It doesn't have to be expensive either. I've just bought my first pair of shoes. Cotswold outdoors had a pair online for £45 and instore was £55. I'm not the most experienced climber so I won't be able to tell the difference between these and more expensive ones. I could definitely feel the difference between wearing climbing shoes and just trainers, you use your feet more effectively putting less strain on your arms. Chalk bag and chalk was less than £15

Thats what i wanted to hear. I didn't want to commit to buy somewhere because it was cheaper, to then fork out X amount and for it to work out more expensive.

I'm trying to avoid running a generator just because they're noisy and like forteh says, I don't know if it would handle everything I need it too.

The ones I've seen aren't huge, 19' x 9' or there abouts. Big enough for my mini and a fairly decent work area/bench and space for tools and shit.

I'm looking to buy a garage/workshop in the future and I'm finding it difficult to find any with an existing power supply so I'm toying with the idea of buying one without and getting power installed. Has anybody here done anything similar before and if so what were costs like? I've seen some sites quote less than £2000 but a guy at work, who built his own house, said it cost him nearly £16000 for the luxury and even then, he wired the whole house himself.

I just mapped out 10K on a map to see if I can replicate the run on actual roads and I can't believe how far it is. Going to give it a go sometime soon and I'll time myself. The only thing I worry about is the treadmill sets the pace, whereas on the road/street I set my own and I could get lazy and might not be anywhere near an hour.

Thanks for the tips guys. It was just a test of endurance really to see if I could actually manage it. I got nearly 8 months to train for it.

I've going to the gym, for maybe 6 months now, doing weights and getting tonk (nah I'm still scrawny) but I never really did any endurance. I started my sessions with a 5 min run to warm up. Today out of nowhere I smashed 10k in 62 mins (gutted I didn't break the hour mark - stupid slow start) so now I'm training myself up for tough mudder. Got 8 months to become a tough mudding machine! Pretty chuffed with myself and I still feel I had some in me to go further!

Thats pretty gutting to happen after travelling all that way. Hopefully it won't ruin your experience of the car

I was tempted to buy an US cleaner. They can be had pretty cheap from maplins, but I did wonder how much I'd use it. I did want to have a go at injectors just because it's not going to do any harm and it's a lot cheaper than sending them off. I did have loads of other little brackets etc that I wanted to do.

Putting anything in my ears, cotton buds, fingers, ear plugs. The deeper the better. I think it is slightly sexual - eargasm. Flicking a good switch and/or balancing a switch so it is stationary between either pole.
