  1. I have a Truvativ 73mm ISIS BB and trying to fit it into a fourplay frame (68mm). I have a 5mm spacer now, but the cup (non-driveside) sticks out quite a lot (around 10mm). I've put copper slip grease all over it, tightened it up as much as I can with a BB tool, but its fully tight. Should I buy a new BB / new cup, or is it OK to ride? Pics coming... Pics:
  2. Well, I've joined the Inspired 24" bandwagon! Have most of the parts, but going to get a front SD7 V brake, rear magura, king/pro 2 hub on back and middleburn RS7 cranks very soon.... Picked up the frame today, heres how she looks so far: Spec: Inspired Fourplay Frame Pashley Forks Hope Bulbs on Atomlab rims King Headset System Ex Stem Easton EA50 Bars Soon to have... Rear Magura hs33, Front SD7 V-Brake Maxxis High Roller rear tyre, CK / Hope Pro 2 rear hub Middleburn RS7 Cranks and Truvativ BB Will post another photo when she's finished!
  3. Thanks mate! Also, does anyone know the length of BB I need for a fourplay? I have a 128mm. Cheers!
  4. Hi all, I bought a fourplay frame today and only have a 73mm BB. I think theres a spacer you can buy for this? Does anyone know where i can get hold of one? Cheers
  5. Ahh nick was on about this, i'll need to check it out on ITV player
  6. Hahaha why are you getting so angry?? You arse hose
  7. I quit trials for 4 years because I got bored of it and just got back into it a few months ago on the same bike. Have to say, im loving it now! Regret quitting but I think its made me enjoy it more. I am bored of my bike though and instead of upgrading it i'm buying an inspired fourplay 24 to have alongside my echo control to keep it fresh!
  8. I loved my profile hub on my mod, back in the day!
  9. Id say get someone else to check it before saying its a complete loss. Ive had problems with bike shops when i first started trials, especially with maguras, and they can usually be bodged or fixed no problem. Or if not, someone on here must have an old onza frame theyll get rid of for little money!
  10. Nice man, enjoyed that! Your up to fronts are huuuuuge. I love that section in bristol around 1:40 aswell, need to head over there again soon
  11. I really like this clip from Terry Kennedy - Natural High: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSvwTFSbOlU "Nothing changes, but you, you mightve put on a little bit of weight, got a deeper voice...but the world doesnt change.." And also......"Follow your heart, and not mankind" from a Q-Tip song
  12. Do you have 4-bolt mounts or V mounts on your forks? The magura evo adapters for the V mounts arent too great so you're better off with a V if you have those. If you want a V on 4-bolts then you'll need an adapter to screw in to the 4-bolt mount with a V-brake lug. I personally prefer a good V on the front, has a nicer feel as a front brake I think and can have awesome bite and hold. I've had maguras and Vs on the front and overall disc has been better than either of them for me, but V better than magura. A decent V brake can be quite cheap - Avid SD7 lever, SD7 calipers, oddysey linear slic cable, sorted. The shimano XT/XTR levers are also really nice but more expensive.

    Football

Well yeah of course doctors etc. 'should' get paid more but footballers aren't paid by the government. Its a business, and footballers are what millions of people pay to watch, and so obviously the footballers themselves get paid a hell of a lot. It might seem unfair but in a way they get what they deserve, since so many people want to watch them kick a football around a field I'm more p**sed off about bankers getting paid so much after the government bailed them out.......!
  14. Is there any way that the photos can be auto scaled when you click them? I'm using firefox and when I click a photo I have to zoom out with my browser to see it properly.
  15. I've got some rims with painted sidewalls and can't be bothered to sand them! Currently riding brakeless but going to get some SD7's with rim wrangler pads. I'm planning to do a light grind - mainly to get rid of the paint. Anyone ever ran WR2s on a grind, and do they disintegrate or are they OK? Cheers
  16. As far as I remember, there's an olive and barbed fitting at the lever end, and a barbed fitting at the slave end. You can cut it off to length from the lever side, then put a new barbed fitting (or may be able to re-use old one) in the end and reattach to the slave. Sorted

    Clean 001

Amazing I'm looking to adopt a style similar to the riding in this vid so its very inspirational! Keep up the good work
  18. I like the idea, I will probably have a go on a fantasy trading site and see how it goes. I can see how big money can be made, the stop losses do lower the risk a lot aswell. Cheers dude. Matt - they will most likely have 0 debt before the end of the year. Making massive profits at the moment (over $1000 per ounce of gold), will produce over 60,000 oz this year. Paid off $8m of debt to $22m in first quarter of 2011 which is their weakest quarter for production (due to weather). I have high hopes for this company!
  19. Had a good short ride on my the 24" ashton ET I just bought, feels so different, makes really old spots fun again. Now to write my dissertation.......
  20. Nice man, you must have been working for BT for a while? Some of my friends options deals look pretty sweet - they can get 9 shares for the price of 6 and stuff like that, theres a maximum they can invest every month though. I've looked into spread betting but it's too risky for me, i'd rather buy shares in a company after they've dropped, for example buying stocks in rolls royce after they had engine problems etc. I really wanted to buy some BP shares when they bottomed at like 300p but didn't have any spare cash at the time and was still getting the hang of trading You only pay capital gains tax if you get more than £10k profit in a tax year so it's nothing to worry about yet, although you get 10% (i think) tax on dividend income - so i put my funds in an ISA. I'm waiting for AAZ to wake up...theyre churning out profits but the share price just isnt moving. Will do sometime, will just have to patient.
  21. Been having a go at brakeless, awesome fun, but going to take a lot of practice! Can now appreciate how awesome some people are at it in video's ive seen - esp. you Ali!
  22. Very nice, I like that a lot! Will be much easier to find bits and also sell bits without having to bump the topic all the time.
  23. Just remember to keep your hands on the wheel and look in the mirrors a lot! Always look in the wing mirror before indicating and rearview before braking
