  1. What time are you planning on getting to Bristol? I could be out earlier rather than later. Harbour Festival this w/e so some of the spots won't be free. Still, there's more than enough to do in a day.
  2. What about the guys who were shot with pellet guns? One across the finger and the other lodged in his leg which had to be removed when he finished the stage. Mad stuff.
  3. It's been raining all morning. This fair weather rider won't be out.
  4. Come on Luke, get involved!
  5. I can't see it as a problem. There are no rules and the gloves are off in a sprint. Cav has an insane team for leading out sprints and thay assemble themselves to near perfection. What you're suggesting with ethics is that it's HTC's right to have everyone lined up and control the sprint. Someone has to be next wheel, why not Thor? He's trying to win as well. Everyone is marking Cav and trying to get as close to him as possible. If Cav wasn't there HTC would hardly form a train for the other teams sprinters. When they do get organised they know exactly where there man is the whole time which works to perfection. Yeah Cav is the fastest sprinter on the planet but the organisation has a lot to do with it.

Loving the papercraft. This a proposal of a breakfast tray for a friend. 2nd image is a photo of the real thing which is now going in some exhibition.
  7. Yeah it is a bit stealth... Rides amazing, not unlike my Control but more flicky.
  8. Cav has another 3 stages he wants to win including Champs-Élysées. I love the brashness of the man.
  9. Could be up for this. You should be able to find parking on Clarence Rd near Temple Meads down from the Peugeot garage.
  10. I follow it each year and should be there now if the Home Office hadn't fukd up my visa. I have massive respect for Lance and watched him race in 2005. Sad to see Cadel so far down after the TTT. I had the pleasure of racing against him back in his MTB days so would like to see him win it one year.
  11. Have THIS A sheep has a rumen which enables it to digest grass. This is basically a large fermentation tank where various bacteria break down grass to produce digestible food. This process produces a lot of gas! The fermentation tank has a pipe in at the front and a pipe out at the back. When the sheep is upsidedown, these exits are blocked so the gas produced cannot escape and just builds up in the rumen until the poor sheep's lungs are crushed and it is unable to breathe. Heres the link if you still don't believe me.. Baaaaaa
  12. Sheep die when on their backs so that guy should rename his sheep seat to sheep final resting place.
  13. Anything with sniper action. Saving private Ryan, Enemy At The Gates. Straying of topic a bit Sniper, Shooter.
  14. Yeah do it, this should be encouraged even if it fails miserably. You learn from mistakes but there's very little risk unless your rim is poorly made or you drill too big. You might be limited on the hole size depending on the drill chuck and if the shank of the drill bit is turned down or not. As said, centre punch, pilot hole and then drill. Go to about 12-14mm. It's boring and won't save you much weight but might look cool with some rim tape.
  15. Awesome as usual. Likewse, I can't do most of that stuff with brakes.
  16. I was linked to it from a mate in Aus on a singlespeed website. Truly awesome that it's getting the recognition it deserves.
  17. Excellent work, i'm impressed with the way it's been thought out and attention to detail, not just from a manufacturing point of view. The levers look very tactile (large flat surface) and easy to use and you've backed that up with figures. Someone mentioned the XC style dual control shifters and although they appear to be a clumsy design they are easy to use, particularly by pushing down on the lever. IMO what you have desigend would give a natural feel after a short period of time. From a XC point of view I can see the advantages and disadvantages. Drinking & eating etc whilst racing for example still gives you full control. I'm not sure I would like to be using one hand for a 2hr race (or enduro) to do all the braking though. What you need now is to produce a dual control shift system for the other side of the bars. Hope it works out well. OT: what program are you using and what post rendering package have you used?
  18. Yes. They all wear helmets all of the time.
  19. Only concrete blocks and 60+mph descents - theres been a few deaths. Helmets became compulsory some years ago.
  20. I'm surprised. Mother firetrucker...

    Sat Nav

Garmin Nuvi 660 FM. Has been faultless, also had the 'get on ferry' experience but in Norway (shows the car over water). WS, touch screen, easy to use, can load your tunes on and play through car stereo, upload new cars, pedestrian mode, traffic alerts... Not used any others so a bit biased I guess.
  22. Haha, exactly what I was thinking. Damn it Jim, i'm a doctor not a pool man.
