Quite noisy, nothing abnormal though, noticable first few times you play it but you do get used to it. As for the online thing, considering that Halo 3 usually has about 200,000 people on it at 2pm and Call of Duty 4 is by far more popular, i dont think you will have any issue finding gamers.
