  1. If its a 2005 Maggie and the TPA is f**ked then, in my experience your'e stuck, I've tried EVERYTHING to get that b*****d thing fixed but to no luck. The cheapest option, insteaded of replacing with another 05 blade, is to get an 04 lever and body, the TPA is better, and if that screws up, its a quick and easy bodge. I've found no bodge for the 05, but someone might have...if so please share

    Police Fines

Click Here I just found this, a list of maximum fine for traffic offenses. Look at the cycling one, how the fecking hell can the police/courts fine 2,500 quid for dangerous cycling? What's dangerous cycling classed as? BMX, Trials? Its just a ridiculous fine, I know probably no-one ever gets a fine like that, but seriously? You get a less fine for driving with the WRONG license! For the fine of 'dangerous cycling' you could drive a car without a license or MOT without your seatbelt on.

    Ascii Movie

It is good I suppose, I mean, if some guy had written it by hand it would be so much more impressive.
  4. If you type armadillo you maybe won't get anything. They're spelt 'Armourdillo'

    Best Cereal

Luckycharms were discontinued in the UK due to there 'through the roof' sugar levels, and was deemed 'unacceptable' for a first meal of the day. Same with Mountain Dew... Clicky Click...

    Better Braking

I never though this would be a problem? If the pads come out, the pads come out, no problem? Would an 04 lever body be good with 05 pistons? (Sorry to but in on the topic, just a yes no is ok )
  8. Do not use heat, it will just destroy your frame. I don't think WD40 would help this much, I accept I may be wrong here, but the problem is the lack grip and leverage. Although you say you have used the screwdriver method and this hasn't worked? Which is quite suprising, if you got a good solid grip and the amount of force you put through the screwdriver would be immense, and so I don't WD40 would help this much?

    Rims

So whats the disadvantage of having a wider rim? I used to have a hog, which is now f**ked, but I'll soon have a Try-all rim. Will my try-all be wider?
  10. Hi all, Just tried to get them off now I'm home. I tried 'evenly' hitting it but to no luck, I daren't hit it really hard incase I f**k the threads in my frame. I'll try pulling them apart with a clamp now, but I'm not too optimistic, its f**kin locked on! lol. Any other suggestions? Heating maybe? Thanks
  11. Didn't tell us that? Then he's probably nailed his warrenty. But its worth a try, supercycles are sound, they will probably offer a half price set?
  12. I'm fairly new to bike trials, and a lot of riders on these forums are sponsored, if not by bike manufactures then online shops or clothing companies. As an ex-mototrials rider, I know that sponsorship is VERY difficult, simply because there are hardly any 'aftermarket' part manufactures. Where as in bike trials you can have the choice of hundreds of forks, cranks, rims ect...in moto-trials there is ONE and that is the main manufacture whether it be Sherco, Gas Gas ect. More manufactures means more sponsorship. I don't believe that they sponsor the first kid that comes a long, I think they help out those in need that have potential, and I respect them for it. When MR.X starts riding at 12 years old, and at 15 he's sponsored by Cleanbikes, at 16 by Selectbikes ect, it will build up a good profile and then at 19 they could be in with Monty, Koxx or whoever. I think these companies are helping out. Be thankful, in mototrials the only way to get a good sponsorship deal, or even a discount is to have the surname 'Lampkin'.

  14. Then Try-All can put in an aerosol can and sell it for 10 quid...
  15. You have to be careful where you work, some people do take advantage. They will try and rip you off with wages and work hours. Your minimum wage is 3 pounds an hour, if your employer doesn't pay this, they are breaking the law. Your minimum wage is uneffected by how many hours you work, full time or part time. You are NOT allowed to work in a mine, in a factory, in transport or on a construction yard. You would not be allowed to work during school time, and if you work after school it is for 2 hours only, or for 12 hours over one week in which you should go to school and finally from 7am - 7pm are your ONLY working hours. Theres a lot of law involved to protect younger workers, most employers don't bother because it is a lot of work and they are very liable if all goes wrong. If you have any questions or want more info just PM me, this is my occupation Only just noticed your age, seeing how you're under 16, your not entitled to a minimum wage!
  16. Well... 1. Threw sparklers on my fire. They set off and I couldn't put them out and it filled my whole house up with blue smoke. 2. Got a tennis ball, filled it up with the ends of RED matches, sealed it up and threw it at the floor in the car park by my house. It burst into flames and filled the car park and a few streets up with smoke, I went inside and 5 minutes later a fire engine and cop car showed up...just in the nick of time! 3. Made a potato gun...a big steel tube, spray petrol in it (so its a vapour), and then shove a potato in it...using an electric ignition, light the fuel, and then the potato flieeees. wonders of the internet, eh?
  17. I don't necessarily 'need' the crank, I can replace it, but It'd be nice to get it off with minimal damage and save it as a spare. I'll knock the shit out of it tonight, If I do it carefully and evenly then I don't think it'll cause that much damage to the bb axle or the crank...hopefully.
  18. On the crank. Its the first few, and so the extractor wont screw in.
  19. Hi, I tried to remove my crank arm yesterday, from the drive side. Due to a hard bash on the crank, it seems to have creased about two of the top treaded on the crank. Problem is I cannot screw in my extractor to get it off, so how can I get the threads right again? (I have a tap and die set, but nothing that will go that big). I may need to forced the crank off by 'other means' but I don't know how to do that so any advice would be good. I'm not too fussed about f**king the crank up as all will soon be replaced. Any ideas?

    Profile Set Up

Ah, ok, thanks Will the sprocket attach to the Onza muscleman cranks for a temporary arrangement? Thanks again, Matt
  21. Hi all, I will soon be running a rear profile hub on my pro. Obviously, as my bike is standard I need to replace my ACS claw with a fixed sprocket. Just curious as to how I'm going to do this and I need some help. First of all I will be changing to ISIS cranks/bb, the cranks are the Echo CNC's, and I will be having them with the Echo bashring inc. from tarty. Which/what front spocket will I need? I gather that 18T is most popular so I think I'll stick with that as I don't have a personal preference. Looking at the sprockets on tartybikes, I was looking at the Onza 18T Screw-on Sprocket. Is this basically a screw on/screw off sprocket? No lockring? No spacers? Any advice/suggestions are appreciated. Never done this before and its getting to expensive to feck up now Many Thanks, Matt
  22. Wait til his about 30 and he'll be the worlds strongest cripple.
