HERE Why do some people not like this game? It's well cool i thought.
-
20 quid on a wheel build? It would actually be cheaper to send it to me, i then build it, then send it back. Save around a fiver. But go for it. Get some new parts.
-
ummm. not too sure on that one. ELASTOMANIA for the win That game rules.
-
I gave up buying dvds unless they are trials ones or a 5er on pijin. I paid 20 quid for the Shadow dvd from Motion park. It's now a 5er on pijin! Never again! I bought a few now for 5 quid. Seems like they are REALLY worth it then.
-
Trials for me is riding on my own. 95% of the time.
-
You could possibly get an automatic win if there wasn't any Deng products on your bike? Although why would that be a high scorer? Because that is a rare thing? I like my (echo) bike.

The question is, is the bottom bracket sealed. I can't seem to find what bike it is you bought. I 99% its the bottom bracket thats loose. It will have a nut to tighten the bottom bracket. A big one around the size of 25mm and another of the same size which is a locking nut. So take the crank off. Most likely right hand side. Then loosen the locking nut (the outer one). Tighten the inner nut (not to much so the cranks spin). Then tighten the locking (outer nut) to lock. Put crank back on and enjoy smoothness. Bottom brackets don't unscrew unless it's euro. Then yes euro they do unscrew the same way. Quick desciption for you. USA BB- big bearings in cups. tap into frame with mallet. MID BB- push in big usa bearings without the cups. EURO BB- screw in, smaller bearings. SPANISH BB- push in euro bearings. If you are having to unsrew your bearings then you have euro bb. So it will be sealed. So what i have explained at the top was useless. So yeah like OBM said it will be your cranks. Yes if you are a little nipper with short legs.

I know i don't live anywhere near you but hopefully i can help. The obvious one. Dis-used warehouses. Take a trip to these places. supermarkets. always undercover somewhere. and something to ride. the woods. find some trees to go under to stop some of the rain. get some pallets up there or big logs. possibly cut a big tree down? luton airport? an indoor car park? big bridges next to the motoway. underneath is always alot of room for some, yes pallets. ask your local farmer if you can put the broken old pallets of his under the barn roof. tell him you will wash his tractor or car. Yes some dumb ass ideas but if you give it some thought and effort you will find some new places to go. Also you never know some new spots. This time looking around will also get you out side and pass the time. Hope i helped

I scored 250 for my echo lite mod. Only from running a front vee. It does say front and rear. But if that is the case then 0. But i like to think it does.

Is that Kurt Brain on the far left (bottom picture)?
-
A quick tip for you. Once the pads have bed in, don't move them. This will help in the long run. Once the break is working don't attempt to set it up again as it will most definatly become worse.
-
95 perhaps? Was the blue x-lite before the green? Kurt was on a Echo? By they way he still rips on what ever he rides. I used to buy my mod stuff direct from Monty england as there was no shops.
-
Deano doesn't ride at all pretty much now. He still has an Echo es1 Seriously i don't know which one it is. But it's got a seatpost hole, so one of the ES range? Ok 2 more. Triple clamps on mods. Only just remembered when pulled out some old vids. [attachmentid=8342] Ultimate mountain biking: Ot Pi section with U brakes and Triple Clamps. I need to get my copies of Evolve and Revolution back! JJ section kicked. And 'one wheel vs two'
-
What did happen to X-street. I remember Deano riding for them or almost riding for them ages ago. Some of you might have known him.
-
Yeah man blue with fat tubing. I wonder if the guy down the bike shop has still got the second hand one hanging up. Selling for 600 quid for just the frame. No doubt it's still there. Trialskings was jaw dropping stuff. I remember seeing that stuff and drueling. What about the racelines with super long levers.
-
haha, i did say it was a great example of what not to get.

I'm not to sure about the internals being the same. There has been alot of debate on Deng's new freehubs, with a few people reporting some bad and some real bad problems/ mishaps going on with them. Profiles on the other had don't tend to go wrong within a year. They have nice 8mm allen bolts which are great to tighten up with. With parts available like Ti 1 piece drivers and Ti allen bolts you have the option of lightening up the hub a fair bit. Available at £120 when their on sale is always a good thing and salablity of them tends to be that much so no loss there. They also contain 2 more bearings than Deng's hubs which are healthier for the driver. The down side only available in 36h. Or try out the Zoo freehub and prove us wrong.

Like the first thread said about Tioga tyres. At the bikeshow in Birmingham, 1 in 3 guys had a pair of Tioga 2.3 DH tyres hanging on their shoulders which cost a 10/15 for a pair. Bichimen/ Tar was thing to run. Kool stop reds were amazing. Sidehops? What sidehops??

You shouldn't really bother with those coverters i recon. Instead buy some, Plazmatic V-fly Vee Pads or Heatsink CNC backed Red Pads for Vee Both are superb. The flys are more spungy but hold alot nicer. Especially on chrome rims.
-
You proberly know 200 isn't going to get you very far. Some things you want to look for when purchasing a bike at a low price. 14mm axles Sealed hubs Sealed BB Better than standard rims. Black box, bfr, rhyno's etc. Rather than the mx22 rims and mus 16. Full chromo frame. Not just one tube being chromo and the others hi-ten. It WILL snap. Chromo forks. 1 piece steerer if possible. No micro gearing. Cheap cassettes aren't wise. Tyres that suit your riding. Cheap gyro's suck. But i guess you will be getting a single cable anyway. Hope that helps. Found this one. HERE This would be a great example of what bike to avoid.

Monty foam grips? Use your old ones further down the bar then put the new ones on after. Works rather well. Feels and looks cool as well.
-
Those pegs look rather nice. Shame there not ti though. None the less shiny. The seat made me grin for a second.

I didn't post for ages and didn't get validated then ended up posting a wtd/fs topic which got me a warning. But once you get into reading and writing on the forum you soon get validated. Just don't try to hard.

Thanks for the input guys. I have rang around locally and haven't found anything. Apart from a bike shop who done it for me and that is an hour bus journey away. They also took ages to do it. Then a mate said to me that it was real poor job, being some sort of engineer he said he would do it. But it's been a right pain to sort it out with him. Plus i need 5 threads doing. So DAVE85 where did you get your kit from? Can i get a link. Thanks

So i will need a tap and die kit as well?
