well, Rock'n Roll Cycles sold Onza to Moorelarge?, so in theory, they shouldn't have any more rights than any other shop. Moorelarge set the rrp, they tell shops to stick to it, Rock'n Roll don't. If that isn't the case and Rock'N Roll do still own onza, then is cheeky to tell people to do one thing and do something differently yourself. cheaper bikes are good, I'll agree. But Rock'n Roll selling them for less is unfair. If everyone has to sell them at the same price, then people have more choice where to get them, the more choice they get the more the actual service the shop gives will get better so they choose them other the competition. THAT would be better for the sport! If they got better service, the bike would come set up, would have great aftersales advice and great general advice and the rider would spend more time riding a well set up bike rather than spending less and getting a bike in a box with no knowledge of how a trials bike should be set up and will either ride worse because of that, or in a worse case example, fall apart and break. That rider won't have enjoyed the sport as much as the rider who payed the rrp and got the service and is more likely to stay in the sport for longer.

There's no "Middlemans margin tacked ont top", how would that work if they're selling them at well below rrp? It's just another company just doing things purley for the profit and not for the good of the sport, it's another company who doesn't care who they f**k over as long as they get their way. I could name a couple more...Ozonys, Atomz etc

well I can't speak for the shop as I have not been there for a good while now, but most other shops do not have the level of service somewhere like Tartybikes has so we (they) try and make it clear exactly what they are getting if they pay retail price. No other shop sets the bike up for the customer before sending the bike out as far as I am aware. Some people have no idea about how to set bikes up so getting what's basically just some bits in a box doesn't help out people who are new to trials, whereas getting a bike set up to the highest standard does.

ok, say when you buy a product from the importers, they set a rrp (recommended retail price). Some places allow you to go lower, but if you do it eats into your profit margins. With Onza bikes/parts I believe they are quite strict with you not going under the rrp so its fair for every shop. Rock'n Roll cycles are repeatedly selling parts at under the rrp to get more customers and f**king over other shops. Well, some shops try to go lower than they do, which ends up making other shops that stick to the rules look expensive (or get a slap at any hint of lowering the prices themselves).

As I said, why wear trousers? Am I the only one who thinks "what a tw@" when I see people who take their tops off at the nearest hint of sunshine to "show off" what a "BIG LAD" they are? I would have thought they would be experienced enough by now (as most trials riders are) that if it's looking sunny and warm and your about to do something that will make you hotter you don't go out wearing trousers and a top that is uncomfortable to wear.

a BIT low? lol my bars are a good few cm higher than yours and I only have a +20mm bb! Bike does look good though, Matte black looks so good for frames!

if you want a slow returning arm pump inducing brake, then mineral oil is fine. Otherwise just put some anti freeze in and tell the people at comps that you don't always have to do what you are told.

not a huge fan to be honest. I don't like how skinny they all look, I know you can't tell from a picture, but it just screams "flexy" at me. Also not a fan of the Geo either, it's getting rarer and rarer to find any frames with a lowish ~30mm bb. I want to ride my bikes, not pretend they are pogo sticks. The 24" is pretty nuts with the chainstays that short and the bb that high, but the Because Trial frame was similar and sold quite well, so what do I know eh?

then why wear trousers?

decades are odd, they almost don't seem to fit in anywhere in lines (unless you do them mid jump).

don't think how short a bike is has much to do with how high the bars should be. Anyway, as short as the wheelbase on that Ashton is, the reach is actually quite long! I don't agree that a Trialtech high rise stem would be good on it, but I do recken a steep 90mm stem and some high rise bars would suit it perfectly. I had a 110mm hope stem on my old Ashton and it always felt a bit long for my liking, and the higher I put my bars on it, the better it felt.

for someone who is more and more beginning to not enjoy trials videos, this one actually was very good! Even more surprising that I liked it when they are riding mods too! They are sooo bouncy! The height of the stuff they are doing is nuts too, I enjoyed it muchly

The whole start with them in the carpark, the running with KFC, the jump over the car with the women inside. Plus I HATE it when people feel the need to do stuff with their tops off for no reason at all. Some of the stuff they did was sooo cringe-worthy I was waiting for them to burst out laughing as it surly had to be a joke?

He has definitely got some skills! He makes forjam whips look easy (I have been trying them for a year and still cant do them) and as Rusevelt said, that up to front hops to tailwhip to 270 drop was cool. I also agree with other people about lacking flow. One reason why I like Macaskill's riding so much is that he hardly does any correction hops and is barley stood still for a moment. If this video was a bit faster paced and had fewer correction hops and maybe a little more thought into some of the lines I think he would be well up there with Danny.

the actual stuff they are doing is incredible don't get me wrong, it's impressive and dangerous BUT the whole way it was filmed, with the stupid acting and power ranger hand signals ruined the whole thing for me and made them look like one big joke.

very very very gay. I am sure one of them pulled a power rangers move in there too.

I have to say this, those guys are some of the least flowing "streety" street riders I have seen. The guy at the end had the most style, but he still did horrible "English style" 360s (just a flat spin, not a bunnyhop). I recken they need to take their brakes off for a few months, they would be beasts if they did!

looking good, I like the chainstay area. I am going to go back to gussets though. You welded them up completely, is there a reason? It was my understanding they were working best when left open ended and welding them completely can create a stress riser?

the problem with (older) HS11s is that they had a larger master piston, this reduces power compared with the smaller piston on the HS33, I wouldn't ever consider the older style HS11 for trials ever!
