  1. Yeah, I'd consider how to improve or expand on the 1st one in Sunny's original post and perhaps #3 in the above post. It looks like something you'd find on a card. Needs to be more distinct and easier to read but it's going in a good direction in my opinion.
  2. Need to share this. No need to watch, just listen. [media=]
  3. I think Jolfa does it for a living?
  4. Yeah, had a drive in my friends M3 with that oil in the transmission and the gear changes were smooth as silk. Shame about the price though, like my friend said it costs more than a gearbox for an E36 It's fabulous isn't it And there's another green wheel on the other side! My row definitely helped get things done. The engine would have been in today if they didn't have to re-make all the brake lines which were rotting away. Also my dashboard is flocked
  5. My bad reaction on Wednesday must have changed something because I was sent these pictures yesterday, clearly propaganda - especially the one with somebody working on the car. Some goodies arrived today: Need to go there today, going to take a sedative before setting off this time.
  6. Don't like letting steam off in separate threads, get too much attention. Far prefer to just post a rant, get it off my chest and have nobody or a few people read it. I know what you mean about being woken up, it drives me mad too. On the few occasions that I fell out with my mates this was always the cause. Them making a noise or just chatting really loud in the same room at 2-3am with no consideration for the fact that someone wants to get some sleep. Not good? I'm hating this feeling right now, it feels like a hangover. Or like being high but it's not pleasant. One of the workers left me a message on facebook saying that he understands my reaction but that he must follow orders and if they are told to work on a different car, they cannot work on mine. He says he's been working on the M3 on and off in his free time trying to get things done. I'm going to get the car ready for the 26th no matter what, just hope things won't get too emotional in the process.
  7. Are they any good? Was considering them for the E38 but then got B12's instead in fear that FK's would be too hard. More of an angry thread post but since there isn't one... The M3 build has caused the first nervous breakdown in my life if that's the correct term. Having seen absolutely no progress yet again I completely lost it today and got fled with rage the likes of which I've never experienced in my life and didn't even imagine could be possible. For the whole day the only thought in my mind is to find the owner of the garage and beat him until he looses conciousness. I'm not even an agressive person, I'd never hurt another human being but I can't help it. Went by his house an hour ago to sort this out and he wasn't there. Not answering my calls. This is going to end very badly, I've lost all capacity for rational thought and I've been shaking with anger for 10 hours now. What the f**k is going on.
  8. Before you flush, try this page: http://www.efsmi.org/
  9. I'll tell you what I didn't do - masturbate.
  10. f**k me, that's a massive screen. I was very reluctant to get a "smartphone" at first, finally bought a Desire Z since someone on here recommended it and I must say that Android is possibly the most intuitive thing I've ever come across. As for apps, surely it depends on what you're going to use the phone for? Google navigation is pretty good, as is the mail client. I also frequently use the TED application where you can browse and play most of the talks they have on their website.
  11. I hope he doesn't become a dick when he hits puberty. He's an epic little guy at the moment though
  12. I have mold problems in my cellar. Don't really know how to help, not sure what you want to do with it? I've been having plaster walls installed in front of the concrerte/brick ones with a small gap in between to let it breathe. Not only is it good thermal insulation, it sorts out the mold problem which is blocked away. In other areas of the cellar where mold can be an issue, we just make sure there's enough sunlight and good ventilation, scrub the nasty stuff off and use anti-fungal spray. After minor floods which happen every few years we use de-humidifiers which remove even 6L of water from the air each day. That helps dry the walls. We did have drain issues at one stage, the whole wall of the house was soaked through. Another time a pipe cracked inside the wall which caused a similar problem, if the wall is damp I'd recommend you check if there are any pipes there.
  13. I'd gladly take part in this if I had the same motivation for making trials vids as I had a few years ago. Great idea, good luck with it!
  14. Not counting on any traction in 1st gear but this should sort out 2nd gear and onwards
  15. Fair point, but if you're not infringing any copyrights that belong to companies which then claim funds from Youtube, then you shouldn't have any ads in your vids if I remember correctly. So essentially what you're saying is "I'm stealing a soundtrack and don't want the record companies to reclaim funds from me using it". It'd be pretty cynical of me to condone that so I'm not, just pointing out that the ads are there for a reason. However, I'm pretty sure YT doesn't use ads in any other circumstances unless the user wants to monetize. As for the re-buffering when going fullscreen, you can change the settings for that not to happen. It annoyed me a lot but happily got round that.
  16. Haven't bumped into any of those problems to be honest, at least with my own videos. As for ads, just use AdBlock Plus. It really blocks pretty much all of them.
  17. Can't wait myself, trying not to think about it too much. There's more and more stuff that needs doing as we progress, most recent is a fire extinguishing system or whatever it's called in english. Original staggered motorsports going on, got completely re-furbished and polished set waiting. Incidentally, I passed a stunning Mercedes SEC today and had a thought - why does one frequently see nice old Mercs, nice old Bimmers but no nice old Audis? Does something like an old Audi actually exists? Taking about 70's or early 80's designs.
  18. Same here, only heard positive things about those. Thanks for the insight into the tyre paint, might give it a go. Not really concerned about how it will look a few weeks in, chances are the car will be all scratched and dented by then anyway.
  19. Yeah, no real reason behind purchasing an HS33 rather than an HS11. Both brakes are a pig to bleed. Haven't managed to bleed mine other than in a bath, many of my riding buddies had the same problems despite following the service manual to the dot. And of course the new brakes leak a lot. From my experience (I sell these things) on average about 20% of them fail within a few months.
  20. Someone on here did something like this a few years ago: Question is how long does this tyre paint last and how resilient is it to rain, cleaning and the actual movement of the tyre? I accidentally bought a set of 595's instead of Michelin slicks. I wanted the slicks partly for a photo shoot for when the car is ready, due to it's purpose it'd look a lot better on proper racing tyres than just ordinary black sidewall stuff. Now I have to paint these so they look roughly like this:
  21. I think most people on here will enjoy this vid enormously. Just watch it. [media=]
