  1. i will be going along to with the rest of the burnley lads should be a good ride. never rode there before have wanted to for ages.
  2. your tyre can be the problem sometimes other wise just a normal tube with more air in it.
  3. what snail cams you using as i found some to be poo. i did a snail cam review on a few snail cams if you use search you should be able to find it and hopefully it will help you. also if you are running a deng frame you will not be able to run chain tugs with out making some adjustments with an angle grinder. give tarty a call and order some normal onza tugs and they will tell you where to grind to make them fit if you ask, thats if you want to run tugs instead of snail cams.
  4. i have a profile meself and i have a tensile freewheel aswell. i like my profile but found that when they broke they are just to expensive to keep repairing, nothing is cheap on them. i would advise against a rear freewheel as this means you have to run a 22 tooth fixed cog which is low gearing and you will lose power, but thats for another topic lol. i like my tensile havn't had any problems so far but havn't had it very long but everyone has given it the from what ino. i am running a t-master fixed hub which is the same hub as the 05 echo hub and love it, its smooth as f**k. frames, now that is a big topic. this comes up so many times. all we can do is surgest a frame to the geometry you like and if it is strong or not eg. high bb, long wb could surgest a gu long. you should ignore people who say i have such and such a bike and it rides blah blah blah, because this is there opinion and could be completely different to what you think if you was to ride his bike. also if you have your eye on a frame you like the best thing to do is to go out and have ago on someones who has it, just find a big ride near you and go have ago.
  5. they look in my opinion, and i doubt they will be as good as the onza range such as t-rex and t-raptor which are around the same price.
  6. i would be interested and love the guys idea bout name n bike ect. the thing i dnt like bout other clothing companys is the fact its just a t-shirt sayin the company name. i would like to see colours like green orange black light blue. i would also love to see a t-shirt with the phrase on the back " you've got no seat mate" or " do a wheelie" something like that. i think alot of poeple will be interested as your offering them the chance to have the say in what the t-shirt looks like and not just the companys name written in different ways. i would pay summert like 10-15 quid.
  7. they are pritty snap happy im afraid my friend snapped 2 in a short, time unlucky mate and my condolences to you bout the loss of ur nans
  8. get a tensile freewheel if you cant afford it wait alittle while longer till you can rather than getting a acs, as the tensile freewheels are much better. they are £36 posted by tartybikes
  9. like it says above i need to talk to him fairly urgently about a wheel bought from him, if anyone could help that would be great, my msn addy is chelseafan_5@hotmail.co.uk.
  10. no im afraid it isn't the cranks or bb. tarty said that the racket ring has stripped the threads in the hubshell if i remember, and eventually the racket ring will rip out of the hubshell. has this happen to anyone else? how will i go about warrenty because i bought the hub secound hand off gaz meridith so will i have no warrenty? also could you get in touch with me gaz please if you read this, my addy is in my profile but you should have me added on msn anyway.
  11. i think i have a problem with my profile. when i gap and put alot of pressure on the drivetrain as you do when gapping something is slipping. i have a welded up freewheel on the cranks acting as a fixed cog. and it feels like when i gap that the freewheel isn't tight on the cranks and is tighting on like when you put a freewheel on for the first time and then kick on the cranks and it tightens on. put ive come to the conclusion that it couldn't be that because the problem got worse over the time of a ride. i thought that it could be the racket ring moving round under the stresses in the hubshell when everything is locked up when you kick on the pedals. anyone else with any ideas or with the same problem. also please dont surgest the racket ring is worn and its just skiping because its not that as i can tell the difference between a skip and something slipping.
  12. which echo rim have you bought the 2006 one or the 2007 one. if its the 2006 i would run a smooth rim because they arn't a very strong rim and many people have detroyed them. the 2007 ones are fairly strong i believe and i would say go for a grind. i would do what ever you like the best because you will get alot of mixed responses bought what they use pad wise and smooth or ground rim. if your not keen on puttin a grind on then i would say dont or get someone else to do it.
  13. theres not a chance of fitting a 2.7 tyre in a gu. i struggle enuff get a creepy crawler to not rub the chain stays, theres naff all clearance on a gu one of the bad points about them.
  14. yeah it can help alot, as you dont have to wait a couple of years for your freewheel to engage so you get the power down quicker. it can also help you eg. gap futher because your freewheel engaes earlier so you get more power out of your pedal stroke. i would say dont get the rims get something that will make a difference especially if your a beginner. theres will be plenty of time for you to colour corodinate your bike when your an amazing rider. get something that will help you becomethat amazing rider.
  15. the bikes i would recomend are a onza t-pro if you are fairly small and young or a t-rex if you are taller with abit of strenght. but any of the onza range are great bikes to start on, have a look on www.tartybikes.co.uk. also ring them up and ask them any questions you have as they have the best customer service ever and will help you with any problems you have. as for learning the moves watching videos on the vids section helps for getting the jist of how the move is done, but the best way is to find someone who can do the moves and get them to help you. trials is just practice practice practice its the only way you can get better. you will also find alot of trials is in your head once you can over come the things thats telling you not to do it you improve vastly
  16. nope did it meself with a spray can, i obviously used primer and shit but i was pritty impressed with how it came out to say i used a spray can.
  17. got bored of silver on my gu and was wanting to change the colour for a while and after seeing rowans johns bike it made me sure of the colour i wanted, i havn't got round to spraying the forks and changing the grips to black. and will eventually change the headset. hopefully a mate will post the pic up in bike pics but thought i would put it on here aswell so new members could give there opinions aswell. all coments are welcome, so tell us what you think please. http://s114.photobucket.com/albums/n250/ch...mgAnch=imgAnch1
  18. probly becouse you can run over them with a stem roller and some how the steam roller will come out worse . they are seriously strong they are in the league of a t-rex if not stronger
  19. its not a perticuarly big sport. the components arn't mass produced because of the sports size so the prices are more expensive so the company can make a decent profit. if it was a big sport they would sell more things and wouldn't need a high price on the goods because they are selling more and things will cost less to make because they are being mass produced.
  20. i just cumed in my pants after seeing the ciguena lol wow that is smart that is my next frame as long as the geo is to my liking.
  21. nope the lastest you can post things out is 5pm, and they dont work satdays so your things would be sent out on monday for tuesday
