Got a letter through today offering a driver awareness course for my accident last month. Bit of a wallet raper at £185, but faaaaaar better than the 6 points and £5-700 fine I was facing. Feeling very very relieved. So much so I have emailed R-Tech to book my car back in for the remap I cancelled due to shitting it about having the points and not being able to afford to keep the car.

Genuinely saw that as a stick man bending over another stick person, hahahaha! Fitted my water meth injection today. Very odd having the inlet manifold ice cold, and the manifold glowing red. Which...by the way has cracked again. Not bad for a manifold which has been on my car for about 200 miles tops. Seriously considering selling it and getting a mk5 Golf Gti Edition 30...if only I could sell mine for something even remotely near to what I've spent on it! ...need some new fronts tyres too. Eurgh.

What size is it?
-
Well yeah, I will have to tell them I've had an accident, but it isn't my no-claims, so that should stay intact

Not a good time for Fiesta company cars recently! It was actually quite a good little car to be fair. Will be sad to see it gone

As a polar opposite...by far the least cool thing to happen to me in a long time: 2 hours in hospital, 6 X-rays later...5 hours from collision to home. Not cool. Just thankful it was my work van and not my own car! Unfortunately it was all my own doing too. Pulled out on a car at a dual-carriageway crossing, all because I couldn't see shit from the sun being so low and blinding me. Saw the car infront of this one, and the one behind, and deemed the gap safe to cross, and got a tasty T-Bone for my efforts. Car that hit me was a Mazda 3, full of a group of 18 year old girls going to the Kiss Weekender dance party. They got picked up by one of the girls' dads, and continued to the party! Their car however wasn't so pretty. Was shocked at just how bad it had fallen apart from a head on collision. Did it's job though, because nobody was injured (I was the only one that went to hospital). Just awaiting what happens with regards to prosecution. Hoping I'm not too harshly dealt with. The policeman said the sun was a major contributing factor, and there was no element of speed or anything involved, so hopefully it will just be a driver awareness course...if it comes to prosecution. Glad it only resulted in what happened. The way the girls were screaming, I honestly thought I had seriously hurt somebody. Never felt as awful as that before My neck and back are pretty stiff and sore, but hopefully that will subside soon. Will be a lot more careful with the low sun now, and will be looking into prescription sunglasses so this hopefully can be avoided in the future! Ruined my 10 year record of no accidents too Luckily my NCB remains though, because it was a company vehicle.

I mean this with absolutely no disrespect whatsoever, because there's obviously more to it than the average Joe perceives...but what actually makes selling 30 cars (1 a day basically) a month so stressful? Genuinely curious as to how much is involved. It's obviously hard work, or you wouldn't be where you are now.

What are you doing to be earning such a ridiculous amount?! Last I checked, salesmen weren't on a high enough wage to sustain crazy spending for more than a month after March and September "big pays"! Or is it just because you're living at home again, so aren't spending £x amount on the mortgage? Either way, I agree with the others...tone it down a bit! You'll look back and regret wasting so much money on such high cost things that's people just class you as a douche for spending so much on. I dare say you could have pretty much bought the S3 you seem to be longing for by now if it weren't for all the other stuff. You're a dick, but you wouldn't be Jardo if you weren't, and it wouldn't be the same if you lost it due to a meltdown at such a young age!

Dann, look for "anti-buzz" fittings. Pretty sure that's what they are called anyway.

No thanks, I don't want the NA shit you had

Its currently on an AMD stage 2 map. It was running 290bhp according to their rollers. Since then it's had a full rebuild consisting of the following: Replacement AGU block and head (was previously an AMK engine) AGU large port intake manifold Phenolic large port intake manifold gasket Genesis 550cc injectors OEM 3bar fuel pressure regulator DM rifle drilled 144x20 con rods AGU pistons NGK BKR7E spark plugs New (this year) set of genuine coilpacks New (this year) OEM recirc valve SFS 80mm turbo intake pipe Jetex 80mm cone filter with cold air feed from fog light grille Prawn’s old exhaust manifold (I believe it is an XSPower/Relentless V1) Prawn’s old CR/BBT K04 hybrid turbo with 1 bar actuator Cobra turbo-back 3” exhaust Wellycooler with 63mm pipework throughout (custom charge pipe due to using AGU inlet) Devils Own 6-30 Base WMI kit Sytec in-tank replacement fuel pump N249 valve delete (valve still in to stop EML) N80 valve (carbon canister) delete LUK dual-mass flywheel/pressure plate & Sachs 4 puck paddle clutch (approx. 6k old) Potential there for 350bhp as there was on Prawn's pretty much identical setup. R-Tech will be mapping it, so I have no doubt the final result will be an awesome drive regardless of the figures. Lol, Adam, a reshell into a Quattro TT is on the cards next year if I can find one with a blown engine.

Booked for 14th December...eek!
-
Dan, if you don't have anything to block the hose, just fold the end over itself and cable tie it. That should give you a good enough seal.
-
Should have a date for mapping in the next hour. Hoping it's this side of Xmas!
-
Excited? I'd be absolutely devastated! Just to keep on topic...all my hybrid hardware is on and ready. Sent an email to book mapping, just awaiting a response. THAT is something to get excited about!

Thanks for putting new tyres on for me Luke

Because CompanyCar.

You really don't need much to change it. A socket set is literally all you need. As far as cambelts go, it really is as easy as they get. No messing about taking engine mounts off or anything. I think the belt and pump were about £80.
-
Hmmmmm...not quite as tempted as I was, haha! I guess logistically it would be a bit difficult too
-
Cambelt/water pump is piss easy Tic. Drop the bumper into service mode, and it's all there in front of you. I did my mums in a couple of hours. Buy the correct locking pins, and you will struggle to mess it up to be fair! Rbizzle, swap for my LCR's?

Or just live on a country hall estate where there is a pit in one of the outbuildings f**k all sketchy about my mechanics Mr Oliver! I may have a very low car, but I bought a super ultra mega low entry jack, that lifts from 70mm to 440mm in 8 strokes of the handle. Literally the best tool I have bought since owning a car! Wasn't cheap...but it's worth it's weight on gold.

If they don't send you an adaptor, I have one here you can have Dan, Forge sent me 3 by mistake, lol. Looks like a very well thought out kit!
-
£600, 27, 9 years ncd, 6 points (3 are 3+ years though). That's with all my mods covered like for like (up to 300bhp), on a 7500 limited mileage policy. Think a standard car would have been £300ish. That's with Flux.

Yes son! Let the slippery slope begin

No thanks. I think I speak on behalf of the entire forum when I say there is more than enough pictures of your Audi on here. ...unless of course you mean your new one. In which case, carry on! Just not 10000000 different angles of the same thing!
