  1. Excellent thanks Paul Brother's in town now, and hopefully ordering a full rear SD7 for me, and will see how that goes. Ultimate will be on the cards if all goes well though. SD7 arms, SD7 lever, Linear Slic cable, Heatsink adaptors, Heatsink CNC backings, Rock Blue pad material Sounds nice, so lets hope it matches that performance wise!
  2. Helicoil them, and they'll be stronger than ever before Don't just buy a new frame because you strip a thread or two!
  3. Deore? Hmm Have you used both? If so, what did you find better/worse about one over the other? Need to get as decent a vee setup as I can for as little money as possible, though might be able to spend a touch more if I know it's going to be worth the extra cash, and will last
  4. Both sexy beasts, though I have a slight love of the Ti. Bunnyhops like a god!
  5. Leg is fine, doesn't feel like anything (other than a bit of swelling and lack of flesh!) Toe, on the other hand, is likely to be fractured, and may lose a toenail, though hopefully not! New gearing today = poo riding from me, but you guys were on fire (Alex has his manuals down )
  6. The exact setup I'm getting, at the minute at least! Glad to hear they seem good so far, anybody else used them?
  7. Then you have two options: -Pull one of the other housemates -Bring your own
  8. A little off topic, but I'm considering getting the SD7 arms in the near future. How do you find them? What lever/cable do you run with them? Good solid braking?
  9. That's our place for the next year, so it's free to those we like Those we're not so keen on can put a little cash in to help towards rent/pay for the massive new TV/Virgin package we've just had put in! There's a good amount of shops etc round where you can pick up drink etc, but we can sort that lot out on the day. There's 3 sofas downstairs, and a bit of room dotted about elsewhere, so it'll all be first come first served, and it might be worth bringing a sleeping bag if you can, though I'm sure you can find someone to cuddle up next to if you are that way inclined
  10. See the post above yours? Welcome to our humble abode
  11. Make it Saturday As before, that should be the main riding day, so anyone who only fancies one day, do that Dave: Sing it non-stop for a few days and it sticks! Rich: Good man
  12. Far from it, there's far more riders/new riders than there were a few years back
  13. OK, So, the Plymouth Weekender was a good laugh, especially those who stayed at Prawn's each night! Personally, I've only just managed to get Avril Lavigne out of my head, so it seems that it's only appropriate that we organise the next one! Plan is to travel up on August 31st (Friday), have a bit of a laugh etc that night, and ride Saturday/Sunday. Same as before really I have a bit of space for a few people to crash, though if people could try to find somewhere else it would be better, as I've already got a few spaces taken, so it might be stairs for anyone else! If we can get a decent crowd going again it should be awesome, and with Bristol being that bit closer to everyone than Plymouth, it's a lot more accessible, so lets get an even bigger turnout! Views/opinions welcome, Luke
