  1. It will work very well with old hubs which are a bit worn. The other technique which Janson used is a bit more complicated but doesn't damage the bearing. It involves locking the drive shell inside the hub and hammering it out. Since the drive shell is locked with all the internals, the bearing, ring drive and spring will come out with it.
  2. If you're looking for some constructive criticism, here's some. Going to get a lot of grief for this, but your riding really doesn't float my boat. Sure the moves themselves are very impressive as are the lines. But you ride like a tank. Heavy, nervous and seemingly lacking control (although it's blatantly not the case). It looks like you need to ease out on your bike a bit.
  3. Very good riding, especially if you consider the stress. Must take some serious skills to do all that under such pressure. The show itself lacked a bit of flow in my opinion, there were a lot of moments where nothing was happening. Loved the ending when the music broke out.
  4. Aren't they just CRM refills with a metal backing? My experience with CRM's is rather miserable.
  5. What's that cable going to your saddle?
  6. How is most of that stuff even possible I love the ease of his riding, you can see riders like Damon almost shit their pants from effort on every single move, TRA makes bigger stuff look as if it was nothing for him.
  7. It's MUCH more convincing when you post something three times. It's MUCH more convincing when you post something three times. It's MUCH more convincing when you post something three times. You'll best be off with an '08 or older ZOO/Adamant frame, they're bombproof.
  8. Good to know that he's made it back! I love his riding, used to watch it for hours before going out riding. Now lets see him and Yao ride in the same team. Lee does need a stock though. Preferably one with a tiny plastic saddle
  9. You. Can you change the order of files within a folder by dragging and dropping them in a different place? My 7100 hasn't got that option, somebody must have forgot about it
  10. Mine is a tailspin. Well, once a year when I actually manage it.
  11. Are those graphics stuck onto the frame, or are they anodized/laser etched?
  12. Happy Birthday! Here, have some 6061 aluminium:
  13. Don't really like it, but I appreciate it. It's a good thing that such bikes are still being ridden and maintained.
  14. edit: Ads, you need a different background. Most of your full bike shots are way too bright and you can't see the bike properly. A shiny silver background doesn't work in my opinion.
  15. We need a post a picture of your bathroom thread.
  16. Yeah, I'd expect Hong Kong to have signs in English. As for a tour, I've looked into possible options and they all look really interesting but the price suggests I should get a wife and settle down first. They start at 2 grand so that'd be 4g's for the two of us. That covers a 3 week tour around the whole of China all expenses paid so it works out at 100 pounds a day which isn't bad. But I don't know anybody who would pay that much for a trip at this age. Not sure I would either.
  17. To put it short, I've always been wanting to go to China on holiday. After much consideration, I've decided that a good place to go to would be Guangzhou. It seems to be a nice blend of a big modern city and traditional Chinese architecture with lots of beautiful sights and interesting things to see. It also holds the CAN airport so getting there from Europe should be very easy. Now, I'm not sure if Guangzhou is a common choice for tourists from around the world, but if it isn't then the first problem one will probably encounter is the language. How the hell does one navigate through a place that big without being able to communicate with people or read signs? City transport / hired car + GPS? Neither will work surely, you need to be able to read where you're going to in the first place. Communication is my only and biggest worry and it's something I need to sort out before I even seriously start thinking about going there. Have any of you non-Chinese speaking guys been to Guangzhou or another big city in China? How did you find things? Was it an "easy" place to go on holiday or did you find it rather challenging? Any basic advice would be useful , I really don't know what to expect. I'd almost certainly be going "privately", not with a group. Also, roughly what are we looking at in terms of food/transport and museum prices once we're there? Hotels seem to be pretty well priced.
  18. Missed this thread completely. When I have the time, my maggie is going to receive this emulsion. Could be quite interesting, it's been run on water for quite a long time and no longer works as quickly as it should. A bit of lubricant could change that.
  19. Well actually, you're quite lucky to have had a steel fork. Aluminium forks just break, steel ones bend. If you ask me, it's much safe to have something which bends than something which will just tear off making you land on your face.
  20. I'd wash the bars and grips with soap and water. From my experience Trialtechs grip much better than any other grips, they just will not slide towards the centre of the bars.
