Every post from you had a link to that damn forum in it. Plugging of other forums is against the rules. No more linking to it.

Yeah, as has already been said, failing to read the guidelines then posting something against them doesn't get you any favours... even if you type in a larger size.

It doesn't quite work like that. The 4gb of ram won't run any faster than 2gb... that's a complete misconception. The RAM acts to allow the processor to have a greater bandwidth of data. Basically the information goes from your hard drive, to your ram then it gets fed to your processor. Getting faster RAM will give you a potential for a speed based bottleneck, but you'd need a god awful processor with really good RAM. Cleverly they stopped this possibility by introducing ddr2 and more recently ddr3, meaning your processor can be bottom of the range but it will not be holding anything else back too much. Having more RAM allows larger programs to run from the system memory which means you'll see an increase in system speed when using things like computer games and massive images in photoshop. The files can be fully loaded into the RAM ready for the processor to use without having to page information to your hard drive (hard drives are the slowest part of a computer system). If you've been fine with 512mb for all this time though i'd be inclined to say that 2gb of RAM will be plenty. I have 6gb myself and even with some heavily intensive applications going i'll still only use 2-3gb for 80% of the time i'm on the computer. Your choice of going for 5300 RAM though puzzles me slightly. I mean, your processor is supposed to be a celeron dual core yes? In which case it'll be good for RAM that's nice and fast to go with it. Unless your motherboard is specifically tied to a maximum speed of pc2-5300 then i'd go for some pc2-6400 or even pc2-8500 stuff to be honest. The cost increase isn't too much because RAM is cheap as anything these days, where as buying the slower stuff is just limiting yourself unnecessarily. The decent brand pc2-6400 stuff i've seen is usually cheaper than the slower stuff to be honest due to current popularity and competing manufacturers. The pc2-8500 stuff is just fractionally more and 2gb of that would set you back around £30. Download this and run it. It'll tell you the make and model of your motherboard (mainboard) and from there we can look at its maximum speed. It does yes, but if he's only got 512mb of ram there's no way he's running a 64 bit operating system as well.

Ha ha, just start getting up whenever you need to. Its the best way. Get up at whatever time you deem neccessary (9am should be fine) then keep doing it every day for 2 weeks. In the evenings as soon as you start feeling tired take a note of the time and thats how much sleep you need personally in order to be healthy whilst getting up at 9. Me personally, i need around 6-7 hours sleep to function well. Though at the minute i'm doing about 4-5 go sleep at 2 int morning, get up to get to work for 6, come home, f**k around all day, have an hours sleep on the sofa in the evening while i'm trying to watch a film or something then go to bed properly at 2 again.

I've heard of this before. If your wanting to do it you'll need to find an unused room at college to hide away in for 20 minutes. I've done something similar for a while but having an hour or so's sleep every 2-3 hours and it was f**king terrible at first. It royally f**ked up after a few nights of heavy drinking though but seeing as you don't, you'd be fine with it i reckon.

Have you tried setting it up properly with digital specific equipment? The amount of times i've been to peoples houses and offered to have a look at it for them after they complain about it being rubbish only to find that they are using ridiculously poor quality aerial cable, no signal booster box and its hooked up to the aerial on the house that was installed decades ago. A lot of the time the cabling doesn't even have any form of shielding, meaning its just a big long copper conductor for interference If thats the case, nip down to your local wilkinsons/b&q, pick up some shielded co-axial cable. Note it doesn't have to be expensive just ensure its at least got foil shielding, my upstairs run cost me all of £5 for 26 metres. Pick up some of the cable ends and then wire up an indoor aerial yourself. Fit a booster box as close to the aerial as you can get it in order to avoid boosting signal disturbances from the cable length as well then hook it all up and see how it fairs. My parents house was like this, a £5 mini indoor digital aerial, the cabling and a £2 booster box from argos stopped the pizza boy effect (distorted images from mopeds outside) and improved the signal from low to high on every channel and allowed around 6-7 more channels to be received. Total cost for a digital specific upgrade can be extremely effect for as little as £20. Obviously fitting a new aerial to the roof would be the preferred way of doing it but i'm not going to recommend that anyone go out with a pair of ladders and fit their own as it IS a dangerous job. Fitting a wall or loft aerial would be close in terms of performance though and much safer, but the cost of these aerials are more than a small indoor one (usually around £20 upwards).

I would imagine its nobodies seeing as there isn't one there.

A processor will never usually go below ambient room temperature but its quite common for them to sit just a few degrees higher. I'd imagine if it has something like intel speedstep enabled it'lll be running at a fraction of its full potential speed to conserve battery life so that'll drop the temps too. Either that or your temperature probe is misplaced/broken. Mine went as far down as 15 degrees over winter when the heating wasn't on so yeah, its normal.

Not really a problem for me. I can't see it being more than a few pounds to send via airmail. Its not like they're heavy.

They look very much like the tensile bubblegum pads as has already been stated. They're available from an overseas company to buy as a generic pad and they're one of the worst ones i've ever used.

If you can get the 203mm i can swap you mounts and rotor for my 185mm if thats any help? I've been looking for a slightly bigger one myself.

Chill out mate, not really helping anything is it? Tar runs out too quick, it's inconsistent, messy and just another thing that I'll probably lose while I'm out riding. For the sake of spending 2-3 minutes grinding my rim ready for a couple of months hassle free riding I get to skip spending 2 minutes reapplying tar to my rim ever hour or so during a ride. Having to bed it in so its even before i can ride without it either still slipping or failing to let go and then all i have to worry about losing is my nerve or my multitool.

I'd like more time to wield my weapon of love.

Gorilla. I get to sit around doing nothing much and everyone leaves me alone because i'm super strong.

New star trek trailer actually looks pretty damn good... i don't really like star trek usually. Wolverine looks good too, purely because i love marvel films and wolverine is awesome! The objective looked like it has a bit of promise though the whole horror/psych films don't really do it for me. Pandorum sounds like an okay plot. Though i do kind of liken it to event horizon so if its not as good as that (hard to beat i know) i can't help but feel i'll come away disappointed. Obviously revenge of the fallen because i always used to love transformers as a kid. I'll go see it for nostalgia alone but i really enjoyed the first bay remake so i'm looking forward to it quite a bit. Fast and the Furious 4 Is another one to watch. They can't butcher the series more than they did with number 2 and tokyo drift so i guess there's hope in the fact that it'll be better or at the very worst an overly serious comedy. Others.... Push, G.I. Joe, Knowing.

You are the only one to start throwing in random and petty remarks though. It is a pointless task, of course your going to have people telling you that. What did you expect? Besides, the majority of posts telling you that it was pointless backed it up with a reason... not just a petty dig. Muel told you how he has gone about it and that it worked that way for a certain amount of time and you reply with that post. Its "knowledge" by the way...

Despite all the complaining and constant swatting at them, they've only got me twice on my arm. Pretty chuffed to be honest.
