I used to be able to do 3 sets of 9 press-ups about a month ago, but doing them every other day and building them up with what I can cope, I can do 3 sets of 25 now, sometimes 30.

Got my test in a month, will have done about 30 hours which is around average really. My instructor gave me a mock test last week and I only got 3 minors. Just takes concentration and planning/thinking ahead. I find it a lot better if,before you go out, you think about it, how you're going to drive, the order in which you take precautions when coming to roundabouts/junctions, like what gear you're going to need etc. Does help a lot.

Practice a hobby? I always find myself playing my guitar along to tunes off my comp. and CDs. If i'm bored I always eat, which isn't too goood!

Couldn't understand too well what you're trying to say, but anyway I would leave it. Make her understand that's the way it is, and make her understand that's the way you are... She will get used to it. If you say 'Sorry I was shit', next time the same could happen and she would think you're always shit, or think 'I wonder when it will be good...'.
