  1. rides alright, i could ride it as good as my echo lite pretty swiftly.. but i havent had the time to really give it the time it needs for me to know yet... ehrmagerd brad hasn't told me to improve or change anything on my bike, take that TF!
  2. thought i'd pop some photos up before i ruin her... spec ist: echo purple stuff, superstar mag pedals hope XC brake (lethal) monty race tyre, kenda bmx thing ont' front. TT highrisers TT hubs TT sport bb Jaff stainless steel cams... comes in just under 9kg... my only niggles with the frame are that the clearance is quite tight on the seat stays and the matte finish is a filth magnet. frame feels good and stiff geo is nice enough, need a bit o' time before i can really call it though... and heres the previous frame being loved
  3. that kenda on the front for street. ..
  4. Thanks bing. Any one destroyed one yet? I'm getting the rim re anodised so I need reasonable wear life to justify the extra cost... I'm smoother than I used to ever be though... how do you find spokes last on rear disc
  5. I'm 90kg+ love my static gaps.. I'd consider myself prety alright at this trials business. .. I haven't pinched it yet.. I run a modest tube. Ive landed a few things and expected that unwelcome hissing of a pinch but it never comes. Grip is ace. I nostly ride street though.. but when ive played on rocks ive not been disappointed. It sheds mud well too. Wear rate is fair. You dont get alot of tread on the tyre though. Sidewalls feel good. Different to my creepy crawler... took a while to adjust to them but I'm definitely happy with the tyre.
  6. Hey tf. Im wanting a lighter set of wheels on my mod. What are my best options of light parts that I wont annihilate. .. dont want any eyeletted rims as im re anodizing the rims...
  7. I love my monty race tyre...
  8. because color frame is not bad... seatstays don't offer quite enough clearance..
  9. it may just need tightening up. try tightening the crank bolts first; see if it persists, then you know its your BB, if your new to bikes in general take it to a local bike shop, pay them to look/sort it. but ask if they'll show you how/what they do so you'll know in the future...

    Echo SL forks

my friend has been using them with no complaints since last summer, he loves his moves to front, and isn't a fairy with his bikes... but he's about 11 stone. you know if you can ride light parts... if your a basher or your current rig is tatty as balls and creaking like a haunted house. get burly gear.. if you can run dainty equipment and seldom ruin things, enjoy light forks....
  11. because gelpr is here!

    Tough mudder

I've just bought my ticket for tough mudder in september, i know its a long way off but it doesn't hurt to get training now... anyone else giving it a go? or done one before? also as a royal mail employee i can get matched fundraising for prostate cancer, so if you'd like to donate to my efforts i'll have some kind of link available soon...
  16. just bought a ticket to tough mudder... oohra

  17. needs laser etching to be legit..
  18. 185... if you dont find that enough your pads are contaminated or Your dick is to small or Your ego may be lacking something... seriously I have never thought I needed more rotor size. Save some weight and fork stress... Based on my ass being 95kg and running one on a stock No problem
  19. cause if she was able to do anything worthwhile with her life, she wouldn't degrade herself on the internet with this shit. it's borderline prostitution, in the sence of she's doing something tallent-less for money (she has since been paid to attend events for her 'celebrity' status). it's sad that she knew she would benefit from doing this. its worse that she was correct about it.
  20. new frame in a week!

  21. or push it into the floor... bearings are press fit, just like a headset, how do you remove one of those
  22. Good for you kidney. I doubted your gripes online but your clearly not just being a stereotypical mopey teenage fag. So power to you and good luck with things!
  23. anyone wanna be awesome and explain why... i feel there is a need for a definitive guide to choosing stems. ultimatley its horses for courses, and there's some stubborn and weird mother f**kers out there who will use the wrong bits and tell everyone they are great anyway. but it'd be nice to have an explanation of why longer/shorter more up/down and how bars can influence it.
  24. maybe his wrists can't hack moves to front like they used to? although it would have made more sense to make a pure geo frame with a saddle if it was for public appeal... and release a seatless/seat version with the same geo...
  25. my new magnesium pedals arrived, i've turned into a weight weenie it would seem. although none of my important parts are super SL... more practical/lightest options... my new frame arrives next friday, aww yeah. also i packed in smoking, had 2 smokes last week and survived all weekend, monday/tuesday clean. my lungs don't burn when i exercise. yay
