Doesnt mean that it doesn't get funding though does it? In fact, you've just proved my point. The funding for cycling has been more serious and well organised than any track or field funding and training over the past 3 olympics. Good progress doesn't come in 4 years, which means we'll still be shit at track and field in 2012, but maybe some time after that we'll get back up the ranks.
