Hi there Sun Double wide with a VERY worn grind. I'd be representing the people who get their friends to grind their rim and then never grind them again aka Lazy people. I've always found pads never grip great on worn grinds, would like to see a pad that does. (04 HS33, maggy blood, echo booster, maxxis tyre etc.... Neil PS i'm 20, just about to finish 2nd yr of uni and i think a lil sexy, so i've had a lot of experience......in trials XX Edit: V brake up front with koolstop cartidges on D521, VERY good with a bit of tar . Edit 2: will have my mod up and running in the next few weeks (zoo python), will be running ronnie, so i could see how that compares, no grind either

The thing is Steve i want to use the gold bars that i bought they look sooooo nice , colour will go well I may have to just buy some new ones But anther thing is.....I swear i had sleves on my Planet X bars MANY years ago on my handsomedog. They seemed ok Neil Inur, you're a bit of a ledgend. Thanks Also should the sleves be outside the stem clamp?

Thanks for the hekp guys. I'm not quite sure what Ben meant by "I don't like shimming bars". Do you mean you dont like to have a brace on the bars........maybe because they would slip?????? I've PM'd inur, but any more help on the shimming would be good. Is it a clamp that will go around my bars, do i have to weld it on :$ , or is it more of a case of really tightening the bolts on the stem. I don't see it being amazingly stable? Thanks, Neil

Well i got some Koxx bars and they don't fit my monty stem. Is there a brace/bracket i can get to make them fit? Also is there a monty sealed hub, but not the monty Xlite one. I've been offered a rear wheel that has a monty sealed hub, but cant find the hub that he descirbed. The only one i can find is the monty X lite, but thats not the one. The other option i can find is the unsealed one, but he says it's sealed? No idea on age either Any help much apreciated, Neil

Hey, It depends on the rim and frame you're running. I ran my high roller on a Sunn Double Wall and Try-All rim in my echo urban frame. It ended up with me having to get a knife and cut the tread to be able to fit the tyre in. I also put the tyre on back to front and the tread wore down within a few days. But overally great tyres, but i'm going to try the minion next time Neil

I went to the bike shop today to see if they could figure out what was wrong. The guy said the hub was totally fooked. He said it was collapsing. So looks like i will need a new 32h hub Neil

Just to update you guys; The paypal account used was his friends. His friend didn't want his account to get into trouble so he went to see Micheal Harrison. He got the bike packaged up and sent it. In this time paypal has refunded me £126.43 of the £275 i sent. So for the bike i'm paying £150 ish I recieved the bike today only to find; 1) The bars he gave me didn't fit the stem 2) No mounts or boosters or bolts 3) No bolt for the break 4) The rear cog on the wheel was oval 5) The front freewheel i swear was not 36 eps and was a lil bent 6) Chain wouldn't move 7) Top cap was dodgy 8) Frame was dirty I guess i have a Zoo Python frame 1045, some nice rims (ronnie), maxxis tyres, monty stem and forks, nice 06 HS33's, muscleman cranks . But this has been so much hassel and effort. A lot of phone calls. I am not going to ask for paypal for any more money back but i'm not going to give him the money i recieved back. I think it's fair. I think this "Michael Harrison" should be banned to stop him doing this. I'm surprised nothing has happened before considering his past on this forum Well looks like i will have to buy some stuff, if you have anything you need to get rid of PM me. I will be checking refs Neil PS i had to take apart my stock parts to build up part of the bike. When i put it together i pedal the wheel and it gets stiff whats all that about? I think the rear hub is shot. So i have no bike to ride until this is sorted

Sell yourself , i tried but nobody bought me Baby-sitting is a good way of getting some good cash. If you're qualified you can get over £10 an hour. But i'm guessing you're not so say about £5 an hour. Ask next door neighbours and family friends. Another way would be walking dogs. That way you can lose those tubby edges too.
