I got mine the day before yesterday and my record is 12098 so far, I've submitted it on the mini-mileage on powerball.com Any tips on getting any heigher than that? Smo, how have you scored that high? Also, how strong would you say you are? Have u got huge forearms or something? I'd say mine are pretty big, but i really can't seem to get any heigher!

See If You Can Guess What's About To Happen...

What happened? Assuming everyone was ok by the "hee hee"? -
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo I was looing forward to this.. And what dd they have to do to wreck it? Have mod hub spacing!!!! BAHHHHHH!! Oh well, guess I won't be buying one then IF I decide to ride stock. I got a profile, but I wouldnt run it on a stock (because of the extra leverage), especially with the release of the new hope hub. EDIT: Having checked out the spec, I guess it's not all bad. Infact the spec is quite impressive IMO, and great geo, vaguely similar to an ashton infact! (375mm chainstays instead of 380 though, and 1060 wb instead of 1055 or whatever the ashton is) I wonder what their "cassette hub" is though, and if its any good...

Ditto. I used to have to see a chyropractor for intensive treatment 4 times a week at £25 a session for months due to "permanent" back injuries caused by trials. I have pretty much got over that now, the chyro treatment worked a miracle (altho it did empty my parents bank account). Since two months ago however I have a very serious wrist condition brought on from aggressive sidehops, and have some hefty scar tissue in my tendons meaning I would have had about 4 months out by the time its healed . I always got wrist and finger pains through, but those are only flesh wounds! Wear shinpads, and let some calluses build up!

Ok, so now I'm the one getting ipod trouble.. I think this is all caused by me sometimes pulling the cable out betwen it and PC when it still says "do not disconnect", but I dunno. A few days ago, my mate went to watch some trials vids on my ipod and went to movies and they had all disappeared! So he told me, and that was the first of the problem that I had, but I thought I'd just sort it out when I had some free time later, and it didint really bother me too much. Tonight though, I was walking back from the gym, went to put on some music, and WTF, I had no music at all!! So now theres no music or videos. The weird thing is: IT STILL THINKS ITS FULL of music, e.g. if I plug it inot computer, it won't put music on it, because it still thinks its full. So I dunno what to do.. Advice please? Scott

Lmao. Awesome. In that case, why not just open up both bolts, put one end in a big bucket of water, suck for ages until you are bloated, then use the listerine and do the bolts up. Sorted.

I've got an amp guitar and lead already, so I'm just selling me Les Paul and buying another guitar. Ideally spending about the same as I sell my Les Paul for really, I just want a change to get me into guitaring again. So probs around (hopefully under) £100 for a guitar on ebay.

Thats a pretty cool way to bleed, however, don't you get the odd trace of toxic maggy oil in ur mouth?

I'll be 28, working a high-paid yet incredibly boring job as an actuary, in London or USA somehwere. I wonder if there will be any hot chicks I'll be working with.. I doubt it though, they'll all be maths geeks more likely.

Btw, did u mean shec, spelt that way? Cos I found 0 results on ebay, and nothing much on google either...?
-
Awesome, I'll check out both of those two makes mentioned, too. Cheers! Btw, I'm a newbie to guitars- what dou people mean when they say "put an SD on it"? Seymour Duncan pickups? And how much do they tend to cost?
-
Cheers for all the advice, I'm considering perhaps a Cort X2, or X6 or something off ebay instead What do u think?

Lmao. Platinium Pro Zombie, colour: Tombstone I sense some kind of morbidity in the description

Cool. Have you played any other guitars? And how do they compare? Which one is it btw? E.g. Purple Acrylic Strat copy or whatever

Personally I disagree with all of the above, but then I would.. I bleed my magura without taking anything off the bike (other than the bolts which block the ends of the system of course), I just dip the whole end of my hadlebar in a big bucket of water, so that it is submerged past the brake, undo bolt underwater, pump lever, put thumb over hole for 1s while the system sucks in more water, repeat a couple of dozen times, then do up both bolts (I sometimes even just leave it there, if I can get the bucket much higher than the back brake, as water slowly seeps through the system on its own, bleeding itself). I always get a perfect bleed from that, no lever squidgyness for me, plus its free and only takes 5 mins!

Have you or any mates had any experiences with them? What did you/they find of their guitars? (I'm into electrics in particular) Scott

Cheers for the comments Haz. I'm in two minds now from what I've heard. Don't wanna fill up this thread though, so I'll start another.

I woke up, but had a bit of morning glory. So I had a 14 hour wank, then logged on here and posted this

Cheers for the help guys. Mark- I normally just used to practice on my own, learning metallica riffs, or stairway to heaven intro, or stuff liek that, but it just really put me off (other than the awkward hand posture contributing) that it seemed that however long I practiced for, I wasn't getting "the feel" for the guitar, and I ALWAYS produced a buzz when I played anything other than insanely ridiculously slow, from not pinning the frets perfectly, however hard I tried to concentrate. I think my strings need replacing now, but I'd rather just sell my guitar and start afresh. I was looking at wesley guitars in particular because reviews for all of their recent guitars are absolutely amasing, and a few of my mates have their guitars and are really majorly impressed by their value (I don't wanna spend much, incase I don't get into guitaring properly, and besides I dont have much money). Haha, the only mate I have who isn't bumming Wesley is called Haz- is ur name short for Hazim? He has a Wesley as one of his guitars, and thinks its amasing, strangely, but thinks it is just "lucky" of him to get a good guitar from them, as he seems to have some sort of grudge against the make. What puts you off Wesley? Have you ever played one? And was it electric or acoustic, old or new?

Looks beautiful. Since this topic has attracted the guitar crew, can someone give me some advice (sorry for it being off topic). I've had a Les Paul replica for the last year and a bit, which I bought off a mate, but never learnt anything properly on it because I can't take it serious enough to sit down for hours on end playing, or I loose inspiration to play. I think it is mainly because it's a real downer on my playing morale how I can never fret cleanly, and always produce a buzzing, plus I find to grip the neck in the correct way with my thumb in the middle of the back, my left hand/arm posture is really awkward, sorta like I have to twist my hand further around the guitar than most people get away with. Also, (I think because my guitar is second hand and old) the fretboard feels nowhere near as nice on the fingers as some of my mate's nice guitars have felt when I've had a play. I really wanna find the inspiration to learn, but I think I can only do that with a bit of help to get over these things... Do you think buying something really different with bags of space to move hands around on, like this: http://images.marketworks.com/fullView.asp...0yl_gallery.jpg Might help? P.s. What do you think of this? http://images.marketworks.com/fullView.asp.../meg20wh_02.jpg

Half of the people here are misinterpreting the wording- the plane is MOVING, and therefore will have it's lift from the wings, the only difference is that it will be travelling past conveyor belt at twice the rate that it is moving RELATIVE TO THE GROUND There's no need to even acknowledge friction or anything for the purpose of the question, as we are not making this situation for real or anything (you could include loads of other factors in that case, such as increased air restance on the plane, because of the friction between the conveyor belt and air causing air to travel backwards relative to the ground, and causing its own virtual wind)- it WILL take off.

That was a thing of beauty. Long hail trials kings, still alive!
