Im afraid its all bollocks Some people just prefer longer frames to sidehop, others prefer shorter ones. Want an example? CLS rode a monty before zoo (the vid's called tango.mpeg) and the sidehops in that are pretty massive He then changes to python and happens to hop higher. Blame the frame? or perhaps he just got better in general? or the fact hes a massive bloke anyway and was really restricted on a short wheelbase frame My mate had a koxx LB long and sidehopped 48"....before it snapped Then he picks up a SHORT python and matches it Swings and roundabouts with the geos on every frame. Its mostly personal preferance. The longer chainstay suggestiopn above for gapping further is true, but it also means that theres more bike to manoevure. Some people prefer to just huss the bike up there, instead of travelling (hard to explain) but yeah, PERSONAL PREFERENCE!
