  1. And you don't even know how to rotate a picture 90 degrees! Marry her right now!
  2. Spite is definitely the most important factor when buying computer parts. It's why I use nothing but Diablotek power supplies.
  3. If you don't need a full HD screen then it looks pretty good.
  4. Anyone mentioned broadchurch yet? Season 2 was an obvious 'after the fact' thing, but they seem to be doing it really smartly.
  5. Is that an issue? I thought all SSDs are thinner or at least the same as a standard laptop drive? Also, a SSD will save a fair amount of your battery life.
  6. I've done it in 10 mins tops. So you should manage it in 5. Although that isn't a SSD, it's a hybrid dive. As cheap as SSDs are these days I wouldn't bother with a hybrid.

    The Angry Thread.

How old are the kids? Or are they too young to have a valid opinion on anything? If not ask them how they feel living there. Could be the deal breaker or maker for you both. Getting a house together at the point you're at is dangerous. Assuming it'll be in both of your names and both of your incomes will pay the mortgage. With the possibility of you splitting up comes along you'll have major issues. Lastly, it's much better to break up sooner than later. This woman is going to be in your life till the day one of you dies, there's no getting around it. So to break up at a time where you just feel a mild contempt for one another is much better than not been able to stand one another. Oh and a good test on where you're at is to think about her f**king some other guy and see how that makes you feel. Next step is certainly and good sit down couple hour talk and get everything out in the open. I don't really believe in 'trying' to keep a relationship together, even with kids involved. Does more damage in the long run.
  8. Something about ^ that doesn't seem real.
  9. I punched a 4 year old in the face. I regret nothing.
  10. A fat tire bike. Bitches.
  11. Him and the duck have exactly the same face expression in that one pic.
  12. I only skimmed the topic but I'm kind of glad that it seems that people don't know what the f**k they're talking about when it comes to depression. It means you've not experienced it. People who seriously suffer from depression feel 10 times as bad as that one time you found out your girl had sex with someone else, or your friend / family member just passed away ALL THE TIME. And their "good days" are when they feel only 3 times as bad as opposed to 10. A lot of it can be physiological, but it can also be a chemical imbalance which it's why it's important to go talk to people rather than doing something stupid.
  13. I've experienced it only once out here and we get a crap ton of snow. Very strange.
  14. Pretty sure that was Mark. I remember making the original thread. That game was awesome http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/124447-fantastic-contraption/ It seems like all the design links are still working too which is pretty amazing. Ads though
  15. Out of the Red and into the Black. Personally over thanksgiving weekend I picked up a fattire bike (Mongoose Dolomite) for $200, a Chromecast for $25, and a Samsung Tab 4 (8") for $180. Here black Friday has evolved from opening a little earlier on Friday to being open all of Thanksgiving and the Friday after (Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday). I've worked 3 of these doorbusters now at one of the biggest retailers in the world. 2012 was by far the worse for me. We Re-opened the store at 8pm Thanksgiving after being close since 4pm. We opened that morning at 8am and there was a few people in line outside waiting to get in by nothing major. However, when we opened the door we realized after about 10 mins the people entering hadn't stopped yet. We got around 300 people in 20 mins. This was the first time we'd been open thanksgiving apparently and were not prepared for it at all. I got hurried back to layaway and did those for 2-3 hours missing all the shit that was going on in the rest of the store. Luckily our store has a system where they give numbers to the people in line that will correspond to the item. So before the doors open the item is already there so there was no major rushing to electronics. Since 2012 we've been open from 7am Thanksgiving morning till 10:30pm Black Friday. We don't really have major pricebreaks like $80 TV's so there's a lot less insanity and more good old fashioned shopping for good deals.

No f**king one. They were such a pain in the ass. Which game? You can't do this in 1 or 2, but in 3 you could only after completing it. But that was intentional.

I achieved this this year. Been able to get 25 for a long time, 24 was a thousand try push. Going to do it on a console sometime for it to be an official record.
  18. This old thing is still going strong! With regards to the validation system, there is no right answer. TF has gone though many different states since I joined in 2004. I joined when It was on the rise. People were rapidly discovering trials and bikes we becoming more and more affordable and not just MTB/BMX mockups. We were all discovering new parts and ways to fix things. Many riders sought out a place and this was it. Now that's not the case. I've said it before, Tartybikes has made trials so much more accessible in the UK, for parts and knowledge it made the forum a little redundant. Not a bad thing really but I feel that was a major factor in new members signing up and joining the community. So now that TF is way past its peak looking back at any form of the old validation system isn't going to work. Personally I feel that the effort to put a new system in place would be too much for the small positive effect it would have. Especially since the people who would have to do that probably don't have the time. As for the SM system, I always though from day 1 that was a joke, and have said so on many occasions. It's a massive shame it never evolved with the rest of the forum. We currently don't have a single SM that joined the forum after 2005, meaning no new ones in 10 years. Maybe doing something with that along the way may have helped keep some frequency posters around longer... who knows.
  19. SSD are f**king fantastic. I really think there isn't a point in not having one these days.
  20. Time flies man. I remember one SM ranting about how he wish he'd have never recommended me for validation (back when only Admin could validate) because I had a differing opinion than him. Being stuck in NMC sucked big time. The funny thing is it actually worked well because it was a big deal to get validated and I think it made people stick around for longer because of it now that I think about it.
  21. Maybe 5 years ago this might have been unreasonable. But these days there no excuse for no picture other that lazyness... which isn't something you want from a seller.
  22. Do they really all expect to get one? There's something wrong with people there really is. What's the point? It's not like you can't wait a month for the new features.
