  1. no its electronic. its quite a good one i think. and no the tamiya motor is good. it was the only 21 turn motor i could find that was half decent
  2. meh its fast enough for me!! i had a kyosho landmax 4wd before this car and its well more fun the landmax was just scary and wouldnt drift or do donuts or anything fun so it got boring. the tamiya motor was one of the only ones that allowed me to go fast as fook without buyin a new esc
  3. nope the chassis is a good few mm above the ground! on very small bumps the frotn lip of the shell scrapes abit but thats all it also scrapes the shell when i drift it into a curb
  4. ha the first one is worth waiting for! erm tamiya type-rz motor cost me 40 quid torques like fook with a fairly high top speed so not too much a waste of dosh
  5. you should sell it and get drifting!!! goes pretty damn fast + has drift tyres. got all sus adjusted perfectly and a fast as fook motor!! great fun

  11. ive been running a 185mm avid for ages now. never had any problems. i run it with a hope gothic rotor and it is mentally good. ive had one go on a hope mono trial but that was on a mod that was good also. i would say the avid though for adjustment etc. i havnt hit mine too much in all honesty and when i have it has survived!!
  12. bout an xtr booster off him awhile ago came within days proper sound lad
  13. the b20d would be ok but it has mountainbike spacing for the back hub so you cant run standard mod hubs in them frames. you have to use a mountainbike one. they dont ride well considering you can get zonas etc for the price of one

  16. yeh thats what i meant by there not expensive if your polo is your pride and joy why not spend that much on wheels?! to be quite honest id have a nice mk1 than quite alot of other stuff!!
  17. 400 quid is not expensive compared to schmidt, rial etc there over a grand!
  18. yeh pretty much. id go for some sort of wavey design though they seem a hell of a lot better
  19. why differant wheels ats classics are the bomb and not expensive either realy!! i realy wish i was old enought o buy a car, and i also have an unhealthy fetish for vw's
