  3. Look at the second picture That is not a sidehop, that's one of your mates, 'tucked' on top of some pallets with HIS FOOT DOWN. :ermm: It's a freewebs site, takes no skill to make. and no time at all. Shit. :ermm:
  4. My rear HS33's just had as fresh water bleed recently. Feels really nice. Surprisingly enough, it hasn't frozen yet. And it's left in my garage overnight, which gets really cold!

  7. What? haha, I seriously don't remember putting Magura olive...Was meant to put something else. Didn't think about just holding the hoseupwards, to stop all liquid coming out, and air in (that what you mean?) Sorry... :P B)

  11. I don't know much about cable brakes, But I've noticed alot of people using XTR Levers. And I hear they're probably the best lever around. Take a look into 2nd ones, on eBay etc. :P

  13. It's the NMC version of selling. 'How much can I get for blah blah blah...?' Then 'accidently' add the msn address.. :- (N)
  14. No I wasn't trained. Because I know most stuff about how to but a bike together. I'm sure i would have got taught if I didn't have a clue.
  15. I use a cheap version of WD40. But my grips are quite tight anyway, so even straight after i've put them on, they stay. (WD40 works too)
  16. Halfords are pretty poor by the way the deal with repairs. Well, the one I work at is. We book them in, and then they pretty much do them whenever, it's not always the staffs fault that the new parts don't come in whatever. When a new componant is needed, we have to ring head office, sort it out with them first, before we ring the companies or whetever, and then get the componants. But some companies are slower then others, so the customers may have to wait a long while before the repair is done. Anyhoo, if you were having your hoses cutting down, surely they would have to take the magura apart, and re-bleed it. And because Halfords have been told/trained etc to use bleed kits, and Magurs Olive, that's what they'll do. And to keep the customer happy, they'll do the best job they can.And to do this with you, they would have to dry out the magura etc, To keep it in fully working. You could just ask them to cut the hose down, put it all back together without a bleed, so you could do it yourself. For the future, learn how to repair your bike yourself, It doesn't cost anything (labour wise) and will take half the time.
  17. Frame looks too high in my opinion. Can't make out anything else...
  18. What's so special about asking a 23 year old American anything? Why not a 82 year old scottish bloke?

    Pad Reviews

Pads: Plazmatic CRM's Time used: About 3months Rim used: Standard Onza one (Alex DX32 i think...) Grind: Yes. but worn Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura HS33 bled with water. What is your opinion of a working brake: Locks straight away, solid feel, doesn't slip. How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Best yet, used to have Koxx Browns, but they slipped Review: After I got them, I cleaned up the rim with de-greaser. Put them in, set them up etc. I was impressed. Held a lot better then my old Koxx pads. I haven't got a booster (yet) so it feels spungey, but i'm sure with my booster it'll feel alot better. Slip a bit in the wet, but if I hold the brake tighter, It still holds. Have hardly worn down too, good amount of meat on them from new aswell. Overall, I'm very impressed with these pads, will definatley buy another pair once they've done their time.
