  1. I'll do a water and anti-freeze bleed soon then, mate did his with water and its lush.
  2. I class disel as petrol personally, is a fossil fuel. But still cant be safe.
  3. Nothing to say that there still cant be a competition held to decide what it looks like with only that one being coded.
  4. Could you actually bleed a brake with disel and it not be dangerous? Not sure if i like the idea of petrol being in my brake to be honest.
  5. Why not have a competition. To save tom and danny some work, why dont we have a competition where whoever wants to design the new TF skin, just needs to take a screenshot of the current forum homepage OR create it from scratch. This way people can make their skin how they want it to look. Have a HUGE selection of them hopefully, then the winning 3 get created. Ovbiously the creation would already be half done as I know these skins compromise of alot of images, could just hack apart the image they created saving time and effort. Also if people such as Simon are willing to help (I am too as I know enough to mod a skin with IPB) then we can all help create them. Just an Idea, think it would be cool. The winning prize is having created the skin. Also this way the users of trials forum vote for the winning skin. (goes and starts designing own idea)
  6. So basically we have decided that water bled brakes are amazing and just need to lube the pistons everynow and then. Surely there is a better fluid closer to the liquidity of water but more oil based? As for the brake, Clean your rim with soapy water or de-greaser, buy a brand new grinding disc and re-grind it.
  7. Hope mono trial 07, arrived yesterday, man lever feels nice and hardly any sponge when locked.
  8. Have you checked for a small leak in your maggy, might just leak enough to contaminate pads? Clean the lot with soapy water.
  9. Hi, I was just woundering how people are finding the new medium bb rise frames compared to the high rise ones. I am currently riding an 06 Adamant and trying to decide what frame to buy, couldnt decide if I should stay high bb as I am used to it, or try out the new lower bb? What are peoples experiences?
  10. Browsing the net at college as you do, looking for something interesting and came upon this. 31 Bad Ideas Some are actually hillarious, such as the guy stabbing himself in the willy. Anyone got a funny story they would like to add. (Admins: if this is classed as too rude then I understand)
  11. When I got my A1 at first I would have agreed with you all saying they ride crap, worse for gaps etc. However once you get used to it like anybike, you can start to find its stregths. Before I got used to it my mate could out gap me like a whore and I couldnt tap like I used to. Now doing 42" comfortably, gapping 7-9ft depending on the drop too or if its flat. Manuals is one thing Im finding hard still. I think both damon watson and ben travis proved high bb's do not mean inferior on gaps. It just takes getting used to, and as no where has any 06 adamants left I would assume you mean the 07 adamant.
  12. They dont do decent ISIS bb's at 127.5. By decent I meant, the bearing dont shatter after 3 months (aka 2 of my FSA Platiums) nor should the cups break, which happened on all 3 of mine. So far 1 sq taper, lasting a long time.
  13. You might as well just buy a £25 shimano 105 as most people do, can lock it out easy and then when you hit it on a sidehop you wont whine about it.
  14. Yea it can be done, me and a mate did it with two controllers, must say it was fun trying to play with the motion tilt sidewinder controller. Cant remember how but it can be done.
  15. If you machine it down whatever colour it is to start with it will turn silver, and generally shiny. Fresh products dont make them from scratch as far as Im aware but offer a machine down type thing. I ran one for a while, very nice indeed, fat nicer than my 16ti I was running as I used to go to bash alot, but now I dont so back to a 16ti. Get it machined it will look very nice indeed.

    Headset

Im going to say no as the new echo headsets use the same bearing as chris king or something, which means sealed cartride bearings. So technically you can take it apart but I wouldnt guantee it going back together . How old is it, phone up where you bought it from and have a chat with them if its relativley new.
  17. Nothing to do with my texts but sureley this is a chit chat topic? Ill post them anyway. -Girl when you get back im going to give you the most amazing kiss of your life (this was from my best mate who happens to be a guy, went to wrong person) -oh my god student night too many shots people in toilets and i drink like man -What you up to im bored.
  18. I saw the cat pic and the first thing I saw was the p33n
  19. I have an A1 long which is meant to be 1100 I thought. With urbans it was 1102 and suprise suprise after snapping these and going back to tuff guys its a whopping............................................1101. So I doubt there will be that much difference and does it really matter what the wheelbase is. a huge difference such as a 20mm+/- difference maybe might be a slightly different feel but anything less I doubt you will notice much.
  20. I bed to differ, how come myTuf guys have lasted 3 years yet my urbans 8 months? Steerer snapped on the urbans and not on the tuff guys. To say that a proven fork is "crap" is quite a bad statement. Its a fact Steel IS stronger than aluminium if used at the same thicknesses, albeit heavier.
  21. Phone tarty up, they are extremley helpful and customer service is top notch. Always try to order from there if they sell what I need, even if its abit more. but everyone is saying you cant put a 73 into a 68, well you can, you just need to use spacers. I cant remember the name of the company that does this as they sell one bb for 73 and 68mm and they provide a spacer for a 68mm bb so it clamps propely. I think is truvativ.
  22. I have had Onza tuff guys since 2003, I have snapped 2 pairs of forks since having them and have gone back to these whilst I save up for another pair of forks. If you dont mind the weight penalty then you will have a hard time breakng them if they are as strong as they used to be.

    Taps

I am the mate he is refering to. I think I have found a slight bit of help, when I am doing the last stroke for the take off, if you pedal really hard as if your accelerating, it puts that force into the tap.
  24. Well Joe the reason I am asking is I was hoping someone or a few people as they have, would have used both hubs. I can say the King is amazing as I had one but I havent had a pro 2 so its abit of an unfair advantage to the kings. However, on a money situation with me loving games Im going to get the pro 2 and give it a go, so I can buy Saints Row. No that wasnt meant to rhyme its a real game, if I dont like the pro 2 I can always sell it and get a king. Thanks for all the replies, might be a useful thread to add to the archives.
  25. Ive done a search, I infact hate the search function as whatever you type in it comes back with a load of useless information. The most recent thread involving a pro 2 I found was about a month old which wasnt much help as they were pretty new still.
