I've been enjoying the sniping aspect of it very much. I wouldn't say i'm especially good at it and never really played much of COD4 so i'm not a hardened sniper but i'm consistently top 3 places, especially in the afghan and town maps. Just need to go up some levels now so i can get the nicer looking guns than the .50 Cal (which is pretty much fully upgraded now )

I normally use prime 95 for about 20 minutes to see its maximum temperature and go with that. It's only 8 hours to see if it's stable under a long duration without crashing or restarting not to get a high temperature reading.

No worries about not joining, i was having a blast unlocking new things for my sniper rifle Switched from getting solid third places with the .50 cal earlier though to a quick session with the scar and i came first by a mile. Seems i'm in the wrong line of weaponry

Yeah i do like the special ops sections of the game. Adds quite a bit more in terms of longevity. With regards to a clan, t-f clan something up? Is it worth creating a pseudo clan? It works by creating a gamertag for the clan, then adding everyone as a friend and making the friends list public- that way you can add everyone without having to type it in manually.

Well i think most people generally go like this... "ooh, a new game, lets try single player." "oh i'm bored/done, multiplayer time." "resume single player in a bit" Thats very much how i work. I find it rather bizarre that there's people online even still who are ranked almost to the highest point possible on halo yet when you look in their single player records they've not even completed the game once. What's the point in buying a game and not exploring all it's features?

Given that there's a 17 odd page jumped up on hotukdeals about it and that everyone's been ringing up the local stores to inquire it seems pretty clear that its one copy per customer. Looks like the website i bought from couldn't cope with the masses of orders as they tried to pricematch sainsburys so they just cancelled everybodies orders and put it down to a "pricing error"

Just ordered a copy of modern warfare for the 360 from coolshop.co.uk for the princely sum of £26 just in case there's none left in sainsburys when i get there tomorrow morning.

Yeah, apparently it's common for a chunk of bone to be pulled off where the tendon is attached to it. Quite a common injury in baseball from missed catches as the ball hits the finger it puts too much force on it and the tendon or surrounding bone will break. -
I used to add people, but then shucksmith added me and every time i go on it now my main page is covered by her every 10 mins in updates about how her life is going. Deleted her today coincidentally as i don't really care to be honest

Not gonna happen. Projectors work in the same way as a printer does in that they don't produce white in the normal sense. They beam high output light onto the surface and use the surfaces main colour as the white level. If your using a cream/yellow wall your whites will have a yellow tint. Plus there are all the other problems of wall surface evenness ruining your perceived immersion, reflectivity issues etc. A dedicated screen is far superior to a yellow wall.

I did a little research into it a while ago as we were looking at getting one for our house. What i would advise is where most people seem to fall down for home cinema if they haven't looked into it properly and that's the colour of the backdrop that you'll be projecting it onto. Normal projectors for office use generally won't be too bothered about good colour levels. Instead high contrast and visibility is needed for the all important information so it was standard practise to use white screens. Watching movies is a whole different ball game though and colour levels are quite important. As such a white background for a projected image isn't the best option like most people seem to think it is from what they've seen of projector use in the past. The colour you'll be wanting is light grey to improve black levels and if you can find some cheap, an aluminium flake paint to improve the white levels in combination with the grey. If you use white you'll more than likely find washed out blacks and overly bright white's to the point where they can be uncomfortable to look at. A 2-4 inch thick matt black border round the outside should finish it off very nicely in terms of any overspill with the projector light too. Here's a nice little piece on it on wiki if you're really that bored.

It's pretty nice, i have the ultimate 64 version and it's all sailing through fairly well. It was a little slow at first but then i'd got vista pretty nicely configured and everything was settled in the vista superfetch. Once windows 7 had been going for about 2 days everything flies into action as soon as i click it and generally overall it seems a lot sturdier and more reliable. Winamp seems to load a tonne faster in windows 7 where as before in vista it would pause for a minute while it loaded up the several thousand flac files i have running in it. Seems not to be an issue for w7. The UAC thing is a lot more sensible in w7. I had to disable it while running vista as it would pop up for every little thing and would bug the hell out of me. In w7 it seems to only come up at the correct times and as such i've left it running as it's theoretically a lot safer than switching it off. W7 is also the first windows operating system to feature a moving windows logo on the start up screen if memory serves me correctly Also in a folder window the navigation bar on the left hand side seems a lot nicer and easier to read through than it has been in other operating systems. It's no longer clumped together with scroll wheels everywhere and it seemed like i noticed it for the first time when i started using w7. The start menu also seems a lot more refined with web browsing history been shown as a hover-over feature with the messaging/web browser programs that are nailed to the start menu. I like it more

You can, show me a picture of the disc with all it's holographic centred glory with you/your username in the picture and you can talk about it as much as you want. If you can't i'll presume you just downloaded it illegally from the yanks and as such you aren't allowed to talk about it. It's only fair really, if your breaking the law to get its not fair for you to come on here gloating about how your already playing it while everyone else waits until release day.
-
Post a picture of the case of your new game along with your username and you can talk about it. If not... wait until UK release day.

Why do people who wear those muscle suit things never realise they look like twats?

That's a very severe break there as most peopel tend to break it on the top of the finger not the bottom. I did something practically identical to my little finger (mallet finger deformity) and it's taken roughly 3 times the estimated 6-8 weeks before i can bend it without pain and i still have limited control/strength with it now. Hope yours recovers faster than that. Have they stuck you in a finger splint for that one too? -

I do get it, she's under age for alcohol and illegal drugs are illegal. It's not legal'ish in any way shape or form as has been said. But thanks for the underlying insult regarding my level of intelligence, means a lot when you use too many commas in the wrong places to put the point across -

My house is number 42 if you want to stick it right outside The one on the end of the row of houses

The carillon multi story car park is free all day sunday, sainsbury's is 3 hours max i think and the car park opposite sainsburys (the one for currys, kfc etc) is £1 for all day on sunday I THINK. Parking outside my house is free all day too, LE11 2EH for sat nav guidance etc. The carillon is just down the road from sainsburys and the entrance to the carillon car park is facing sainsburys so won't be too hard to find. My mobile number is 07889133261, i'll definately be there as i have my new chain and new rear cog as well as a fresh grind and nice straight pads so i'll be looking to throw the bike around quite a lot tomorrow

Hopefully all over the place, round town, uni, college etc. Nice to know there's a rider in my old hometown of syston. There's some really good stuff in syston to just casually mess about on.
