  1. Looks good, though i'd probably make the link to onza in the bio section not nearly invisible.
  2. Yep, i'm there. Will have to source a tent though.... Also, will there be anything nearby/going on for the mrs to do while we're there?
  3. Funny you should ask this. Over the past couple of weeks i've got the bike out again after 2-3 months of no use and i've been getting a similar thing in the knee on my forward foot leg. It hurts while crouching and is rather unbearable in that i usually end up on the floor while trying. It seems to settle after a few days to the point where i no longer notice it but it has been worrying me slightly. I've been riding for a long time up until now so it's either that it's caused long term damage and i'll always suffer from this or my body is finding it hard to adjust to riding again after the break and i've injured my knee somehow.
  4. I wouldn't go as far as to narrow it down to just the primark thing myself.
  5. Also if you do bolt first then clamp as you tighten the clamp it'll be pulling on the bolt and will be likely to rip your thread out your frame on the one remaining good bolt.
  6. Hannah shucksmith for PERMABAN! Because that shit just 'aint funny.
  7. Famous rulers and funny fish
  8. That was my stupid idea and it stemmed from me wanting to change my picture but being the indecisive soul i am i asked for help. A few ideas were thrown up and then before we know it everyone's changing them at the same time and to the same theme. It was never intended as being a "them and us" thing at all. I don't really see the relevance of it to be honest, there's nothing stopping people in full members making a similar topic and theres nothing to stop other members joining the theme (which has happened severa, times). Thats like the only topic in SM chat though that could be introduced into chit chat without it exposing details of the inner workings of the forum or being irrelevant to the rest of the members. You said yourself: We've told you the important things are introduced into the main forum for discussion and you're still not happy, completely contradicting what you wrote. I think the bold text is showing the real issue here, and unfortunately jealousy on your end is something I can't fix.
  9. SM's can delete their own posts and whilst i haven't tried it, deleting a starting post might result in the topic being deleted. It may also have been that someone saw a thread full of arguing and binned it. Deletion happens a lot all over the forum regardless of who starts it or who is involved and it depends on whoever does it at the time as to whether it's just a lock or a full delete. You may well be right, but i would have thought it more likely someone saw it and put a stop to it. The box in the living room would have to be invisible for that analogy and i'm gonna return with "out of sight, out of mind" There are a few small benefits but the main principle as far as i understand it is that an SM is determined based on contributory nature towards the forum, positive and helpful manner or both. If someone has been noted as being of such good character why shouldn't they have a couple of extra privileges? While some SM's might act disagreeably sometimes i think it's unfair to tar the whole group with the same brush, i certainly don't do the same with full members and new members and would like to think other people are open minded enough to see that stereotyping is an unneeded falsity.
  10. To be entirely honest with you and i don't mean this to be a personal attack of any sort but when i think "JT!" my mind jumps to several occasions where you've argued slightly too far over seemingly menial things and you seem to have moaned/bitched about the Senior members existence several times when these kind of topics pop up. Again, I can't stress enough how much this isn't a directed attack or anything, i'm just trying to say it how i see it. With that in mind i wouldn't be inclined to agree that your lack of SM status is entirely based on your level of respect. Given those sentences make me sound like i'm picking out faults for the sake of it i want you to know that I appreciate that you have been here for a long time and that you can put ideas into coherent text and you contribute to idea development well and that personally, i do respect you very much for that. The current SM choosing system is in place, probably won't change and takes a long time. New people do get added and there is a need for them and the separate forum they have access to. It does stike me however, that everyone here that is complaining are basing their opinions purely on speculation. Few people know what actually is in SM chat but it seems a lot of people are getting worked up over something they know nothing about. The fact is someone went to the effort of making the forums suggestions thread in SM chat and nobody has bothered in the main forums, to me that speaks volumes on its own that non-SM members probably aren't concerned with it or if they are then for the most part they're too lazy to start anything serious about it. Besides, what makes everyone think every suggestion that concerns the rest of the forum members isn't made a topic in chit chat? With decisions like new moderator functions/buttons being added/removed it would be largely irrelevant to include the rest of the forum as they won't know it's going on or they won't have access to it.
  11. Dude, is this for the shitty grey one? No offence but that car is such a pile inside i wouldn't worry about a slightly bent panel on the outside. I mean, you can't even lock your glovebox! Like suggested spray it satin marks won't show as easily on t. If it's bent so it won't stay popped out put a brace on the back? I've got loads of paint at home and i'm getting very good at finishing and sanding with rattle cans now so i can give you a hand with that no problem. I've got all the sand paper, cloths, cans, lacquer etc already and it'd only take a few days spread over a few weeks to do it ourselves.
  12. I'd be quite happy with a trials section in long eaton. It's only a little while on the train for me from loughborough.
  13. I had a go on this yesterday and although it was very short for me i felt very pleased with how quickly you could just pick up and play on it. Usually i need a while to get used to a bike before playing properly but this one was so easy it was unreal.
  14. A hope Pro 2 rear hub for the price:performance ratio. RB Brake lever CNC'd pad backings.
  15. There should only be an ever so slight difference in size with them. Get a sharp stanley knife and slice away the required amount of material a bit at a time (you can take away easier than adding) and keep trying them until they fit in snugly. And please be very careful with the knife, it's very easy to slip when cutting them and i have a nice slice up my middle finger from doing it yesterday when i wasn't paying much attention.

  17. I use a rear pro 2 trials on my dirt/downhill bike and although admittedly i haven't gotten round to doing anything extensive on it being the fair weather rider i am i have absolutely no lack of faith in it's ability to survive everything i throw at it. If it was a super duper sub 1g hub for the front with every possible little bit drilled out i'd be reluctant to use it but if it looks pretty decent i'd say go with it. It'll either die quite pathetically from repeated stress or you'll f**k up and kill it in one go, which would make it likely whatever part you use is likely to break.
  18. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=135915&view=findpost&p=1883041 This has been done before, and then done again twice after that. It actually works best if you add pictures of the riding spots into the location details so the image pops up as your looking at it. Though the introduction of google street view has probably trumped that idea for any locations located next to uk roads. It's the second link in the list of results when you search "riding spots maps"
  19. Anyone else got borderlands?
  20. You're the yank, not me. It links to loughborough?
  21. Depending on which turning you take at the end of my street my house either has a traffic cone or a giant yellow clothes rail blocking my front door Linky
  22. me and flipp are driving over to bens and josh's then finally over to steves and then we'll be heading off.
  23. The original playstation was released the same year you were born so i'd say you're closer to having just stepped off the pavement to be honest. I don't get why everyone's arguing... aside from the fact children like to boast and belittle others in an attempt to secure themselves socially. If we are going to turn this into a discussion can we at least look at it objectively? I'm talking actual differences between them as opposed to "why pay for online when it should be free". Why has nobody pointed out that the joysticks on the ps3 controllers are all floppy because they're only 2-axis as opposed to the 360's 3-axis ones? Why has nobody mentioned about where all the "live account" money goes to, with it especially NOT going towards dedicated servers in order to get rid of the p2p hosting system? The ps3 has had its fair share of issues, numerous consoles have had drive failures (i have a broken one upstairs) and there was the whole blue ray diode fiasco a while back. The 360 has a list of problems too, but in fairness the RROD is fixed for free and usually back within 1-2 weeks which is pretty damn good for a console RMA. At the end of the day they're both very similar and it's just a case of specific titles, which controller you prefer and whatever your mates have that dictate which one is better FOR YOU. Throw away comments on either one "sookin ma consol3's d!ck!" are just amounting to kids in the playground looking like t00ls because they're insecure.
