  1. That's what I thought initially, take a closer look. The Python is completely different.
  2. My vote goes for the 2004 Zoo Python. Measuring the chainstay length should give you a quick answer, it should be 375mm. edit: on second thought it doesn't look like a Python...
  3. I've been doing Krav but the same will apply to any other discipline - boxing, kickboxing, wing chun, karate etc. The benefits of this depend on the instructor, ours is very good which has been confirmed by many people who transferred from a different academy. A good instructor will not only teach you the techniques but also make sure his group gets stronger and improves their stamina. There's major emphasis on that during every class and it really pays off after a few months. I've now got muscles I didn't have last year and after attending a beginners class a few months ago, I barely broke sweat whereas the other guys hardly found the strength to keep their guard. I was in the same spot as them when I started in 2010, it was so satisfying to see how much my body had improved throughout the course of the year. My riding also improved, could ride for longer - 6-9 hours a day every day on natural spots in the mountains compared to 3-4h every 2 days in the past years.
  4. I'll sell you a sack of crap for £12 posted.
  5. If it's that then I'm very unaware of it. What I'm aware of is reaching a conclusion that the given girl isn't worth my time after a few dates and that I can't even be arsed to poke her. Happened hmm 10 times this year? It always works in a simlar way: first date usually ends with me thinking it's worth pursuing the matter further. 2nd leaves me thinking "meh...", 3rd usually takes place only if the girl insists and confirms my belief that this is not the person I'm after. Maybe to some of you this is a trivial or funny matter but it's starting to worry me.
  6. Just throwing ideas around. I've never been to spinning classes before so it would be difficult to compare but I did take up MA 1,5 years ago and gained a lot overall strength, speed and stamina. If you start in a beginners group you're not going to get your head kicked in either. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to "fix their body up" if you catch my drift.
  7. Let me throw a hypothetical in here. Lets say you had some bad experiences with girls in the past - say emotional trauma after one or two breakups. Do you think it's possible for the subconciousness to block any thoughts leading to the realisation that you want to be in a long term relationship with someone? As in just finding stupid flaws with every girl which stop you from further pursuing the relationship?
  8. Take up some form of MA? You'll not only gain muscle, lose fat but also learn something practical and enjoy yourself in the process.
  9. This forum has seen the use of cheese as a braking compound so your idea is not as ridiculous as it may seem to some.
  10. MTS is MPEG-2 if I'm not mistaken. You can use Xilisoft video converter to change the format to something different. You can also try changing the extension from MTS to M2T and see if Vegas accepts it. As for normal viewing, VLC should be able to play these files with ease.
  11. Why aren't LGM's on that list? edit: Definitely LGMs.
  12. It's a repost and yes, it's epic. My favourite video of the year by far.
  13. Each has its pros and cons. Overall I think the Echo is a better bike.
  14. Hitatchi or DeWalt would be my choices, problem is that a proper cordless drill will cost way more than you want to spend. If you want to sort out the charging issue, you could present your dad with a personalised 2012 calendar. Just take a picture of the battery in the charger and add caption along the lines of "have you charged me today?". Attatch the picture to the image below and you've got youself a brilliant hand made present which will help your family bond.
  15. Thought it was him. I hope he's a positive superhero.
  16. I'm no good at classifying music into generes but some ideas might be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUlJp7H-1Vo And not quite what you're looking for but you might like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRFvoZprSG4
  17. Must be something new, M2T which I've been using since 2006 doesn't need rendering (talking about HD here) unless effects are applied to the footage. Those render at the rate of 10/20fps so take almost no time at all to play the timeline back. On the other hand, MP4 in CS3 rendered at around 1fps and required rendering of the WHOLE timeline, in a 3min vid at 60p that would have taken 1 hour per minute of footage. It doesn't make sense, even if MPEG4 needs a more powerful machine, the fastest CPU currently on the market is only 2x more powerful than the one I've got.
  18. It'd be understandable if this thread was meant to talk people who have recently spotted snow out of suicide. But you people are getting quite horny over this white garbage.
  19. That's what I use for converting, it's quite a good piece of software. As for rendering I'm not sure. If not, then it would be because rendering would take hours. The discount on Premiere CS5 is about 50% for students which still makes it stupidly expensive for casual use. Besides, I'm no longer a student. As for torrents, I won't lie that I tried but the HD codecs are not implemented in the installer (which is always a trial) and they will download automatically from Adobes serves only after you provide a valid serial. This is a bit ridiculous, there should be a version of Premiere for personal use only. I'd gladly buy something like that.
  20. So I'd probably best stick with what I'm using? Definitely not going to use Vegas again, it's rubbish. And despite my PC being fairly powerful (2.83 C2Q) it struggled with playing back the timeline smoothly. Tried CS3 and it supported the MP4 files but that too couldn't play the footage back smoothly. So it sounds like I'm stuck with converting MP4 to MPEG-2. Quality loss isn't big but it wastes quite a lot of time, especially if you're handling 15-minute 720p60 files.
  21. Because bikes are very expensive, you're better off building one up by yourself.
  22. It looks like a steel fork off a town bike. Good riding btw.
  23. Can you recommend any good editing software? I've been using Premiere 2.0 for years now but it doesn't support mp4/h.264/avchd or whatever the format is that the GoPro records in. Footage needs to go through a converter first which is a pain in the arse and takes ages. I used to get on with the old Premiere brilliantly, it's fine for the old HDV M2T files, useless for the modern stuff. I'm looking at something cheap or free, wouldn't mind getting the newest Premiere if it were a quarter of the price Sony Vegas is an absolute no-go, tried it in the past and found it to be the most annoying and counter-intuitive piece of software imaginable.
  24. Had them for around 5-6 years now.
