  1. Disagree. Mrs Dilworth manages it by cooking them mainly, then cracking the heat right up for the final 10-15 minutes. Make sure they're dry too, kitchen roll works well.
  2. I think it has to be rotated about 70 degrees anti clockwise and down a couple of feet mate. I'm no expert though.
  3. If he was open to the idea that you could be Alison, he was probably pleasantly surprised either way.
  4. What about sourcing another roof and getting someone else to swear at it?
  5. Sucks, no other decent options?
  6. Almost like lots of people with soft tops that leak have realised it's about to get even wetter than Summer is!
  7. I'd probably swap the skipping session out for the sprint session rather than add it in. Ultimately the sort of track session I mentioned falls in the HIIT bracket and will be more beneficial for your running than skipping will. That said, I'm a huge fan of skipping for cardio work so it wouldn't be the end of the world to swap and change them as and when you want. Potentially have a look into the FIRST marathon training schedule. I know you're not going for a marathon, but the general structure of it will give you an idea of a great way to train.
  8. It's "Sapphire Black" Tom. I went passed a Halfords earlier so I picked up a kit. I figured it'd be about taking it slow, so I won't get a chance to do it this weekend – I'll probably do it next weekend. The main thing is just to get the metal covered so I can stop any rust before it starts. There's a couple around the car that have only gone down to primer rather than metal. Do you reckon I can just wet sand them to spread the colour? I've heard that can work in some cases.
  9. It's very metallic so that's got me a bit hesitant. I may have to get a scrap panel of the same colour and see whether I can get it looking right...
  10. The best thing to do at that sort of level is actually swap it out the other way. Go with time targets instead for a while - run 10 minutes away from your start and then turn around and come back. Next time go 15, and so on. You could even do that on the route that you're planning to run. Once you've got up to the point that you're running an hour in total, then you can look at your distances and start focussing on getting to the 13 mile mark. Intersperse all that with some speed work though. The effect of some sprinting on your long distance pace will be surprising. I like to find a track and do intervals - something like 400m quick followed by 200m jog 8 times. I can't run at all at the moment due to injury but that sort of loose programme at the start is what got me to a baseline level to go on to do some marathons.
  11. Had the 1 Series remapped this afternoon. Definitely quicker, but the main thing is the turbo lag has been mostly mapped out. Liking it a lot. Anyone had any experience with the little 3 pen kits from halfords for chips? There's a couple of little bits that could be improved on the car, but definitely aren't worth spray work. If they're worth a go I'll get one.
  12. This might work, because it's a gif instead of a video:
  13. My problem with that game is that we gave away so many penalties in the first half. The pundits in the box seem to have overlooked the fact that a bit of early discipline would have meant we'd never have been under pressure at the end. Fair play to Wales though, they played a great last 15.
  14. 120d, just under £7k. Really decent condition. Happy with it. Remap on Monday to make me even happier. Got home and polished it straight away. Probably added £500 to it...
  15. Just picked up the new car. Surprisingly fun considering its a small soot chucker. Got £700 in the end for the old heap which isn't the end of the world. Pics to follow.
  16. Whoooosh. Or maybe just a bad joke. It's not unlikely.
  17. Yea, but flights back are expensive Mike.
  18. This should take you to your list of topics: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/profile/91-mark-w/?do=content&type=forums_topic&change_section=1 It's in Profile -> See My Activity -> select Topics on the left hand side
  19. Nope. The PS3 Eye has turned up but not the IR bit. It'll be a worthwhile addition for sure!
  20. They were lucky. Where lucky means "had better prep, worked harder and deserved the win."
  21. Spent f**king yonks getting those wheels sorted for the car. Spent a fortune on new tyres a month or so back. Wife then ploughed into a kerb and totalled one, so I've just had to go put part worn tyres on the old wheels again for the part exchange this weekend. £75 gone, which is a fair percentage of its value. I will be pleased to see this thing gone – I am not cut out for a project daily. That said, I still want a garage and a project...
  22. A 330ci Clubsport which I have run into the ground. Hope someone else can put the time and money into it.
