  1. minus the cranks and the stem those bikes look sooo nice. How does it ride?
  2. I never said anything about static
  3. Scotty Cranmer did it on a bmx aages ago. but he had a run up and like hopped into it EDIT: VIDEO
  4. This is an evolution of the riding that got me on a bike all those years ago when the trials kings were at large. If people like CLS, Nezzer and Danny Foster hadn't gone massive with "TGS" stuff then this is how everyone would still be riding on the streets. And even back then "TGS" riders threw in stuff like X-ups, squeakers and can-cans to make stuff look cooler.
  5. Went in my local CEX about 2 days after they came out and they'd had about 30 traded in 'cause everyones saying it sucks :/ Brother had a go on one and said they were really un-responsive :/
  6. Its because they put so much time and effort into the filming/editing that makes the video so great. The fact that most people only think about the size of the riding and put no effort into the film making that makes 99% of trials videos shit.
  7. Absolutely F**king brilliant! Loved every second of it. Just wow...
  8. 1min28secs = beaut loved it! can't wait for red bull vid!
  9. Just played online so far. really really good stuff! gamertag: tomtrials
  10. I was going go get a laptop for doing paperwork, maybe playing a few games (Grim Fandango and World of Warcraft), surfing the net watching HD video (from Vimeo, stuff I film on my 7D) and quickly checking photographs/video when i'm out with my camera, but after putting my mates laptop in my camera bag and carrying it round for a while I quickly decided its going to be wayyy to heavy for a day to day thing. So it came to netbooks. I've borrowed my dads which he got from work (Samsung NC10) and its ok... only really browsed the net on it and used word once but its ok. bit slow but I don't really know what to expect speed-wise from them yet. What I basically want to know is Am I expecting too much for a netbook to handle all of this? Who on here has a netbook? (especially photographers, designers, film makers) and whats your opinion on how useful they are What brands/models should I be looking for? Don't really want to spend more than £300 ideally. cheers

    Films!?

Angel.A La Haine Amelie All French with with subtitles. Great stories though and shot really well.
  12. BOOM Dunno if it'll fit your camera but this is the fisheye you want.
  13. Mint stuff can't wait for the full vid! If people want TGS riders to get into the limelight then big riders like Damon really need to get their fingers out with the quality of their videos (production not riding.) Its not hard to find a rider who's into filming/photography.
  14. usually just taking the lever blade off and twatting it on the floor works for me makes it a bit looser so you can unscrew it
  15. bike phone tree Some pics I took on my iphone4. massivly better than the older models in my opinion.
  16. Go for the iphone 4. Its deffinatly faster than the older models, the camera is much better, in your hand it feels nicer. Also the iPhone4 will obviously hold its value longer cause its the latest model. £100 is nothing really considering your going to have it for 18/24 months.
  17. Twitter have had it on their iphone app for aaaaages now and they've now got it on web twitter too. My biggest concern is that if you plot something on the map you can't delete it yourself, you have to report it as like spam. I put my house on thinking it would just post up "Tom is, in his house" on my facebook feed. It did do that but its also put it on the "nearby places" part so anyone with an iphone within about a 3 mile radius can see my address etc. FML
  18. Jet packs for the win!
  19. Just heading out to buy it now Got a few games to trade in so it won't cost me too much hopefully Gamertag: tomtrials
  20. Cheers for the comments we'll hopefully be making a longer vid soon!

    Quick Edit

Vimeo Video -> Original Video Just a quick edit really. I've had my 7D for a while now but i've not had much chance to get video on it. Filmed in one afternoon testing a couple of lenses out. As usual its better viewed on the actual site rather than the embeded one.
  22. Noticed this on Youtube so thought i'd post it up. Pretty beasty riding!
  23. what an old school legend still got really beasty skills.
