  1. I don't care about it at all. Somebody else will have to live with it, not us (selfish, isn't it?). And even if the sea level goes up within the next 50 years, I live far away from it. 2 years ago, we had a very cold winter over here, I believe it was really cold in the UK as well. Anyway, we had temperatures dropping to -20 quite often. A year ago we only had about 10 days of snow throughout the whole winter, the temperature was above 7 degrees most of the time and sometimes it would reach even 13. Some morons believe that this is due to global warming. What a load of bullshit. So 2 years ago we had global cooling, now we've got global warming? Things don't change that quickly. The only worrying thing is that global warming doesn't only affect temperatures, it affects the amount of storms, winds etc. Throughout the past few years the weather has been more and more vicious with hurricanes, floods and even tornadoes. That's not good. Anyway, I'm all for it. Winters are way too cold over here, it's time for a change :]
  2. Sorry for the bump, but "summer daze" must be the best mix I've ever heard. Give my regards to your brother

    New Tra Hd Video

Can't believe that's shot with the HV20, the image is way too good. Anyway, superb video, so chilled with different styles, interesting riding, editing. And you're getting much more powerful as well. Pity about the 2 parts though.
  4. Now that's odd, you'd expect the opposite from a trials specific tyre. Meh, I guess they are designed in France..
  5. The guy at the end looks like a complete moron.
  6. It will be good for comps if you learn to ride it well. Same applies to any other frame on the market.
  7. Same here. Besides, why would you care for an animal which can live with it's head cut off? The process of breeding chicken is forced nature really.
  8. Haven't got a pic of that tyre anywhere, but if you just look at it you should figure out which way to run it in order to get better grip.
  9. Oh man that's the perfect bike! Perfect gear ratio, ideal handlebars and stem combo... I'd just love to have a go on that!!
  10. In my room. Probably wouldn't be able to fall asleep if I kept it in a shed or garage.
  11. What a lovely style the guy with the black forks has
  12. I actually liked that a lot, mainly because you don't do any unnecessary hops. Nice and controlled.

    New Bars

Just extend them. What's the point of buying new bars? And yeah, the closest you can get is probably with a pair of Max Bars but even those don't have as much backsweep and upsweep as the Rage.
  14. Rather nice cars actually, one of them looks like a small mustang fastback but being Japanese you know it'll handle properly, be efficient and won't brake down! Interesting thread
  15. How about getting a VBI platform? You can configure most of the components yourself and it's much cheaper than a branded laptop. I'm pretty sure you can get these in the UK, it seems to be a worldwide Intel initiative. Got myself one of these laptops a few weeks ago, it was really cheap considering it's spec, it's well built and one can upgrade it like a normal PC.
  16. Little bump. I'm currently doing Air Alert 2 which increases the strength of one's legs but I'd like to do something for the upper body as well. Since I'm almost dead after the AA2 training (literally, no strength to stand up), I'm not looking for a 1hr training program that will wear me out even more. I was thinking of starting off with some press ups. Do you think doing say 3 series of 50-100 a day would help gain a bit of extra strength? I have no idea how muscles work, never had weights in my hands for longer than a few seconds. Not looking for a whole training program, just some advice on whether that would help in any way.
  17. Good god I don't know a single DJ/artist you listed there Mike Seems I'm more into the popular kind. Give A State of Trance a try, start off with episode 305 and see if you like it. It's pretty good once you get into it edit: Forgot these, in my opinion the two best tunes I've ever heard: Jerry Ropero & Denis The Menace - Time to turn around (full vocal mix) Jerry Ropero & Denis The Menace - CoraƧao (Club Mix)
  18. Cousts are shit on Echo rims? I'd love to know how you reached that conclusion
  19. A shorter stem with greater rise will help, but it will affect other moves. Why don't you just learn to bunnyhop that bike, it's not impossible. People do that on Vincos, old Czars and GU's. As a matter of fact, your frame should be really easy to bunnyhop. I had a go on one not so long ago, hated every bit of it but it was really flicky.
  20. Monty's are actually about 1000-1010 depending on the fork A frame with such geometry will have just as much cockpit room as in your Echo, it's the short chainstays that affect the wheelbase.
  21. That's exactly the reason why I started sidehopping in the opposite direction. Give that idea a try though, could be fun edit: as for it being difficult to learn to sidehop in the opposite direction, it took me 3 days of constant sidehopping. Such a change has more benefits than not falling off if you don't make it to the top.

    Tra, T33zr, Osp

Nice work Teezr, I want a proper vid of him this instant!
  23. I really think you should look into a fastening system so the frame can be built up from different modules. That must be the way forward in trials, having frames which you can build up yourself to match your riding style and preferences. The 2nd 26" project looks great, I really do hope these things go into production. The evolution of trials components is bloody slow, you'd make a huge "jump" introducing your frames.
  24. Amazing pics, Stan's wallpaper one is the best. I guess this shot will be my first ever trials background
