I'm only working on the assumption that it's got a t-pro component set. Like I said, if it's got a disk it's as good a deal as the t-mag - if not better. I never said shite bike (except the bit about the forks - I stand by that) - it's just when you compare the costs (to the customer) of the frames against each other it doesn't seem a good deal. It could be that the t-pro is horribly overpriced of course... In which case I'll be expecting my £80 refund in the post

er... [attachmentid=4457] I'm not having a go at onza/zona honest - I own a t-pro and I love it with all my fluffy little heart, I also like the way the frames cost half as much (or less) than the competition. It's just that going by the prices listed on supercycles website the complete zip is a shite deal ( assuming the component set is the same as the t-pro).

I'm not entirely convinced - it sounds like it's a zip frame with t-pro bits sold at £80 over the odds to me. the standard steel onza forks weigh about quarter of a ton and make bikes ride like cack - the stem and bars are ok but aren't all that pleasant or light. If it comes with a front disk, its on a par with the t-mag in terms of value - which is a pretty good deal. If it's got maggies all round, you're paying an extra £80 for a t-pro with a cheaper frame - which is a pretty shit deal. this is all speculation - and based on the premise that it's got the same component set as the standard t-pro/t-mag (cos theres no pictures on the website)

I may be stating the obvious ... don't just leave it

sounds like its made of plastic doesn't it ? given that they've already gone back to the drawing board once already it ought to work ok . - derf. they could do 72 EPs by adding pawls rather than teeth - like an eno. I hope thats what they did for biffs sake
-
indeed - congratulations and say goodbye to the blowjobs

Why the hell does nobody pay for XP ? It's only £90 for XP pro if you buy it with a system, hard drive, cpu or motherboard. A decent case costs more than that. Running without updates is silly - unless you like a machine where the holes aren't patched regularly - Which is probably where half XP's bad security rep comes from.

the cheap echo 4 bolt one fits and also works (with a creepy crawler)

we have a new leader. any advance on 36? On a vaguely related note, I'm told that theres a group of blokes somewhere around london who've picked up skateboards again in their mid 30s - they've called themselves Middle Age Shred - which tickled me
-
the zoo ones are groovy also. They're same sort of arrangement as the echo teams with a bit less CNC at the steerer junction - what tipped the balance for me over the echo teams was that they come in nice matt black finish and they cost £20 less.

squeakers and footjam tailwhips (if you've got enough front hose). no reason why you couldn't do a decade on the backwheel either
-
thats the second one with the forks on backwards I've seen recently. oddness

while dressed as the reverend ?

yeah - to be fair, Max is cack at CAD stuff. It has a lovely modeller, the animation tools are good enough, lots of choice in renderers but it's not something you'd want to use for product design - unless you're some sort of masochist

air compressor up the bunghole never fails

ooh, tempting anybody know where they're based ? why do shaven ravers never advertise for layout artists ?

I started old too (25, i'm 27 now) so I probably qualify - I can still get away with wearing shorts though. I think Lego wins the grandad prize but theres a fair number of old boys on here to share memories of the last century with. Have a look at trashzen.com for evidence of old men riding - Julien's nearly as old as Hans Rey

Ill just agree with everybody else. The lock-ons I've used are too thick - I've tried lizardskins and ODI and didn't get on with either. Also when you stack the bolts get mashed up and you cant get the buggers off or on properly anymore. Cheap, long, thin grips fixed on with hairspray are the way to go. Make sure your bars are clean before you put them on and they'll never move.

sweet and eloquently put. . It'll be no bloody different in ten years, it's no different now than it was ten - fifteen years ago when I was drinking on the street and vandalising public property. There will always be arseholes - whatever colour, background or political party. Human nature doesn't change

If you don't need the student loan avoid it like the plague. I only borrowed 2 1/2 grand and I'm still paying it off in dribs and drabs 5 years later cos the bitches make it virtually impossible to do anything but pay the minimum every month. I could have covered the whole thing within 6 months of leaving university but they wouldn't have it. Things have changed a bit since then because they got in a load of trouble for basically lying about the interest etc. but they're still extremely hard to get any information out of.
