Good riding, some interesting and impressive lines but the video was too long, repetitive and personally wasn't too keen on the music. Great job nevertheless!

Ride an A1 which is basically an A2 but with a really short rear end. I had quite a few rides on my friends Control L and it was superb, just a bit on the short side. I'd go for a Control unless the longer stays on the A2 make a big difference, my frame lacks in power.

Silly, everybody will just try to convince you to the frame they use. Having ridden for a long period of time a Team L, GU S, GU L, 221Ti and Python L, I'd go for Monty. It's the most characteristic and springy frame I've ever had.

Very interesting topic if you get some replies. This would allow for a brake with loads of mechanical advantage to be put together without having to spend hundreds of pounds on Hope's. What was about 4 years ago named a Giant MPH3 is essentially a C2 with a Pro lever? If so, one could get a Hope Mini lever and increase the mechanical advantage by 60%, resulting in at least 40% increase in power. Anybody tried that? The MP3 are stupidly cheap.

The one and only move I'd like to see and which will no doubt be done one day is a backflip to rear wheel on a trials bike up an obstacle. Even if it's just done on a funbox with a few pallets ahead of it - that will do.

Yeah, get a KHE. Mine is soon going to enter it's 21st month of use, hasn't snapped once. I'm actually going to dip it in champagne for our 2nd anniversary. The Ti is essentially a Connex or a high end SRAM chain, neither of the two are strong.

Alright then, I've got quite a few buyers for my old camera which I didn't quite expect to be honest. I have been wanting to sell it in order to get a HDV camera. The more I think of it, the more unsure I am of getting one. Spent multiple hours reading through various forums, articles and all that, but this still doesn't give me a simple answer. I am currently using a semi-professional 3CCD Sony camera which is absolutely superb in terms of colours and the features it offers. All of the cheap Sony 1080i cameras use a single CMOS chip which is said to be better than even a 3CCD setup. Although I've already done quite a lot of research on this matter, there seems to be no straight answer as to which is better. More often than not it is said that the difference is unnoticeable or that the CMOS chip is better. I'd probably accept it if not for the fact that I've been offered as much for my camera as a new HDV one costs - those also shoot in DV, are more compact and offer the same features - so where's the catch? Throughout the past 2 years only 2 amateur Sony models have been released, the HC1 and later on the HC3. The HC1 was quickly discontinued (as was my camera for no apparent reason) despite people saying that it was actually far better than the HC3. I have looked through the images which have been provided on some Russian website, comparing both the cameras. It's a damn hard choice, both are good and both are very different. Even if I decided to get a HC1, it would be a very difficult task to buy one - there are a few up on ebay working in Never The Same Colour so that's of no use. The choice would be much easier if I was upgrading from a single CCD handycam as anything I'd get would be better. I'm only mentioning Sony as I've stuck to this company a while back, it's also "in the family" as it were. Any opinions from those of you who actually use a HD camera of any make would be greatly appreciated. I'm especially interested in how in general they perform in bad lighting (noise etc), how the colours are and if you are satisfied with what you've got. The last thing is editing of the material. So far I've been using uncompressed DV footage which my PC could cope with without any problem. Seeing as 1080 has a data rate of about 10gb/minute this will put a lot of stress on my computer. As a matter of fact I'm not even thinking about editing 1080, for a start it seems totally impractical unless you want some good screenshots. Will a standard IEEE 1394 cope with the data rate of say 720 footage, and will a A64 3500+ with 2gb RAM do the job? The last thing I want is to discover I have to invest another few hundred quid into upgrading my PC. That's it for now... edit: Here's a comparison of the two and some images/video stills taken with it. HC1 vs HC3 on some Russian site Resolution chart of the HC3 Still taken with the HC1 HC3 Video still HC3 video still 2 (not too keen on the over exposure here) Another still, amazingly good imo

Where Dose everyone Order Their Parts From
Greetings replied to onzat-comp's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I get small stuff that's not worth waiting for from Tarty, expensive stuff that isn't available this end from CRC (much cheaper than TB), Deng stuff from a mate who deals in Echo/Zoo etc. Monty stuff from Spain and Chris King gear from Aspirevelotech. -
Yeah, just the geometry I guess. Although I do go around lifting up mates' bikes and find them physically lighter although they're not.

Fabulous. About the top, it's more blue than green. Dark turquoise is closest but we're not gay to distinguish more than 6 colours + white and black. Google on dark turquoise meh, thank god deng is not a woman

What Do U Perfer My Dad Says A 26 Is Better But No!
Greetings replied to t-liteboy's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
Rode a mod for 5 years, and a stock for half a year now. Personally I think stock bikes feel much much better. You will probably benefit from a 20" bike if you have the right style and technique, I certainly didn't and that's why I hardly progressed throughout the last 2 years of riding a mod. It's really your choice, I don't want to go around saying mods are for kids because I don't like them - that's no argument. They're just different and that's a good thing, it certainly makes the sport more interesting. I'd say natural on a mod is easier but then that's just a guess, haven't ridden any rocks on my stock yet. -
You might want to take note that you're account is 244/300mb full. If you're uploading a file larger than the remaining 56mb it will automatically be deleted once the upload finishes. So unless your vid is smaller, this is why it's not there.

quite like my current bike, i'd like a full build 221Ti 07 frame = a vinco excessboy with 30mm bb rise rims = any light ones, tryall would do spokes = ti hubs = chris king ss rear, soul kozak front forks = zoo stem = something cnc'd and light like zoo tyers = schwalbe nobby nic front, big betty rear bb = 140mm so i could sell it for millions to those who run high-bb frames, wide rims and wide pads, like me crank = monty 231 pedals = magnesium ones, stronger than onzas headset = chris king or tesco breaks = 04 maggie with hope hosing and coustsinks, front drum brake or hope trials grips = echo perfumed chainring = chris king chain = khe collapse booster = um, a salt&vinegar squirrel? tubes = too difficult a choice bashring = double EC bars = 221Ti extended to 740mm actually has anybody ever used a drum brake in trials?

I get what you're mean but don't you think that all you're doing is becoming a chav yourself, and that beating up people is just wrong? But yeah, apart from that I can't say it's a bad idea. Tracksuits are also really comfortable to ride in. Probably wouldn't do any harm if you went around saying the bike you're riding is in fact stolen

They're 'tards who want to cause trouble. Just to remind you of what happened a while back, the pope was reading something out loud which offended the Muslims - it wasn't even his opinion but a text from a very old book... well, the Muslims made a huge row about it, demanded he apologized which he did just to be on the safe side but that only exacerbated matters. There were threats of a holy war and all that nonsense... I'd be surprised if even a tenth of these people knew what an opinion was and had one of their own. All you need is one bright person in a crowd of morons and within a matter of seconds he can make the mob say anything he wishes.

I can't believe people actually watch this shit...

With over 10,000 members out of which say 25% will fill out their details, that gives an average of 6,84 birthdays daily. These statistics can be used to find out when the most boring period of the year is, assuming parents decide to have kids because they have nothing better to do.

Never thought I'd say this about a Koxx but that must be the best looking mod ever

Add 3 links to a chain and it'll be hanging right down to the ground. You'd probably set it up with a single halflink on a 18:12 ratio or by running a different gear ratio and longer/shorter chain. Of course you could run a tensioner like that, I guess what Dave had in mind was that it's not worth the hassle.

Pink spray, sello tape, scissors and an A4 sheet of paper. You need McGuyver's skills to make some rimtape out of that so just watch a few episodes of him and you'll be fine.
