  1. ah, so that was a separate person you were talking about then?
  2. Classic Andee. This is a topic discussing the matter of trouble out riding and I'll put my thoughts across weather you like them or not. Pugson did not specify he was talking about an exact incident (or if he did he was very vague), it came across more like that was his opinion on how you should treat security guards out and then calling people I know out for being polite. I am right to assume that Pugson was the one on that ride that more than one person has mentioned as being a dick?
  3. You do seem confused. You seem to be thinking that Carl and co are "a bunch of hand wringing apologists" and " bottleless and spineless losers" because they thought acting like a tool and wanting to fight security guards was a bad thing. Normal people tend to have respect for others, if a security guard comes over and is polite to you and asks you to move it's the respectful thing to move on. You seem to think that they have just given you consent to give them abuse and should only move when the police get involved. That's why I think you are confused because that seems to be a pretty childish attitude and you must have meant something else.

thought I would mention that I actually really liked "chill ride", that was sweet (the others were pretty boss too!)
  5. for pretty much the same strength but a little lighter you could get a Spank Subrosa or if you want a little wider, the Spank Stiffy is the same weight as the Atomlab, just as strong and is 40mm wide.
  6. its put on as a plasma jet (not a paint) which is a very expensive process. As I said, people class trials rims as almost a throw-away-able item. Rims are so light weight and so minimal it would seem a little crazy to add a $150 coating for the rim to be replaced in less than 12 months.
  7. yeah, this was something you could get years ago, I remember it being on goatwheels.com. I haven't personally tried the Plazmatic coating, I have tried other types (less harsh) and they are pretty sweet. I think for most riders rims are too expendable to consider having the treatment though.
  8. yeah, I hate poisoning my brake, makes me feel really guilty plus I hate it when all the paint inside comes off and clogs the brake up..... .....oh wait?
  9. in my eyes, the Der Kaiser is the best tyre out there at the moment, it has the best grip (fact) most puncture resistance, most stability and best wear life. It is a little heavy, but that's one negative out of 4 positives.
  10. have you actually read the thread?
  11. I don't remember the actual moment, or my age, but I do remember the bike, so blue little 12" jobbie which did have stabilizers at first (I remember getting stuck in puddles) but at some point must have had the stabilisers taken off. The first bike I remember properly riding up and down the avenue on was some Moto GP style bike with pedals on, I think that was the bike I had when I leaned to ride properly on, after that I had a "hedgehopper" I think by Apollo from a local bike shop, I know that never had stabilisers on so I must have been near 8 or 9 by that point.

  13. good riding, boring video though.
  14. they would have a standard 4 pronged freewheel tool if they have any in stock, that would do the job
  15. if you had ordered one from Tartybikes earlier when you first mentioned it, it's very likely it would have been with you tomorrow, too late now I guess. I would pay halfords a visit.
  16. The whole point about their feature is that it's new videos from that week that have been posted that people might have missed. Because there are so many media outlets for 'normal' MTB stuff it's easy to miss, so they collate the best to give people a decent selection of them. For trials, there are only a couple of places videos get posted (this forum being one of the main ones) so there might not be quite the same requirement, plus planning up to 4 weeks ahead seems a little strange as by that time you'd hope there'd have been some better videos posted somewhere.
  17. Doesn't work like that and you missed the point.
