.
  13. my theory... if you've seen carthy, you know he's tall guy. not tall overall, but he has a tall upper body. I guess that's the reason why he, and some other riders with either a long torso or perfect technique can benefit from that bar angle. Why so many tilt their bars... I don't know. ok... It's because Carthy and Gilles do it
  14. recommending my own thread... priceless changed the drivetrain some more... TryAll cranks, ENO freewheel, Truvativ Gigapipe.
  15. felt kinda stupid spending 150,- or so on a computer case alone, but it's worth it. the cable management is so well thought out
  16. finally upgraded my PC! had the PSU, GPU, Case lying around a few days, but didnt have the time. not biggest fan of case modding, but holy f***, that case has the finest build quality I've ever seen. pic shows the complete PC without any shades/covers
