Yeah, i was wondering that too, its like they see each other and theres like a brief pause and they just carry on introducing themselves... bit weird that.

They won't properly fight though, peter's too nice he'll just step out the way or something. I can't wait for sylar to get his powers back and have a monster-mahoosive fight with peter... should be f**king brilliant!

The problem with games like this is they're designed for consoles, then someone like EA decides to make it available for the pc as well, so they get some absolute tit to optimize it so badly it barely runs at all. A large majority of games still have large bugs in them... my colin mcrae dirt for the pc tells me i can go on xbox live with it

Yeah, apparantly its a bitch to play it on older hardware, but a core2duo 2gb of ram and something faster than a 7800gt should manage it alright.

What the hell is going on? Theres loads of dates flying around. Theres a high chance i could make it on the 15th, and maybe i might come again on the 29th if thats actually one of the days.... should be a laugh.

If the above doesn't work try changing the channel the wireless signal is based on. By changing the channel your using a different frequency.. and as you have an excellent connection that keeps getting cut off theres a strong chance it could be another device thats interfering with it. Changing the channel should be as easy as logging into the router and changing the channel number and saving the changes. If that doesn't work note whats going on when you lose the signal, have you fired up a piece of software? Did someone switch on the microwave? Did a lorry drive past the house etc. If nothing obvious crops up then try giving the netgear helpline a ring, the number is on the back of the modem and they're usually quite quick with sorting things out and seem pretty capable of reading the generic solutions of the computer screen in front of them as they're on the phone to you.

Looks pretty good mate, i guess you know to keep checking it as you ride it though... i made a box a while ago that i thought was bombproof but without checking it at all in like a year, it all fell down one day (which could have hurt ).

Weight Training... Thread Number 2...
Krisboats replied to downhill_rob2@hotmail.com's topic in Chit Chat
Ha ha, woah there... i wasn't doing any reps like that, i had far more swing to it, it took about a minute and a half to lift it all the way up and i leaned back and used a bit of shoulder swinging to get it past the point of having to use my bicep. I didn't even bother with the downwards motion... more sort of still grasped the handle as gravity pulled it back down to the floor (which it hit really hard) Its nothing impressive really, just one of those things i like to elaborate on "i lifted a 55kg dumbell in a bicep curl" sounds great on its own... but the sad truth is it was more of a "i bet you can't lift that, but i'll give you a £2 if you do" sort of things. Never again have i done anything close to being that heavy and i thought my arm was going to snap, so i won't be trying it anytime soon. -
Theres a fair few players who like to make a big song and dance about nothing. There was a match the other week with the goalkeeper getting hit in the face by a fan who ran across the pitch and tapped him round the face/neck... the keeper turned round, came to some sort of realization (probably that he'd get money for a story or could sue him for GBH), then proceeded to throw himself on the floor as if the guy hitting him had done it, there were medics called over and everything. Its that exact kind of mentality of trying to get away with receiving a minor hit and making such a big deal out of it when they could easily continue playing. I'm not trying to do the whole rugby vs football matcho comparison here but there was a rugby match on tv the other night and a player jogged to the side of the pitch to a medic and you could see the medic grab his finger and try and put it back in the socket. I didn't see him lying on the floor, i didn't see him complaining to the ref and he never got stretchered off... its just a completely different mindset, and thats something thats earned football a reputation with a lot of people who think they're just a bunch of over payed pansies who run around and throw themselves on the floor at any given opportunity*. I'm not up for the whole rugby vs football debate either, rugby matches generally hold my interest for longer than football ones (although a lot of the time it still isn't till the end of the match) but i'm not a die-hard rugby fan myself. *I'm not stating that as being factual, or even my opinion (which you missed earlier in the thread and made a big deal of), its just common knowledge that its the way football is seen by a certain percentage of people.

Tucking to the side on high jumps is really difficult though and can throw your balance off quite easily, looks pretty good as it is mate. You'll be learning to physically jump high with a high jump style obstacle as well because you can't be lazy and use the wall for some extra tucking height.

When i said i managed to lift 55kg it was with a single dumbell, with some piss poor technique that resembled something more along the lines of trying to hurl a discuss. Now i'm doing it slower and more controlled with a proper technique its at a normal 22-25'ish depending on how i feel. -
They shut the channel down over a month ago now. Its never coming back.

Try and get hold of some dumbbells from somewhere like argos, they're very versatile and can be used to train a wider variety of muscle groups than a single specific piece of gym equipment. Don't go for the grey plasticy ones.... spend the little bit extra and get cast iron ones, if you decide to buy more weights in the future the iron ones are much better to work with as they're physically smaller than the plastic ones at the same weight, so you can fit more on etc. For pull ups... find a tree branch? -
Sorry i didn't come out today, had far too much to drink last night and ended up going to bed at 7 this morning. Needless to say i was far too tired for riding. Pics look good though, everything in bunny works looks so small in photos

Weight Training... Thread Number 2...

Yeah my technique was all wrong, i got shown how to do it properly and i'm doing curls of about 22-25kg at the minute, although sometimes its lower sometimes its higher depending on how much sleep and food i've eaten recently. Better technique definately feels nicer than more weight with ridiculous technique. -
My signal on my house roof arial was the same, buying a digital specific tv cable and mounting an aerial in the loft sorted the problem completely. Even if your only using a cheap indoor aerial the shielded digital cables make A LOT of difference. Those plug in signal amplifiers sometimes work as well, but be aware that if your already subject to noise in the signal (distortion and break up when mopeds etc drive past) it will amplify that as well so the signal overall is improved but you'll still see break up and for fractionally longer than without the booster.

Yep, unless you can get something from the business range, theres far cheaper options out there. I'd say get it in bits and let your dad build it, I had a quick look yesterday and you can get: Intel E2180 2GB RAM Gigabyte DS3R motherboard Western Digital Caviar 500GB SATA hard drive 7600gs Gfx Card Enermax PSU Cheapy computer case Any dvdRW drive (they're all around £15-20) You can pick up a random flatscreen from local shops nowadays for around £80 so that brings you to just about where your budget lies, and that computer will be pretty damn good.

Another pretty damn good point.

I take it you read the bit underneath it that was hidden? Used to be the defender on the high school football team Still found it boring, and quit after a few weeks. I'll play randomly with friends, but thats just a game... following it as a sport doesn't appeal at all, hence me stating that in my opinion.... its a shit sport.
