Luke - if you are offering to collate deposits / moneys I won't say no, haha, thank you David, the owner, has said we can pay in cash on the day which is why I didn't ask for full payment in advance - hope that makes sense...
  2. Ouch... Well built ones that people don't try to squeeze too much power out of are fine it seems, but they are better n/a anyway
  3. Right then, had one interested on the Westfield forum but it's not a definite. Haven't got time to try other forums, if we want to do this we need to get it booked this week. 1. Rainbird 2. Pete 3. Dann27089461£8284 4. Mike (Who's not really a "Mad Man", he made bad choices 13 years ago) 5. RobinJI 6. Haz 7. Kennard 8. Tarty Adam (if I'm needed to make up numbers) Possibles 9. 4. Not in the slightest, lol.
  5. Oops, completely missed this until now! There are plans to do another but nothing concrete yet. It very much depends on the rest of the calendar and when we have free weekends. Have just stuck up a video from the first one here: http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/topic/189935-tartybikes-open-trial-video/
  6. Towards the end of last year we ran an experimental format competition at Shipley Glen, which we named the Open Trial - here's the video! http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2g8eox_tartybikes-open-trial_sport We've had to use Dailymotion as both Vimeo and YouTube are whinging about music copyright... Sorry. You might be able to skip the adverts by going straight to the URL: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2g8eox_tartybikes-open-trial_sport There are plans to do another but nothing concrete yet. It very much depends on the rest of the calendar and when we have free weekends. We'll post details as and when Cheers, Adam
  7. Our January sale is in February. Why? Because nobody has any money in January and we want you to be able to take advantage of these great clearance bargains Everything has at least 30% off and some items are 75% off! Everything in this category is a case of 'when it's gone, it's gone', so don't hang about: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/clearance_bargains/c600.html
  8. I don't get it. And all those little tiny tweaks are completely lost on me. And that car isn't dirty.
  9. Yes - If we get enough numbers or you guys grow some balls and deal with 9 attendees
  10. I had to Google that! But yes, I'd say so.
  11. I guess I should have expanded that statement to 'any fork will break at some point'. In general*, the ~550g carbon ones last longer than ~800g alloy ones though, from my experience. *There are so many other factors, this is a general sweeping statement!
  12. Lol. Yeah they will break at some point, any aluminium 4-bolt fork will, but in terms of life : weight ratio the Sport Lites are impressive.
  13. And there you have it, your band name!
  14. Wahey, did wonder if you hadn't seen this! I'm sure you can divide £650 by 12 Nick
  15. I would agree with that. Or spend the money on enjoying the car (track days, tyres, fuel and instruction)
  16. Winner - thanks. I have my PMs turned off...
  17. Intercooler (and pipework), ECU. I looked at it and decided I'd need £1500 for a reliable 50bhp increase. Drove a boosted 5 on track on Saturday, only running actuator pressure for reliability (5psi) - it solved the 'deadly slow' issue, but took a bit to get used to the power delivery and (relatively) poor throttle response. Not sure I liked it. Had MUCH more fun in a standard 90bhp UK model, thrashing the shit out of it and bullying everything apart from a Radical SR8 in the corners, lol.
  18. Thanks for the speedy replies gents I'll bosh something on the Westfield forum now, try and get another couple of 'definites'.
  19. I have a feeling you use Hope adaptors...? This is why I believe it's the adaptor that causes the sort of damage shown above.
  20. Cheers Mike. I'm going to put my foot down and put an absolute maximum of 12 on this, when you realise how little track time that gives (about 30 minutes in total) you'll thank me later
  21. Reet then, this hasn't filled very quickly, but we'll need to book shortly if we're going to get that date. Would you guys be up for having 8 cars at £80andabit each? Or shall I ask around Clio, Westfield and MX5 forums for a couple more? Cheers.
  22. Sounds like pad pickup, give the discs a skim or a rub over with some good harsh sandpaper.
  23. As above, adaptor broke causing the other failures.
  24. Some dog owners are mental, lol.
  25. On the Fourplay it will protect from scratches, but you don't need one structurally-speaking, the downtubes are solid.
