  1. No videos unfortunately It will oversteer yeah. I have a 23mm front arb, and a 28mm rear. Its fairly stiff by all accounts, but seems pretty well behaved. I thought about getting some tuition, but all the places were full.
  2. Adam, all your lines and braking points look the same as the ones I took, apart from the first corner. I started braking just as my rear wheels crossed the white line before the corner...looks like I scrubbed far too much speed off compared to you (although I assume I was going quicker in the first place). I think I would struggle to go into the corner any quicker though, its bloody scary entering a corner without scrubbing much speed off after coming off a straight in excess of 130mph!
  3. Wasn't me, haha! There was another grey LCR there, an '04 plate with red intercooler hoses...guessing it was him. That's an impressive time! I genuinely don't think I could go any quicker (other than perhaps with an LSD), you must have considerabley larger kahunas than me! The track day has killed my car, which is a touch annoying. It's now got a block with no pistons, and no head on. Trying to find the cause of my idle misfire, but not having much luck!
  4. New PB of Snetterton 300 of 2:25. For comparison, there was a 700bhp Noble M12 which was doing 2:19, and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS which had lots of toys doing 2:22. Seriously chuffed! For the record, Nankang NS2-R's are absolutely insane. They give SO much grip it's untrue...a must have been nearly 10 seconds quicker a lap than with road tyres!
  5. Nope, it's just an open pit, so presume anything is welcome!
  6. I have a track evening at Snetterton on Thursday...presume there will be an abundance of mx5's getting some cheeky practice in?!
  7. You won't bend the rods at 230bhp. Just make sure you go for a progressive map that isn't too spikey, then everything will be hunky-doory The ebay system is a decat yes. If its that much of a problem, you can get a 3" cat welded in...but I would just run without if it was me. You will need to find a friendly MOT'er though, it won't pass without.
  8. It had a big exhaust on it, so presume it had a few things done to it. He was flat out, and I had to keep lifting off so as to not push him out of the way. Great fun! Also upset a guy in an e46 m3. Had the weirdest sounding exhaust on it, sounded sooooo raspy, almost like a Vtec. I love this car so much, it keeps surprising me with what it can pick off!
  9. Looked like it was working just fine...just not as well as mine
  10. Last night I had a play with a modified skyline R34 GTR. Destroyed it completely. Kinda shattered my childhood dream car illusion
  11. My friend is selling the 230bhp stage 2 Leon Cupra that I built and maintain for him. Its up for £2200, but will take £2000 if anybody is interested. Absolute monster of a car, worth SO much more than £2000, but sadly that's what the market dictates
  12. Its not a 30 sign! There is an arrow on the road telling you to stay in the left lane, the white lines are warning of an approaching hazard, there is a T junction sign, and there are white signs showing names and direction arrows behind it. Added to that, the junction sign has a yellow background, which means it is an accident blackspot. ...pull the other one! Stupid douche
  13. You took a picture whilst approaching a junction at 100mph?! Are you insane, or just retarded?!
  14. Unless you will swap for LCR rims...or they are insanely cheap/free, I'll have to give them a miss I'm afraid. Nick has 16574985562 sets of wheels...he doesn't need more, don't encourage him!
  15. So it happened. Coupled with 5 point harnesses with 3" straps. ...whoops! This is turning into less and less of a daily, and more into a pain in the ass, impractical, uncomfortable money pit. Excellent!
  16. N75 is the boost valve solenoid
  17. Its quite tricky to get it to change maps, you have to blip both pedals at EXACTLY the same time, for a split second for it to change. I've tried to simulate being in the situation you describe, but it won't change...which is a good job, because that would suck haha. You can change maps on the move...but it's very annoying for the people behind, especially if you are in map 2, and want to be in map 1 (you have to cycle through 2, 3, 4, 5, then 1)
  18. I have 5 switchable maps (selected by tapping the brake and accelerator simultaneously, which then flashes the EML the number of times the map is...so 1 flash is map 1, 5 flashes map 5). Each map is 20% N75 duty cycle, so: Map 1 = 100% Map 2 = 80% Map 3 = 60% Map 4 = 40% Map 5 = 20% I then have my N75 isolator switch by the dash, which obviously gives 0% duty cycle, and effectively another map...so 6 switchable maps in essence. Not got any power data or graphs from the various maps...but there is s noticable difference between the 6...although even with the N75 switch off, it's still bloody potent! Not really had a chance to really push it on the road, it's was pouring with rain all day...which led to wheelspin in 5th...bit scarey on a motorway!!!
  19. My car mapping is now complete. It made 346bhp and 324ftlbs. Headline figures were a few bhp lower (made 348/328 last time), but midrange is faaaaaar better (gained 50ftlbs in places). It's totally different to drive now. It's just power, power, POOOWWWWWEEEERRRRRR!!! So much so, that on a country road in 4th, I dropped down for an overtake (even though you don't really need to drop down a gear, I just like the pull!), and the torque steer in 3rd genuinely nearly pulled me into a ditch!!! So much area under the graph, it's awesome!
  20. Wait...hang on...the silver duct tape has gone?! Whoop whoop!!!
  21. Are you at home home, or school home? Shame the 150's have so many problems. Mine was awesome...apart from the engine, haha
  22. I doubt it, seeing as mine were 18s They are sri alloys, so maybe it is. If it does turn out to be a 150, thats a good price!
