  1. For about 2500? on nearest offer?...something is wrong with it...
  2. Stick with petrol if you want a faster acceleration. If you wanted a diesel to have anywhere near as fast pull off as a petrol then you would deffo need a turbo diesel. Look for about a 1.7 TD Corsa, nice cars and theres plenty of them about. A diesel should save you money on insurance too, but I think the word turbo will pile it on again...
  3. A red bull goes into a pub, barman says "ayup mate! We've got a drink named after you", the bull replies "What, Eric?"
  4. Lol, what did he say about them? Poor sod, I bet he was well embarrassed! lol

    Autopsy

Did you see the one on cancer, they put an old woman in a box and filled it with polythene foam and then cut her up on a giant bandknife. Seemed a bit odd though. I work were we make our own foam in the same process they did. And I really don't think the process would work like it did... 1. No foam sets hard as quick as that did (normally about 3 days), 2. The body just happened to be perfectly in the middle of the block, even though she was lying flat on the base of the box and the chemicals were poured in, and the chemicals react and forms the foam...its not like you can float in it, and even if you could, you'd never get it perfectly into the centre. and finally 3. On the huge bandknife, did you see how clean the cut was? No dust from the foam, perfectly sliced ograns with no dragging from the blade (even though he stopped halfway though the cut). Not saying its fact as such, but it just seemed too perfect.

    Autopsy

Anyone been watching the Life And Death Autopsy on TV this week? No one seems to watch it but I think its really interesting. Suprised they were allowed to produce it on TV though at any time of day. I think the one last night (poisons) has been the best so far. Its on about 11pm-ish tonight, watch it!
  7. I don't like it, looks too cheap, lol. I mean, the frame is too skinny (which I don't like), no colour and it just doesn't look right. ...nice reflectors though.
  8. Meh, better then the gypsie kids by far, but still, I personally didn't find it that impressive (if thats the right word? lol). It misses the shock factor, yea, it all looked fun especially with the fire extinguishers and jumping off the bridge, but they are still things I'd do myself as is the other stuff. Fair enough, if you showed that to your parents or something you could predict the comments, but as an audience of 10-20 year olds on here it doesn't look much. I think if you're going to make a video (and have a lot of time to waste) then you need to do things that people will shudder at, personally, I don't find topless boys and spanking with cooking utensiles much fun
  9. Opps, I meant a word processed letter agains't an email...forgot to add that little bit in there
  10. The reason why companies back out of copyright permission is not the fact that you are promoting their products, its often about HOW you are promoting it and if you and your business are good enough. An example being that would you allow your computer company to be advertised by a company with a bad reputation? Of course not, as it reflects on yourself. More often then not, companies won't really care about your company history (unless you're becoming a verified dealer), so really its just first appearances. Have a classy website, good spelling/grammar...make it professional, not personal. Good luck.
  11. I have some 661's, not sure what model they are...Halfords, 20 quid. Although, I don't really like them, they seem too bulky. When I did moto-trials I had both Hebo Teams and another Hebo set which were like a spandex material, close to the skin and all that, which a fair bit of protection. I hardly ever used them as they were so thin that the vibration of the bike went straight though it and it annoyed me, however now I can't find them. I'd love to have them for my bike and its like you're not wearing gloves at all. I got them on a trip to Spain, never ever seem them in the UK, and I've never known anyone else to have a pair and I have also never seem them on the internet...so, pretty rare. Although I guess there will be millions of gloves like that, but just not Hebo ones...and obviously not as sexy.
  12. That appauling customer service! Until that bike reaches your doorstep it is trialsshops responsibility, the frame SHOULD have been insured (I think its anything over the value of 100 pounds) and you shouldn't have had to ring DHL and sort all the messy bits out. Anyway, I might have mis-understood it and you still got a new frame, but thats bad customer service from the start!
  13. Most of my family are in the Army, they suprisingly don't give a shit about most stuff. I don't know about the army supplying a bike for you, as I've had this conversation with my cousin before. If you bought your own bike on site it is no problem but asking for a 500 odd quid bike, you'd probably just get laughed at, as I was told anyway. But hey, all bases are different...who knows? If you bought your own bike you would be allowed to go practice at the weekends and after hours. People have a view of the army as being a 24/7 thing, which it is throughout basic training, but after that then you are allowed to have a life.
  14. I've pulled a muscle in my back twice, one at the top, one in the middleish. Hurts like hell, can't breathe or anything. Mine got better after about a week or so, but I agree with Mark, don't bother riding until its healed. Your back is a weird thing, anything you do to it now will have a bigger affect in 10 years. Your back might feel fine and then you ride and completely f**k it up and backs are hard things to heal, so its really not worth it. Give it a week or so.

    Neighbours

Wow! I'm so glad someone else thought of that. I heard the woman say it during the interview...I said 'nice pun'...no one laughed Girlfriend watches it...I cannot stand it, or any other soap for that matter. Always depressing and never make any sense. I think anyone that lived in a place called 'Albert Square' and they had constant bad luck, someday, they would catch on and move away? Do you think theres anyone in the world called Albert Square?
  16. I remember when Jackass came out...although about 50% of the content was originally CKY stuff, it seemed pretty harsh going...And then Dirty Sanchez was born. Not that I ever really watch it, but I remember that Jackass was over-rated to f**k compared to Dirty Sanchez. I wish Bam never did Viva La Bam...it completely ruined everything, scripted to f**k and hardly funny. ...Rant Over.
  17. LMFAO! The waxing leg this is all wrong, wrong, wrong! Go up the leg damn it, UP! Funny thing was, looking at the lads on the film some of them were in their late teens by the look of it...the lad jumping in the sand for example...he knows how to pull girls...Stud...
  18. Check out the dare-devil gypsies...its pretty dangerous stuff... Click Me
  19. Not many company will argue with you promoting their product. I've done this before and heres a few tips, not everyone says yes! 1. Be organised, even if you're not, pretend to be for them. 2. Write a professional letter, in my experience a written letter is better and is more likely to get results, a written letter will show enfusiasm and, once again, will make you look professional and a letter will seem more personal. 3. Don't give up. If the big companies refuse you permission, ask why. Change your business to their 'standards' and try again. 4. and finally...NEVER OFFER ROYALTIES! Any company will take royalties if they are offered, don't try to use it as bribary. If they demand royalties then far enough. ------------ Advice offered, however, never worked for me I've been seeking permission from many, many poster companies (GB Posters ect) but no one wants any of it...bastards. I kept being denied because of the use of the posters...eg. buying posters and making them into another profitable source...but, they don't like that sorta thing. good luck to you, let us know how it works out. Out of interest, which producers are you going after?
  20. Think yourself lucky. About a year ago or so I was on a First Aid course for part of my Health and Safety Diploma, we got shown several photos of accidents that happened within the manufacturing business. One imparticular sticks in my mind... It was a man of a chubby build supervising carpet going though rollers. Anyway, something or other happened and the guy touched the carpet, which dragged his hand and into the rollers. The gap between the rollers was 3mm....andit sucked his hand in, crushing every bone into dust and then finally his fingers had exploded...THAT was disgusting.
  21. Who gave you grief? I already got a Hope disc, need forks and hub.
  22. I'm not spraying, just having new rims (Try-alls Gold), for the price of them I may aswell have a fresh rim and a nice colour. Definatly going to go for it adam, need it ready for summer (plenty of time by the looks of the weather). No point in photoshoping one, loadsa work (probably) for a pointless result as such...but hey, if any one can be arsed I'd be grateful. Thanks All!
