The cleaner frame looks quite nice in reality, despite what i initially thought of it in the pictures i changed my mind when i saw it in the flesh. They're beginner bikes... whats the problem? If they came as frame only i'd be very inclined to look at picking up a cleaner frame as i know it'd be fairly priced, long lasting and with a good warranty/breakage scheme. Surely thats something new riders want? The amount of parts i broke when i started was ridiculous, now i've gotten better and have better parts they don't break as much. If your continuously breaking parts its better to have a half price replacement policy than have to splash out full price again. I know someone who started riding on a monty, then before he could pedal hop had it changed to a fresh products 24" frame with kings everywhere.

Sounds like he's only seen up until the last episode in season one. Shame his prediction about sylar was completely and utterly wrong. Apparently, the writers strike has set back filming of series 3, sylar wasn't going to be in it because he's shooting film footage for something but now the series has been set back he can do the filming for it and they've written his character back in. Apparently its going to have a group of villains emerge and find each other, in the same way the group of heroes has done... which could lead to some rather interesting fights.

Well the little mini acer one is about the same spec as you've just listed. Theres very little difference in the processors. So it still applies. The spec of the second one is better, the dual core processor would be more fitting for a vista based pc than an old single core one. I'd go for the second pc unit with this screen

Did you try using a patch on the game? The sad fact of the matter with pc gaming is its very rare that an old game will just work on a new computer. Due to the range of parts, drivers and operating systems available there is a lot of different factors that can cause a conflict. The way to overcome these is to release the game, then release patches that address the problems that some people have. Patching a game might be mundane, but its part and parcel of pc gaming. Vista is also coming up towards xp on performance in games now, with the difference being 4-5fps and in some cases it runs faster. DX10 is one of the big features of vista, but until games are coded for dx10 and not coded for dx9 with a few dx10 features added on, we won't see the benefits of the new coding standard.

The 256mb 7600gs would fit perfectly in with that system, giving you a well balanced system capable of playing most current and upcoming titles with high settings on that monitor. The 512mb of ram would be wasted with that monitor, its only really needed at resolutions of 1680x1200 and upwards, the 19" one is 1440x900 so 256mb will be more than enough.

This one is pretty good value for your money, i'd definately buy this over other cards at the same sort of price range. If you can stretch out another £5 the 256mb version would be better. What exactly do you need the 512mb of video ram for? If its because someone told you to get the most ram you can then don't make it a priority if the card is as cheap as this. You'd be better off with a faster card with lower ram than a slower one with more ram, because the slower can't might be able to load up bigger textures etc, but it won't be able to process them as fast so it kind of cancels it out. If you have the faster card it might need to access the textures more often, but it will be able to process them faster so it should give you a faster image. Nope, it isn't look here, the 7600gs floors it, being nearly twice as fast despite half the memory

Actually, decent ram is at its cheapest right now and for 2gb of ram you'd be looking at spending £30-35. For 4gb you'd be looking at around £65-70. So they got a low spec computer and wondered why vista performed slower? Vista needs more ram than that if your going to be doing tests/gaming on it. 2gb minimum... because it allocates ram in a different way to xp (not because it uses it up by running vista itself). In theory, with 2gb of ram, vista should be faster than xp because it will prefetch all the things you'd be likely to do in your office program so it can load them up faster, as opposed to xp's ancient method of click it then load it into the ram. At the end of the day, if you've got a decent computer and don't game on it and by game i mean buy the latest titles like crysis and expect to play them at full settings rather than all the people who claim to be gamers but try running their games at the lowest possible settings on a museum piece of a pc, then buy vista. Theres tonnes more features in it that vastly improve it over xp and the people who still advise you not to get it aren't helping you in the slightest, and are usually only saying it because they're set in their ways/too scared to welcome change. If you have a 3ghz single core processor or a dual core one, over 1gb of ram then go for vista. If its less than that, stick with xp and look at getting vista when you get a new computer.

Canon 400D, but i'm paying for a lot of it as its very expensive. I daren't ask for anything else as it'd be far too cheeky. Though my parents will probably get me a tin of quality street, they seem to do that every year and we all sit down put some movies on and munch out on some chocolate before xmas dinner . I'll be able to take lots of photo's of it this year too

Some pretty good riding there... but these front gaps down don't look right, they look wrong and almost painful. Other than that though, pretty damn good. I'm sure theres lots of people that are envious of such an ability.
