    Headunits

An after market head unit for your car will improve the sound a little over a standard one. After market units are generally much more powerfull so the signal they send to the speakers is stronger and cleaner. To get a much improved sound, you need to replace the standard speakers as well. Or for the best sounding, start from scratch, soundproof the car, put in new cables, headunit, speakers, amps etc
  5. CRM Plazzies on the back. Awaiting a disc for the front
  6. Ive got an onza hog rim with a 2.5 maxxis tyre in my pitbull and have more than enough tyre clearance
  7. I wouldnt say its dying but with the variations of bikes now, quite often you have to make the choice which style you intend to ride. I used to ride a heavy tools frame which i found easy to manual, bunnyhop etc due to it being a short frame. Ive moved onto a longer pitbull frame as i prefer doing things on the back wheel which was trickier on a short bike. Ive since found bunnyhops, manuals and other "streetier" moves to be much more effort.
  8. In theory a rim brake should be the better due to the extra leverage. However, disks can have larger surface areas and bigger callipers. Plus, external factors (ie, dirt, water etc) mean a disk is probably the stronger push bike brake
  9. If i can find the pics i will scan in a few of me on a 17" Orange clockwork. True classics i tell thee. They were taken at a demo way before most people!!
  10. Id like to see trials featured more in the media and become more of a known sport. The downside to that would be the tits that will jump on the bandwagon and cause grief. Cant see frames and components advancing too much more for the time being. Technology needs to advance 1st! Also cant see prices dropping much more as shipping and material costs arent going to be reduced. O and more dedicated trials parks, either at established skateparks or on their own in accesible places
  11. Steve irwin is a nutter but he aint a dumb ass like that bloke in the video!!
  12. Usually between 6-10 hours a week at the moment. More in the summer but the weather sucks at the mo
  13. Not naming individuals as i would be here for ages but..... I personally think the french stock riders are ahead of anyone else at the moment. Some of the stuff they do is immense. Mod wise, its gota be the spaniards.
  14. In a way that was lucky!! Could have been soo much worse if that was a faceplant onto the bollard
  15. I just tighten till it wont turn anymore!
  16. Im in the same boat chap. Can get the front up and an roll the back on but wheel swapping is doing my nut! Ive laid off practising for a while as im swapping the front maggie for a hope disk. I think my issue is the comittment i need to go into the endo from a forward lunge. Im not kicking the rear wheel up enough to swap. Hopefully a disk will have the extra power to give me that confidence as i dont trust the maggie at the front
  17. Id guess at a couple of spokes need tightening. Unfortunately mail order wheels probs get bashed about in the mail vans
  18. Ive got about 20psi in the rear with a hog rim and maxxis slow reezaay 2.5 tyre and 15 ish in the front on a sun rim with tioga 2.1 tyre
  19. Well a spell checker for starters! And tuck your trouser leg into your sock if the chain grabs it.
  20. Rear wheel is a good start and new tyres, some grippy ones

  22. THe hog doesnt have that line on it. At least it didnt after a grind before it got to me.
  23. Looks like your going to have to sand down the pads each time chap. The hog is a wiiiddde rim!
