  1. I'll look into that but I'm mainly watching movies on Netflix and youtube that's where I'm having the problem. Maybe I should look into decreasing the volume on my wife rather than increasing the volume on my laptop.
  2. But yeah MIX MY PROBLEM MIGHTY MUEL! Is there anyway to boost the volume, or 3rd party drivers or something?
  3. That is true, but this one seems really quiet compared to my old dell and my acer laptops. You're one of those people who has a 52" screen with 400 pounds worth of sound equipment who'll refuse to watch anything in SD anymore aren't u?
  4. That's defeats the who point of a laptop doesn't it?
  5. I know I'm whoring up this thread a little but... My new laptop speakers are pretty quiet. Everything I watch it's always at full volume. This laptop actually has an analogue volume wheel so I've made sure the sound it up full on everything. Is there anything else I can check? It's fine with the headphones.
  6. I did all that and I also installed an extension on chrome and non of it worked. Then I restarted chrome and it worked. :$
  7. Clicking on mailto links opens up outlook, how do I stop that from happening and open up gmail instead? Chrome / W7.
  8. That was my problem. But for MSN and skype, the only way to get rid of them from the taskbar was to close the program fully as opposed to sending them to the icon tray next to the clock which is what I wanted. Sorted now, but there really should be an option on msn and skype to do that. Also I just realized if I could set it so that it showed icons an not to group I wouldn't be able to tell the windows with the same icons apart so I guess that's why it's like that.
  9. Keeps the taskbar empty? When It's impossible to remove skype and msn...
  10. I can't see how having to move your mouse over the msn icon, and then having a display picture, msn main window, and 2 conversations windows pop up is any better. And I have skype and msn open permanently, but very rarely use them, I really don't want them sat on my taskbar all the time. EDIT. They're back in the tray icon, just had to change the compatibility to windows vista. Sooooo much better.
  11. I've been using vista for 15 months no problem. Windows 7, I have a major problem. The whole Icons thing on the start menu is seriously f**ked up. There's 3 options under the 'taskbar buttons'. Always combine, hide lables. Combine when taskbar is full and Never combine. My first issue is why the hell do I have only have one option on combining with the labels been hidden. I've never seen anything like that (the 2nd and 3rd options show regular window labels from as you'd see in xp as opposde to icons). Why can't I have icons that don't combine?! Ontop of that, MSN and Skype both won't close down to the trey icon only, they stick around on the taskbar. They are not pinned. Help! Am I doing something stupid?
  12. It'll be unlikely to be seen in new members chat. Post it maybe in chit-chat or the TF upgrade topic in the news section.
  13. Probably because he knew the topic would turn out the way it did.
  14. Looking back on your posts, you're probably back here because of lack of effort in your posts. No capital letters, little use of punctuation etc. ..for example.
  15. f**king magnets, how do they work? (New link on first post).
  16. When I went to London I stayed in a comically terrible hotel. Honestly worth going just for the laugh. Cromwell Crown I think it was called (not to be confused with the nice Cromwell hotel. Very cheap and you got your own shower.
  17. Usually laptop hard drives are partitioned to use one as a recovery. On my old laptop there was about 70gb on a partitioned drive. And it was only a 160gb harddrive. Goto my computer and see.
  18. I'm on Chrome and I'm still getting it. ...just kidding. I only have to tick a box then I can use the site as normal so it's no too bad.
  19. Same here. FIX IT FIX IT FIX IT.
  20. I use two types of birth control.

You'd have to email him for quotes. It's a risk. You might end up with the wrong items (due to the language barrier), or damaged items and then it's coming out of your wallet to ship them back for a refund (no refund for postage as well so you lose out twice). He ships his stuff from China.
  22. I believe Verizon is a USA company, and this is a predominantly UK based forum.
