I wouldn't worry about what the bike looks like. Regarding Onza parts, they make many good parts. I myself have onza rims on my bike now, and have used and would love to go back to onza bars. Honestly, save your money! Ride your bike and upgrade when you feel something is holding you back. Breaks are usually the first thing people upgrade.

Pedals aren't supposed to spin freely, if they spin 1/4 of a turn when you flick them then that is right.

Balance is kind of a technique. Anyway, if i had a perfect trials technique. More perfect than Danny Mac and Niel Tunnicliffe combined, but had the same amount of strength i do now (i have the upper body strength of a 4 year old) how good of a rider would i be?

Trials is about technique and confidence anyway, not strength. Wearing weights is just going to make you bike feel lighter and more maneuverable afterwards. And could f**k up you're shoulders too.

I'd stay away from converting your mountain bike. It's best just to go out and buy a new bike as it'll take lots of upgrades for you're bike to actually ride like a trials bike. Keep checking out the forsale section, 24" aren't as popular as 26" streety bikes so you could probably get a better deal on a 26".
