  1. Probably be alright. Never used one, but shoudl be a good balance of weight and power. I have a feeling the rotors only come in centre lock though, so you would have to fork out for another rotor. They may have chaged that though.

    Nerdbox

"Speed Fan" is a good example of such a program. unfortunately however, it wont work on all motherboards. My home Dell, and my little Shuttle itl run on, and tell me fan speed and some temps, but it wont allow me to control the fans.

    Mini

Fooking hell mate, bit of a bargain there!!! very unusual for ebay, good ones usually go for much more. Make sure you keep an eye on that rust, on a mini it can be scary what a "little bubble" can be hiding underneath! Edit: Ah, not £500, £1500. in that case dead on the money. good buy with some tasteful mods. I fi were you, loose the neons, flog em on ebay for a few quid, and put it towards a stage one kit and a RR tune up, shoudl get the potential out of the enigne then. Also, make sure theres a hole or two in your parcel shelf to make the best use of any subwoofer youve got. If youve not got vents there but speakers, you may damage the speakers in the shelf.
  5. Bump and update from me. I am going to try my hardest to be here for this ride, but i may be slightly late. looks like i might have to be in london saturday night / sunday morning.
  6. i never used to be abel to swallow tablets, retched every time. Since ive had to take 4 (or more) everyday you force yoruself to do it, and get used to it pretty quickly.
  7. Just drink less!!! I once hit my ex in the face, but i was fully a sleep. I felt really guilty when she told me in the morning though.
  8. Ive got hope SPOT facing tool, and it really did help with the old hope minis to reduce the squeel from them, i just like making sure everythings lined up perfectly realy. If you can get it done cheap, worth doing- alhtough as has been noted, its not nessesary for avid calipers.
  9. Sounds interesting to say the least. Am a bit skeptical, but i do think it could work. You seem to have done some good legwork so far.
  10. I did pretty much exactly that on the Union wall in pompey when it was wet, hung the back out went to pop off and the front wheel slipped landed flat on my back on the concrete completely winded, bike on top. Luckily, as i always do, i was wearing a helmet- now has a nice little dent and the outer is peeling slightly, better than my head for sure!
  11. Yeah, was playing with effects on my phone (dont even have a camera lol! all pics taken on a phone) The distorted ones are solarise, the one of nicks bike is sepia.
  12. Very nice sunny ride in Pompey yesturday. Some highlights.
  13. Can't forget the cable ties now!
  14. ive switched to the last standard msn, live was anoying me for those reasons and not adding contacts properly.
  15. QUOTE(Bill_B @ Mar 13 2007, 08:25 PM) ←Now you will be able to go to a club and come home smelling of sweat, beer and vomit instead of smoke.... Yum! Actually, you don't really. I have been out in scotland and it is soooooooo soooooooo much nicer IMO as a non smoker. Only smell as sweaty as if i had been riding, and i have never thrown up from alcohol thanks!
  16. I always go for super saver, and more often than not it turns up well before they say it will, usually one to two days rather than the suggested up to 7 days when you order.
  17. The 7 sec ring vid? i first saw it yesturday on another forum.
  18. What a complete and utter knob! driving at those speeds (looked a good 60+ by the end) down a little london road with many turnings, surprised he wasnt killed / killed someone. Damage doesnt even look too bad. He got off lightly IMO. EDIT: ring video link, got to be the quickest crash ever!

    Vaseline

It is oil based, and repels water. It would be better than butter and most animal fats, and most certianly better than nothing at all. If its just a cheap cup and cone bearing hub, go ahead and use it. Just make sure you regrease regularly, and pref clean and replace with porper grease sooner than later.

    In Car Stereo

do a search, quite a few audio topics with a lot of useful advise have some and gone. Decent HU is first point of call, spend as much money as you can here, its worth it. Decent front speakers, amped. Sub, amped would them be a good bet. depending what car youve got will affect what you need and how ti install it. Im hoping to improve my sound system over easter, wihtout actually chanigne anything, just sound deadening the car.
  21. haha nice one freddo! Woop! won £2.50 on a pub quiz. 3 way tie, and we lost the tie braker, so we got half the second prize money (a tenner) for our team of 4.
  22. If your looking at minis, bodywork rust is of key importance. this is hard and expensive to fix, mechanicals arent. A mini with a mint body, that barely gets you home is likely to be a cheaper fix and last longer than a mini that you can see the road when you look down, but goes like stink.
  23. Have to say, it does look good so far. I like the layout, simple and easy to navigate. As has been said, more info would definately be of benifit, but i guess thats just a matter of time. One thing i would recomend, in addition to the general faq and good product descriptions is maybe a link from each product that when you click brings a pop up window with a general faq-esq paragraph about that type of item, remember not all your customers will have come across every type of product before.
