  1. I never worked with orange with designs, but I did draw some of those based on some orange frames.
  2. I recommend leaving the tyre and tube on and just push them out of the way when grinding. This stops you getting gunk (wax, release agents, dirt) from the tyre and tube on the rim when fitting them which results in a much better brake.
  3. I think it looks pretty decent!
  4. the 2nd vid was better! (in the youtube playlist)
  5. another vote on the base frame, sounds perfect for what you want.

the phone line at work has been off the hook with new riders wanting bikes!
  7. These are some old pics I drew a while back.
  8. Its not a mod length stem, but it does suit the bike very well!
  9. I have some, not had ANY problems with them, plus they are pretty light too.

    Jobs.

I have no GCSEs but I did study at college to get a deploma in graphic design. I was going to take it further and plan to make a living from it but I HAAAAATE computers and I just got fed up with it. I then went to a place called "Key Training". its meant for kids who have been kicked out of school, but it was the only place near me that taught welding (which I love doing). Through them I got an apprentiship at a wire factory where I was being trained up as an engineer to make and upkeep the machines that bend/ cut the wire. To be fair, that was pretty good. The guy who was training me was on £25 an hour! But I couldn't cope with the hours (7.30 - 4.30 is too much for me). I would rather have less money and be happy than have money but be unhappy. I was then jobless for a while until I got a call off Tartybikes asking if I fancied a job. I accepted and I am still there now. The hours are better, I am working with things and people that interest me and I get loads of help with bike parts. I have never written a CV in my life.
  11. not that light! Pretty average grinds I would say
  12. they are Azonic bars, you can get them from chainreaction
  13. I usually get over 20 grinds with my trialtech rims
  14. I would go with the TR. They are the same material as urbans (so hold grinds well) but are a bit lighter. If you are breaking these rims, I would be looking more at riding smoother.
  15. lol, Stan's brake is the BEST I have ever felt!
  16. different, but will fit with modification (not that you'll want to change;))
  17. I think the zoo frames fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch!
  18. haha, I don't know much about the compounds used other than the ones that seemed good and the ones we could bite chunks off with our teeth
  19. same as the older original compound
  20. same as rowan really, I am always pushing to go bigger, I don't work on style that's something that just develops over time.
