onza has had that tensioning system in there protos for years. I cant believe only them used it untill now. Not all of deng frames even use this either i dont think which is abit odd.

If i remeber it right, tarty put the idea forward saying that there was a gap in the market and a want for them and offered to take a batch of around 130 i think which is an awfull lot of hubs. Hope stupidly dent take them up on this as tarty wont purchase that many now.

But its a fixed tensioner and your drivetrain never runs true you get tight and slack spots in chain so if you want good tension it can put strain on the chain on a tight spot. Plus a rohloff style one is harder to do so more of a challenge. Thanks for the measurements. Going to start on the cad drawing for the 3 plates and ill post them up. First idea was to just make it like a rohloff, second was to take my hanger off and trace that almost so i could slot it into where the hanger would go, although would be good not very universal between frames. so yeah final idea is to just have it attach like a fixed tension through the hub bolt and hanger bolt. Really need some one to get me these dimensions though so i can start a cad drawing of it.

Im thinking of doing one with an incorporated mech hanger in it so to get round the obvious problem of snaping hangers. I need these dimensions though. Anyone please.

Cheers for the jockey wheels I dont want to use a spring from a derailleur, want something stronger to give tension on par with a rohloff.

Yeah it will make it louder, but more likely to wear out quicker. The sounds comes from the pawl clicking into place after going over a tooth in the racket. So grease acts like a cusion in making it quieter. Also the reason why more expensive freewheels are louder because the spring is stronger so the pawl fires back harder making a louder noise.

Im after some dimensions of a rohloff please. Id like dimension A , B and the thickness of the plates please. Also anyone know where i can get strong springs from and decent jockey wheels with proper bearings like the ones used in rohloffs?

They are a competition bike so do bear that in mind, there arnt built with strenght at top of the list. But they arnt to bad unless your a harsh mother f**ker. Have a look on tartybikes for prices. the whole reason people bought deng was because it was fairly well known for produceing products that could with stand abit of stick. He going to of lost quite abit of that market i think. Hes trying to produce products for a market he cant win in as he doesnt have a rep of quality like koxx and protoing so many different ways of looseing his weight his idea is to just cnc it and drill it. really gone off deng now

I dont agree on your way of thinking really. Youve been split up a while now its not like hes just jumped in after youve broke up. Its not really for you to say who they should see what if they ended up life partners, its not for you to denie someone that chance. Sounds a little like jelousey. For people interested. Joshs funeral was on thursday. Most of his friends all met up at his mums house and we thought there was alot there, when we got to the church it was already full.As many people as possible where squeezed into the church but some couldnt. I made a speech for him and its possibley the hardest thing ive ever done and was in tears all the way through. He was cremated after and songs he loved and that where appropriate were played. He had an amazing send off if theres such a thing. Dont no what else to say.

Youve only been with her 2months just chill abit. Shes proberly still not so sure where the relationship is going and if its going to last no matter what you tell her because it has only been 2months. May be have abit of a word with her and say you know that family means alot but it does make you feel alittle shit that you get blown off so much and feel like it can be that she doesnt like seeing you.

theres the bash plate mount there still though that will help and may stick out just enough to cover it does on some frames.

Thats the point about vee brakes and why me and ali use them. Vees arnt known for bite the point behind them and why we like them so much is they hold like f**k and dont slip on the edge of things. Because of this there not for everyone usually tgs riders as they like alot of bite in there pads with a loud squeak.
