What makes a good movie? Probably unexpected moves, something you cannot predict until you watch the movie. For example I know that in the next Neil/CLS video I'll see 15 dropgaps out of which 8 will be repeated in B&W and in slow motion, 7 sidehops (all repeated in slow motion out of which 3-5 will be cut at the end so that we don't see the rider falling off) 2 bunnyhops and several gaps to front onto a rail (the rail being near a road). What will I see in Felixes Marco's or TRA's video? One can only guess. TRA may be a bit more predictable but then his movies are incredibly well made, have a great choice of music and classic oldschool riding. It's the videos you will be watching over and over again although they were released a few years ago which are the best. And IMHO trials is about getting up things and dropping, not only dropping. In the new school videos we mainly see riders falling off objects. Show off your technique, the technique which manifests the bike being a part of you, the ability to ride smoothly and not that you can accurately fall down onto a narrow object because that's what dropgaps basically boil down to. Please don't get vexed, I admire these riders for their immense skills and dedication towards this sport, I just don't like their videos. These were listed as an example. Alex

A purely technical question - is the carbon fibre imitation covered by laker or is it just stuck onto the frame like a normal sticker? It's also nice to see that not all you guys run left hand rear
-
it won't help, it's water vapour that is released, and that is water so you only get rid of the gasses when you have no water left
-
Yet if the water starts boiling all you need is to press the leaver, it will raise the pressure thus raising the boiling point of water. Am I right? Getting a bit off topic :$

wow I was expecting something along the lines of Nora's recent video, not a proper urban trials vid Keep it up Trials Queens !!

You are right. However there is no point in making a small freewheel (apart from it being impossible if it is to be screwed on) because you can buy a freehub. Profile gives 72 EP on a 18:12 ratio, whereas a King will deliver 108 EP on the ratio given. Frankly speaking I see no difference between 72 and 108 clicks, it's just a gimmick. The reason for having a FW on the front is so that you don't have to have a huge chainring on the cranks to make up for a 18/16T freewheel on the rear. And this is BECAUSE you can't make very small freewheels.

Best done job so far: Jaguar E-Type (USA) (2003-2004) Jaguar done for my dads' friend in London, he wanted a classic car but didn't want to pay too much for it Pagoda chosen to re-sell, awful vehicle but apparently percieved as THE car for snobbish women. Jaguar XJ120 & Mercedes Pagoda 280 Automatic (2003-2005) Plus non-documented work: 911T (neither targa nor turbo, dunno what the hell this was). Awful to drive, pretty awful performance and crappy looks. Sold in Poland. 911 T (not turbo) - (2003-2004) Current project, finished. Was writing a bit about this car in the car thread. Since then the problem with the turbo stopping the air from getting into the engine hasn't been resolved and this will be taken care of by Porsche once the car reaches London. So yes - the stronger you accelerate, the slower the car will go. If accelerating with the clutch down the engine will stop. This has it's on and off periods and sometimes works ok. Been good enough to have a go and check what a beast this car is. 420bhp, tested on a rolling road And by far the most sexy car I've ever seen. The pic looks crap comparing to how this car presents itself in real life. 911 (930) 3.3L Turbo (2005-2006) +dad's MGA which can be seen in the background in one of the albums. It's got a milage of 760 000 mind you, and dad's had it since 1963, bought it for 120 pounds edit: this is done as a business, not that we have 10 cars in the garage

--> QUOTE(joe b @ Apr 16 2006, 01:09 PM) ←Jesus! That's bleeding really bad. What actually happened? Was it a graze or a pure cut? Cheers, Joe. bb snapped on a large drop to flat creating a razor sharp spit which went through my leg and partly through an artery, that's why there was so much blood

Can't recall eating something so horrid I'll never forget it. Being small I'd always vomit when eating a half-done egg but it's purely up in my head. How can you? Marmite is among the three things I miss most after moving to Poland

Well the only thing I can recommend is, if you are running a narrow chain, to throw the bashring on a lathe and grind it down near the thread so that the chaingring can be screwed in deeper. However I wouldn't recommend running a bashring at all because you've already stripped a bit of the thread. Doing so will almost certainly result in stripping the remainders of the thread in the crank. That would just be a waste. Maybe getting a very strong chainring and chain would allow you to happily use your bike without a rockring?

seconded, had 06 forks and 06 frames from echo group, none were welded properly, still got a zoo fork where the right stanchion is a few mm ahead of the left one. imo filing the disc mount on the fork is a good idea, wouldn't touch the disc if i were you. the mono trials disc is weak anyway. edit: or just put a small spacer above the hub axle to lower the front wheel a bit

By far the best frame I ever had was the 03 Team L (1030, 363 bb:?). All my mates also think that the Team was a winner and by far the best mod they had ridden (760mm bars, monty stock stem). Then goes the short GU Typhoon which was incredibly good, easy to bunnyhop, good on rocks, had the advantage of being a short bike but didn't feel like it. I wouldn't reccomend either the long GU or the Python. The GU L is longer than the python and is all together a crap frame. IMO it's just far too long, and feels much longer than the Python. Then you've got the Python which is a great frame if you've got the power to ride it. I hated it from the very first day I had it because of the long stays.

Built up a wheel and then realized that the spokes were in the wrong holes (offset holes on the rim, not inline).

http://www.spybot.info/ Works for various issues. Either way it's worth having so download it and give the computer a scan.

stuck at 17 red bull needed 22 is very difficult
-
the green McGura brakes would work well on the pure... but what would you run on your mod then

Far too much information, ads should be clean and simple. You might want to add all that information underneath in small letters just in case anybody's interested.
-
Great choice of music once again You poor fellows still have snow, but at least you've got a great place to ride

how about O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei ? Thats a classic worst song Love every second of its ridiculousness

Thanks for enlightening me How does Ti strength compare to aluminium then (taking into account an average, not specific grades and alloys)? edit: alright kind of answered my own question, just in case anybody else is interested, here it is: and it's 60% heavier than alu
