  1. Hello and welcome. I reckon a couple more posts like that and you'll be in with us members in no time, plenty of opportunities to buy nice mod frames I'm sure it wont take long but the main places to buy parts nowadays are tartybikes and selectbikes
  2. Oh my god, please tell me you've not done it again pete. Besides you've posted up a picture of the car built up and about to launch... i don't think their going to need any help from you if they've already got this far themselves.... Unless.... The person that took the pictures immediately put them together into an email, found your address then sent it off to you and hoped you'd be able to find a way of getting there before the rocket was any higher off the floor than it was in the take off picture, i'd estimate at being about 50-90 seconds, just so you can come down and give an input on the design and propulsion of this already completed craft. Unless thats too simple for one of your stories and the engineers made up a time machine from an old ford escort in an attempt to get you back for before the launch to input your ideas into the development, whilst being able to utilize the time machine for a later episode, which somehow your going to be credited/involved with building as well.
  3. Here you go dan I didn't think the rims looked pink enough, plus fluoro is the only pink really so i went and fluoro'd them.
  4. Nearly but you forgot the black forks The text is shocking to say the least.
  5. Eh? You do get the concept of a night ride dont you? Come out for around 10.00-11.00 at night and ride till 6-7 the next morning.
  6. Maybe someone keeps putting it on there, brother, sister etc. Go downstairs explain and see who starts laughing first, thats probably your culprit. Either that or maybe your guitars a bit sad and felt like crying.
  7. I know Martin Ashton used to run raceface cranks, but i don't know if he does anymore.
  8. Make sure its reasonably tight before you do any gapping from the back wheel. I tried with jonnys and was suprised by just how much further it kept tightening as i tried to gap... kind of gave the same effect as the chain snapping. Sit with the brake nearly fully on and try and pedal around, then do little gaps to tighten it properly.
  9. That was a joke right? He's not actually done anything wrong. He's taken a video thats freely available in the public domain, re-arranged it, and re-distibuted it FREELY while crediting the rider.
  10. Good old forum traditions. Random person "oh my god my m8 snapped his zoo barz" Everyone else "zoo bars are shit! dont buy them their shit, blame deng!"
  11. When i tried this with a bmx i found that due to having the front end a lot higher the balance point was crap. I mean REALLY crap. normal balance point on the back wheel was with the front wheel only a few inches off the floor.
  12. Put your pads in a bit more and wind the tpa up a bit. Personally i reckon its just because you don't have a good enough booster. My echo chontrol 4 bolt booster gives my RB lever a ver definitive biting point, and if anything my old magura lever was spongier. EDIT: didnt read that the pads were already in. Buy a better booster.
  13. The riding places in leicester are scattered around the town centre, not actually in it. Practically every place is lit up with street lights too as far as i can remember from riding in the dark there last time. And all the piss-heads will stick to the centre of town as all the pubs, bars and clubs are in the centre. It'll be generally quiet too. Can anyone make it to an all night ride this weekend or will it have to be the next one? I'm available for either if that helps
  14. Its age doesnt determine its strength, least not within a couple of years anyway. And to say its weaker because its out of production... well why do you think its out of production? Because it was flawed and kept braking So when ash says the alibongo is stronger is because yes they might well snap, but there isn't a design mistake that has caused them all to snap, unlike the pure. I think the old echo pures were pretty tough though weren't they?
  15. Or run around in a figure of 8 shape with your arms stuck out like little kids do when their pretending to be aeroplanes while making a noise like a car alarm and shouting c**t every few seconds. That'll confuse them so much they'll leave you alone for sure
  16. I'm so glad someone else agrees with me, i was beginning to question whether i was right or not I might bleed a brake entirely with anti freeze, see how long it lasts, then we'll know for sure whether its as corrosive as people make out. I personally reckon it'd f**k the brake up a bit after 3-4 months, maybe longer.
  17. The quality of the image was quite low so there are certain green artifacts in amongst the gold but you get the idea. And please excuse the untidy edges on the front wheel, i only did it quickly in a couple of minutes so the edges are quite straight. 30 Day free trial on the photoshop website.
  18. Get your grinder, set it spinning and hold the pads on the side of the disc (the large flat bit not the point) and ensure they are both perfectly flat. Then re-set them up and it should be alright again. Also make sure your brake mounts are tightly fastened to stop the caliper sliding and moving around, altering the performance.
  19. I would guess he means a small, backstreet, indian/pakistani owned mobile phone unlocking establishment.
  20. Ha ha, i have no spellchecker lmao. Ah well, never really used it often anyway. I guess i'll be up for a full night ride, maybe a friday though? Most 24/7 supermarkets/shops close on a saturday night so there'd be no food for like 6 hours till mcdonalds open for breakfast.
  21. I wouldn't because even if you do decide to take the money the situation becomes ironically frustrating. With £1million you would change your lifestyle, you'd have flashier gear, splash out on more stuff, attend more parties... lead a luxurious life for a while.... downside to this is with this kind of lifestyle your recently acquired money would in fact attract a shit load of girls, to which you not allowed sex with any more. That frustration would drive me mad so i'd go with the sex anyday.
  22. It was a good guide for what you did cover, but the fact you left out using layers was a BIG mistake. Especially if you want to change the colour of each of your selected components quickly and easily. Using your method you'd have to start from scratch each time because the more you alter the hue/s and saturation then change it again in a minutes time the further away from a realistic colour the image becomes. Once you have the parts fully selected i would advise to copy them onto a new layer using the Ctrl+C then paste them down... having the selection boundries also pastes it in exactly the same place. Copy this layer so you have a backup then anytime you want to try a different colour you can refer to your backup to ensure more defined and vivid colours. It also lets you do them at the same time by just changing the hue/saturation of the entire layer, making an entire colour change into about a 10 second task.
  23. Split links replace a single link in the chain, usually the larger links in between each small one. Half links replace BOTH a large and small link.
  24. Split links a link that can be undone to easily undo the chain without the need for a chain tool. Half link is a single link that removes the need to take both the small and large sections (two effective links worth) of chain and has one large end and one small.
  25. Sorry hadn't realised i had... i'll change it now :$
