  1. Could have sworn that was Barry Chuckle when I first looked
  2. I was tempted for the night ride on Monday, but they don't fit all that well so it didn't happen
  3. Media player should do the trick I think I use Winamp and all was fine though
  4. How long have you been riding? First vid? If so, well done, it's good to see newer people getting vids out more often However, riding-wise, you seem scared of your own front wheel! A lot of the time when on the rear you appear to have your arms nearly locked out and your head thrown back. Try to bend your arms a little more and raise the front wheel slightly higher, as this will give you a better, more controllable position, and should make things a bit easier for you
  5. If I know my brake will hold then that's good for me. If I know my brake will hold and it's silent, even better
  6. Just finished watching it Well worth the download, and if it was available over here somewhere I would be more than happy to pay for it Brilliant!
  7. Haha! This is incredible, well worth the wait... (all 7 minutes of it!) oh my god! Stoppies down massive stair sets ***! scrub that, it gets better...
  8. Sweeeeet! Download starts: 11:26 (by my laptop clock) Download ends: 11:33 (by my laptop clock)
  9. Do it Just built up a set of DX32s onto Pro II/XC hubs myself, and they are awesome Would definitely get this setup again Do it!
  10. Damn straight Prawny, we'll show them home boys where it's at...
  11. I've mixed from a laptop a fair bit, mostly at a few beach parties and stuff (car batteries ***!), but also a small festival thing at Westpoint Arena (Exeter) and used VirtualDJ for those, but would like to try it a bit more "hands on" so to speak. I can't afford to get a full setup for vinyl, but was thinking maybe heading down the CD/mp3 route What do you think of this side of things Mike? Would it be worth a play, and if so, what kit would you recommend and where's the best sort of place/s to look for it? Thanks in advance, Luke
  12. "Fame! I'm gonna live forever...." Blah blah Cool pics, will take a look at the rest at some point, may grab a couple of the high-res ones from you Was a really fun evening, pleased with that drop-gap too
  13. Not so much the mess, but the anodizing on the '07s gives off a harsh dust that can cause serious problems, such as Alzheimer's
  14. Meh, you're all crap! Might see you out if anyone comes if not, I'll make new friends with hobos
  15. Just a quick shout to anyone who fancies it - Will be having a bit of a night session later on, probably heading out some time between 8 and 10pm or so Fancy it? Post up!
  16. Sorry, I didn't quite get what you meant there, could you clarify please? Tuppers, Butlers, slingers are the 'new' BikeTrial UK, and want to keep it Moto? How do you mean? I rode a comp organised by Tupman last year, and it was a great day. Really fun, nothing too strict (application wise etc, rules were still well stuck to) and nice and easy for a first-time comp rider to get into it In my opinion, that's how a comp should be run, but what are the differences between this, and the 'Original' BTUK comps? As I've said before, in order to get me to ride more comps, I want to be able to turn up and ride. I would be happy to buy a £10 license for the year or whatever if I needed to of course. I'm certain others feel the same, as I've spoken to a fair few guys who do I'm just curious as to what rules are being considered to be brought in/taken out, and what is changing. I know very little about how things actually run here, so if anyone wants to put it in the simplest way possible, it would be appreciated
  17. Shame - Go home the weekend after with me and ride Plymouth you filthy hobag
  18. It's not so much that all singlespeed riders are against running gears due to weight or whatever though I for one don't really want to splash out just for one comp that I may enter perhaps, just to get gears, shifters etc, when 99% of the time I will be riding street, and would prefer to run a singlespeed setup If I was riding in every round of a comp, at a half-decent level then I would run gears, but for me at least it would be a lot simpler toi be able to just turn up, with my bike, and ride. I'm sure a fair few others feel exactly the same. If the governing bodies want to get more people riding comps then they need to make it as cheap and as easy as they can for people. The more accessible it is, the higher attendance they will get
  19. You've kinda said it yourself there really then Just be honest with her, don't go making things worse by being a dick so she ditches you, just sit her down and talk If it's not working, then it's not working, and if she feels the same then you shouldn't worry about it, because it will be better for both of you in the long run
