Nope. Once again the brake is fine. Although all these comment about it make me wonder now Theres got to be a reason somewhere what someone knows! Thanks, keep 'em coming.
-
Thats what i thought. Maybe thats why he sold it. The brake is setup perfect. I might try a magura on it tommoro. Any one else with an idea?
-
Oh yeah i fogot to say i trued it but being radial it's not perfectly straight. But my other wheel was worse and no problems there.
-
With my front vee i have the problem with the lever coming in further sometimes on different places around the rim. It isn't the vee brake by the way. That is all perfect. I put it down to the fact that the rim has a grind and the grind is deeper is some places of the rim which then causes the pads to come in further? This is the only thing i can think of. I bought the wheel second hand off here so i'm not sure what the guy did to it. Any ideas?

I recon they would look horrible to be honest. However i do think long Pythons look a bit dirty due to there length.
-
I don't do split links. They are asking for disaster even on a bmx. It because of the Echo external bb i'm having the aligment problem. The khe feels gastly on the Profile with the alignment out.
-
But mods are designed for back wheel moves like high bb frames are. So that would be the conclusion you are getting at. I still don't understand your topic. It's just an information topic, right?
-
I went for a ride in the dark and the wet found a new nice gap and bam my chain snaps. Ooow my knee. I'm running a Echo external bb and a profile. The alignment is off and the chain would click slightly because of this. There wasn't really any catching or serious problems but i wonder did my chain snap because of the alignment? I fogot to say it's on a mod. If you hadn't already guessed. I guess it's going to be a KHE collapse now, stolen off the bmx. Although i was thinking maybe a big fat moto chain. I saw one guy running one. It looks alright and damn it ain't going to snap, well it shouldn't. But then again my chain shouldn't of! I leave you guessing to what i was running. £25 it cost me. Heat treated as well. Maybe i should get some pics tommoro.

Almost the best video i've seen recently. 'otherside'. I never saw that back then. Hook to 180 JJ's section on Revolution. (dunno how to spell his second name) I lent my copy of Trial Noir to Kurt Brain and he was saying that it was being filmed when he was riding trials which was a few years back.

Mines top notch since i got validated Although i should be I. But that just sucks. So i don't even bother with it.
-
Just remembered, did anybody call pedaling bunnyhops 'camel hops'? Or was that just a local thing. Surely not. Camel hop to back wheel

'Alan key', so he is a real guy then When will they get rid of the star fangled nuts all together? Such an annoying thing. Just like wheel movement. I guess nothing comes as standard these days.
-
This one. I used to ride one of my bmx. Until i went internal. I also use it on my mod. But the black one will go from the old bmx to the stock. No problems, cheap and stylish LINK I just noticed the Viz headsets there. Needle bearings, sweet!

Not allot to be honest. They are very short and don't appeal to people unless they're Monty riders. I didn't find them to nice either.
-
The public are a general nuisance i find. The happy old guys who are 70+ tend to be alright though. They are cool to have a chat with.

Plazmatics get used more in the summer. But yeah the pad reviews section. As everyone else is too lazy to help you out, here a free link.
-
Now thats a question you should ask the 'search button'. You probably won't like the reviews about them. But it does depend on how hard you will ride it. I can advise DX32 rims. These are solid and cheap, plus grinds last a while on them. Tartybikes for one of those. £25. Not bad

What is going on with this thread? If you edited your first post it would of been more helpful, unless you were going for an added bump. You did by the way miss a space and a full stop. Doesn't really matter though. And for the second part, well i haven't got a clue.? As for the 221pr thing, its looks the part. I would buy it if i had the money for sure. Monty's are generally used for anything these days so don't worry. They can crack and snap but lets be fair, its a light frame which is cheap to replace. It does depend on how hard you ride it though. If your going to be smacking your bash guard into walls at 15mph everyday then it probably will break. Look after her then she'll be riding sweet for a few years.

I can't believe no one has helped you out. Most people tend to jump at topics like this but i guess there all wound up in the 'what do you prefer topics' I bet because no one has helped your still riding D521s or the newer version (whatever they're called) No i am not putting D521's down, just using them as an oldskool example. Ok we have, in no particular order: Tartybikes Cleanbikes Trials-uk Selectbikes Trialsman Trialsfutur Now your going to ask which shop is best or 'which one do you prefer' Couldn't help that one. I would go for Tarty or Trials-uk Maybe try out some of the others as well to see what their service is like. Your choice. But least you have somewhere to spend all that cash.

What about highest drop to manual? But anyhow mine would be 6ft. I don't go around drop hunting though.
-
Don't worry which ever bike you buy i'm sure it will break just after you get it. Happens to all of us. The point being, have you looked into second hand bikes? A 221pr for £300? As an example. I know you can't post. But can't you pm?

Middleburns wouldn't be soo bad on a mod i would of thought. Or Echo cnc's. Or if you want to really save money (ignore the post above) buy the forged version. They also come in isis and 170mm.

So there were people in Bristol yesterday then! I didn't see if it was as scubie, but that could of been me and the other guys. Did you have Pixie and Ben (the loud kid) in your car?

I noticed that when the new members get upgraded to a real member then their spelling, gramma and everything else drops below standard as they don't have to try to be a member any more. Which isn't a very good thing really. I think the rules are there to stop spam and pointless posts so when you open a thread it's actually worth reading. I find that when seeing some of the poor sentences which are put together, it just makes the posts harder to read. Also some of the 'txt talk' isn't actually 'txt' talk. Just an abbreviation which is in the English dictionary. So it is allowed i guess. But it's not very common here. I think seeing more 'mod or stock' topics is more annoying than reading misspelled words. But is OT and IMO condidered 'txt talk' or an abbreviation? Slightly off topic here. But ah well.

Don't ask that question. Our hopes of a semi-local trials park will disappear.
