  2. http://www.tribalzine.com/?Flipp-Joins-the-Tarty-Bikes-Team
  3. Cheers for that! Going to have a right listen to all that.
  4. Awesome. A well deserved spot on the team for sure Nice images, awesome riding and a cool soundtrack (Who is it by the way? Right up my street), what more could you want?
  5. I've just realised it was you that posted it! Great work on the video Paul, really impressed with your work! Looking forward to the next one!
  6. Werd. Laaaame... Their riding seems to have come on a bit, a bit more flow etc., although it still seems to be a bit do this trick here, then this trick there, rather than actual lines. 0:56 though, where he lands on his front wheel and rolled back down, that was pretty cool.
  7. Haha, I wouldn't worry about it. It was a none-speaking part in a pretty nonsensical narrative. Shit hair though.
  8. Full video of the Red Bull Metro Pipe event
  9. These Australian pros and their good videos... That was a nice watch! Top riding, decent edit (although I'm watching at work, so can't tell what the music's like). An excellent video in favour of the 'high production values + good riding > good riding and pants edit' argument. EDIT: Looks like it was another Paul Gerloff edit. This guy knows his sh*t.
  10. Cool. Nice to see some footage of JD, and Nick's super-slow manuals were really nice! Weird fact: last night I had a dream in which Sam Nichols, who I've never met, appeared and had rubbish, short dreadlocks.
  11. This might be one for the older guys, since he hasn't been on the scene for a while, but... The blonde girl from The Apprentice ------ Joe Baxter

  13. Oh man, I lived in Madrid for a year and went through that Metro station every day on my way to work and annoyed the hell out of my mate by telling her, every day, how much I wanted to take my bike in and ride that pipe/flat bank/disused line/whatever it was. SO glad someone finally has. I guess I must be some kind of visionary or something...

Jérôme Chapuis - Sleeping Nature - It’s not just street riders that can put together great videos... and Swiss Champion Jérôme Chapuis has the proof ! Incredible riding (especially when you consider the ice and snow), perfect soundtrack, superb editing, this video has it all! Andrew Dickey - Black Bike Vol. 1 - We knew that eight-time Australian Champion Andrew Dickey was working on a crazy new video... but we weren’t expecting this!
  17. :$ Thanks. It's one that I've been meaning to do for a while now, so I'm glad it's turned out well!
  18. Cheers In actual fact, I did just email Adam some questions, but like I say, he gave me some really good answers, so it didn't need much editing at all and reads really well - best interviewee ever!
  19. Thanks - so did I! Adam gave us some great answers, which made it pretty easy really! I've just finished buidling up my new bike, hoping to get out on it at some point this week/weekend, but yes, as Dave says, I'll be riding senior at Blackpool too. You should come along!

  21. Edited down a bit, but Krisboats (and this girl, whoever she is) is speaking sense - don't over think things, you want to be able to be yourself, have fun and see how you get on, not pile on the pressure in a clichéd first date situation. When I lived in Kent, 20 minutes from Howlett's Zoo, that was a standard, and successful, date venue for me. It gives you something to do, but allows you to talk freely, not talk for a bit if you need to without it being an awkward silence, and even gives you something (like that baboon eating its own shit or sniffing another baboon's balls) to talk about if conversation's drying out, and takes loads of pressure off. You can even get something to eat or drink and sit and have a chat if you feel the need. Easy. Think of somtheing cool and fun to do that gives you plenty of options, rather than locking yourself into doing one thing that's going to make you feel nervous and intense. And no crying!
  22. We've been really busy organising and running the first round of the nationals, which was on Sunday. We'll be looking at the designs this week I imagine.
  23. Ali told me about this yesterday and watching it was the first thing I did when I had a spare moment (ironically, while I'm at work). I REALLY enjoyed it - top riding and a really nice feel to it overall. Nice one Word. Makes me wish I had the balls to quit my job and do something similar! I also like the way you ride a long bike like it was a short one - very stylish!
  24. You always have to go one better, don't you?
